Today my husband took me out shopping to surprise me..... he was looking for a beautiful bracelet for Mother’s Day. We actually had no budget.... just looking for whatever caught our eye. The gentleman that was helping us showed us an adjustable bracelet, we asked to see others and moved on to another case, there were some GORGEOUS Diamond bracelets we wanted to see, but much to our shock, surprise and total embarrassment the gentleman said that he thinks these ones are out of our budget!!!!!We had just come from an appointment where my husband had to have an MRI so we were dressed very causal, we were mortified and just turned and left.My husband has been known to just surprise me with fabulous jewelry costing thousands of dollars without even thinking twice about it. This young gentleman not only lost his commission from us, but a customer for life.We will definitely stick with Diamond Durrel’s from now on!Sincerely,Kelly & Thomas Smith
Zales in lake charles is a JOKE! HORRIABLE EXPERIANCE . Husband bought me a anniversary band late January for our 26th anniversary Feb. 24th the ring came back from being sized 6 weeks later missing a diamond. No one could send it back for repair because the manager was on vacation! 2ant stories why dDo NOT DO BUSINESS THEREweeks later I bought a different ring instead . On March 25th 2021 today is April 10th and it has yet to be shipped out to be sized! I have been told numerous differ
Poor customer service. Its as if employees think you owe them for providing a service.
I just stood at the counter in this store patiently waiting to be acknowledged by the employee behind the counter, after 10 minutes of standing there without one word said to me I left. He was not on the phone or speaking with a customer, a simple “Hey good morning, what can I do to help you or Hi Ma’am, I’ll be right with you” would have been appropriate. I can’t believe a grown adult just simply ignored a customer and even has a job in a customer service based business. Clearly customer service training is needed at this location.
My husband purchased this lovely classic style ring for me in February 2015. He bought the ring during a good sale and managed to get the ring at 30% off online. Within 2 weeks a center diamond fell out for the first time. (yes, there were more times.) So whenever the ring broke I contacted customer service and they said that I could either receive a refund OR fix the ring and add a free diamond warranty. I went ahead and got the ring repaired (because I loved it and was told it was a fluke) and 6 weeks later I had my ring again. 2 months later the ring broke again! 6 weeks later I got it back. A few months later a diamond fell out AGAIN. 7 times in total over the course of 30 months my ring had a center diamond fall out. 6 weeks without my ring each time. I finally had ENOUGH and contacted customer support. It took a month of calling and talking to different representatives to finally get somewhat of a resolution. They said theyd replace my ring with another but only for the value of the purchase and not for the value of the ring. So yesterday I got to pick out a cheaper, smaller ring to replace the prettier, more expensive ring my husband bought me. The lady helping me tried to convince me that the new ring was better and had more CT. weight and better quality but Im left feeling really sad. My initial ring was a set and my new one isnt. The initial ring was completely my style and this one isnt. And to add insult to injury... I just found out that the ring my husband purchased is valued higher than what the replacement ring is valued at. So Zales will be taking my ring back, fixing it and reselling it while giving me a cheaper ring that I dont like nearly as much. I feel completely jipped... and sad.
Worst customer service!Never answer a phone.
I stopped in the Prien Lake Mall to have my Bridal Set (Purchased and insured through Zales) cleaned at 8:30 P.M. 30 minutes before the mall closed. Two employees were on duty. One was in the back and one was on her personal cellphone. When I walked in, the one on the phone just looked at me and kept talking. She finally stepped to the back to get the other worker and asked her to come up front (loudly) and help this woman. When the other worker came out she politely asked me how she could help me. I asked her if she could please clean my ring. She looked at me and replied, “I already turned the machine off, but if you go over there *pointing to Samuels Jewelers they can do it.” I went across the way and asked the gentleman at that store if he could do it and told them what they said he replied, “Yes ma’am, I would be happy to do that for you. My machine is off too but I will be happy to turn it on for you.” I thanked him and told him how much I appreciated him. In conversation he told me that was one of the reasons he left Zales and how common these behaviors are. I called corporate and complained and they assured me an area manager would be contacting me, but they never have.
My husband bought my engagement ring here. Most beautiful ring Ive ever seen. I never take my ring off for anything and it gets banged around and dirty alot and Ive not had any issues with the ring what so ever. We have had nothing but a wonderful experience every time we have been in. Rather it be having my ring cleaned or for the purchase of something else. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Would recommend them to anyone!
This Zales is the worst jewelry store that I have EVER had the misfortune to attempt to shop at. The two sales people that were on duty were the most unprofessional people I’ve come across in a while. All I wanted was to have my ring and necklace cleaned and my diamond contract dated. I also wanted to purchase an open heart necklace but after it took them thirty minutes to even acknowledge me I decided against it. Whenever one of them finally did come over to me, at that same time her friends stopped by and she chatted with them for about five minutes before she got back to me. I’m sorry but Prien Lake Mall Zales store won’t be getting my business in the future! I will get my ring cleaned at Kay’s from now on.
I left an earring to have a diamond replace Im late May. I was told that if be contacted in 3-5 business days with a quote. After 7 business days I called. (Had to call 5 times because no one would answer). I was told they didnt know what was going on with my earring and theyd let me know. Also it was insinuated that I was lying about being told I would be contacted in 3-5 days. There was a date of June 15th as date of completion. I called on June 14th but after calling 8 time without any answer I decided to reach out to the corporate office for assistance with my issue. They had a hard time getting hold of them, but was able to give me answers.
The sales lady just ignored us while we were pointing at a ring. I guess whoever she was texting or DMing more important than customers and her job.
Horrible service will never buy another thing from this place
The store manager walk up to me when I went to the store and greeted us at the time I didnt know she was a store manager and what she was an amazing person I was really nervous when I went in and really happy with my purchase afterwards and she was a big part to play in that
VERY SPECIAL place
