Very delicious King Cake. Card machine wasnt working but he let me take the cake to my rv and come back with cash to pay for it. He also sent me away with complimentary donut holes for the kids. The donut holes were also very good. There are many different fillings you can choose from for a custom king cake. Great service. I highly recommend this place for donut, cake, and/or other baking needs!

I have eaten a lot of donuts in my life. This place is the best by far. Don’t let the outside fool you. I was driving to Lake Charles yesterday and looked up bakeries that sell King cakes and came upon this shop. As soon as I got into Lake Charles I drove over there to get one. WOW! What a selection! I decided on a traditional cinnamon one and brought it to my office today back in Texas. It was fantastic and everyone loved it. Delicious. I would definitely go back to this bakery. Highly recommend.

Best donuts in town!Perfectly thick and sweet. Also, they have a lot of options. I love the beignet and chocolate covered sprinkle donuts (big recommend). Don’t leave without trying the kolaches! You’ll be back for more :p

The owner is rude to customers and employees. While I was there an employee was trying to get his paycheck and the owner didnt want to pay him. This employee was one of the nice ones. Now I know why they couldnt keep employees.

This is my favorite donut shop hands down. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to satisfy the customer. Their donuts are hot and fresh everything I go there.

I don’t understand why anyone would choose to work in customer service if they do not take pride in serving their customers. You cannot treat one customer very bland and transactional as to rush them out of your store and then treat the customer behind them with the utmost respect and pleasure and tell on customer about a promotional drawing but not the customer directly in front of them. That is profiling and unacceptable. The people you disrespected are a well known couple which is what sucks for your company because they could have just shed so much light on your company and brought so much more business and money to you because that’s how they are. They love all people and they promote wonderful people. And when I say they are well known I mean they have thousands of people who watch their lives so in the words of Julia Roberts in pretty woman “big mistake. Big. Huge”You shouldn’t treat someone differently due to their skin tone or because of who they choose to love. People bring you money you provide them with delicious food and great service period.

If youre looking for the best kolaches in town, you must swing by! The shrimp and jalapeno was my favorite. Im used to boudin, but Delicious has so many varieties that fit my southern palette. Theres nothing better than being able to watch their creativity come to life making the donuts. This is my go to for breakfast any time Im in Lake Charles.

I was super excited to find an American donut place so close to my house, but unfortunately the donuts have tasted terrible every time weve tried them. I know a lot of colleagues that come here to buy their king cakes, but I personally havent tried them because of the not so great experiences with the donuts and kolaches.

I’m not one to give bad reviews but I was very disappointed this morning.Came through the drive through Early about 7:30 and asked for Hot donuts and they gave me room temperature and to make matters worse... I asked for two Kolaches which were ice cold and stale and when i asked if they could heat them up.. He said I would have to get out the car go in a warm them up in the microwave myself (Mind you I had two small children with me) and I was on my way to church and in a rush and little did they know we buy donuts for our set up team and spend $40-50 dollars a week on a breakfast for the team. Well, nothing I asked for was accommodated and I won’t be coming back here. Excellent customer service always keeps you in business no matter if your donuts are good or not.

I adore this place!!!! As a migraineur, I have to watch my salts and sugars, but these kids people looked on bottles for me and have vowed to avoid things with those triggers. I can have their baking, and that means more than they will ever know. Their people are patient and kind despite being a rather busy establishment.

I’m huge on customer service which is the only reason I’m leaving a 2 star rating. The older lady who took our order was rude the minute we walked in the door. Not sure if it was because we were LGBT or brown skinned, it was clear we were being mistreated when a white woman walked in behind us and was giving superb customer service. She was even telling her to join a raffle for a free king cake and we weren’t even told to join the raffle. It’s clear she just wanted us to leave. Considering we tell all of our friends about this place it was a shame to receive that type of treatment. We also live in Dallas and usually have this place ship us King Cakes. Our first time visiting this place since we were in Lake Charles and I’m very disappointed in our first experience. Try treating all of your customers the same next time. If you’re huge on customer service like we are steer clear of this place.

I used to work here.As far as the donuts, I hope you like gnats bc they’re everywhere in the donuts and the glaze and the owners refuse to pay for pest control.They also never clean their equipment and try to sell food way past its sell by date. It’s really nasty.

I recently made a trip to Lake Charles, Delicious donuts were always on my list to go by, and purchase what were the best donuts ever, when i lived there. But my last visit there, on Jan. 3rd 2019, i spent over $40 there to bring donuts back to N. Texas. I was do dissatisfied and let down, they were down sized, heavy, and more expensive! Not worth it, I won’t be going there again! I really had to throw some away, my family wasn’t impressed. Sorry Paula, your quality in donuts has gone way down!

Not enough words to describe how great this food is. Ive never seen such a selection at a donut shop. Great Regional selections like boudin kolaches and King Cakes. They even have mini king cakes. Incredibly fast service for such a small place! And they turn out so much product! And they do it all with friendly, courteous service.

The owners is a mean person. I asked if he could warm up our donuts and he got mad and told us to come if we wanted them warm. We wont be back.

The Red velvet was fabulous, beignet was my favorite in Lake Charles and plain glazed was excellent. Service was friendly and welcoming.

Just tasted the bananas foster king cake and almost got a little faint. One of the most decadent things Ive ever had and EASILY the best king cake in town. Would give it 10 stars if I could.

I am so glad I called my King Cakes in, they were wonderful. I will be driving from Texas every year now for these. The cakes were moist, the filling was wonderful, not to mention they were decorated beautifully. Must also get the crawfish and three cheese kolaches, just as amazing.

This place is great, I’ve only had the doughnuts and cookies but the Kolaches look amazing too.

Usually when I have something bad to say I keep it to myself but a coworker suggested them to me so this was my 1st visit to this donut shop and I probably won’t be back! I got there when they opened at 4:00am and the donuts were extremely cold and stiff seems like I got donuts leftover from the day before! Even if they were made at 2:00am they should not have been this stiff!
