First time dealing with Graybar as our vendor. The items arrived on time for pickup and the employee there, Joshua was super helpful in answering my questions.

I am an electrical contractor out of Houston. I was called in to one of my regular clients properties that was damaged in the hurricane to get the facility back up. I needed three breakers, they had two, they sold them to me for $308.65 each. I told the guy that they are normally about $90.00 in Houston. He didnt care and I had to have them. Another contractor in the parking lot said that Teche Supply had the same product. I went to Teche for the third breaker. It was $90.00. So Graybar is either taking advantage of out of town contractors or thay are just plain gouging because of the hurricane. I highly recommend you check other supply houses before using Graybar.

I visited the Lake Charles store on Bilbo Street. This place is not a good place to shop. I am not sure what just happen because I was black or a women. I call the store for recessed lighting spoke with a salesman he tells me what he have in stock i travel from the south of town to his location to make a purchase I got there and the man will not come out and help me and the loader at the desk said that he did not know anything about the lights and looked up the price for me. I asked for the lighting salesman and he would not come out to help me. Carl explained that he just fill the orders that the salesman process he was sorry I said never mind and left. Being confused as to why this happen to me after telling the salesman that I was on my way and he would not talk to me, I called back and spoke with Carl and asked to explain what happened well he told the agents that I was upset and they made jokes not knowing that I was not put on HOLD I heard everything that they were saying about me. The lady was asking why I was upset well if she wanted to know she could have asked me if I need help instead of passing right by me. He told them all to put their hats on that he was about to connect me. So I told him he forgot to put me on hold and I heard everything that they said and hung up.If the guy was only a salesman and dont interact with customers just get someone out that can help with the lights that is all that I went there for was to make a purchase that I had already spoke to someone about that told me it would be on the counter so that I can pick between the two.I will make sure that my business partners know how people are being treated there and I hope that you find a better way of communicating with outside folks in the future. I will never forget this moment and the way I was treated.
