Good food, great beer, nice environment. Crying Eagle is fantastic because they have so much room outside, and they keep adding more and more seating. The food is delicious and comes out quick and always hot. The beer selection is always changing and they come up with all kinds of new flavors. They usually have live music but to be honest, it’s always too loud and you can’t hear your friends sometimes. It’s still always a great time when we go.

Dam good place to eat and an even better selection of beers!! I had the Front porch breakfast IPA, and the Hefeweizen, I highly recommend both! Also fir lunch I had the nachos with chicken and smoked pork, very delicious! The environment was very cool, the location I very clean and just an overall great experience! You wasn’t regret it! We stopped at Crying Eagle Brewing Company after a long day of driving. The beer selection was outstanding, as was the pizza. The lovely outdoor seating area was a great place to hang out, listen to some live music and enjoy our meal. Recommend you stop by if you find yourself visiting Lake Charles, Louisiana.

My first visit will definitely not be my last, I just had the best burger I have had in a very long time. It was clean, cool and pleasant. We had a fantastic wheat beer in a relaxed atmosphere. It was perfect.

Our last stop for our 10 yr Anniversary getaway,and it was a great one!Super Great group of folks that operate this establishment, very warm and welcoming.We tried different Lagers, and some wines, of which were good. Also tried some pizza from the on-site bistro.Overall a delightful spot to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.Clean restrooms too 😁😁

This is my favorite place to hang out in Lake Charles. The beers great and there is a large variety. Flights are fun. The food is really good. Just a spacious, enjoyable place. Thank you.

Great atmosphere, laid back and airy with vaulted ceilings. Interesting art. Excellent food. I had the nachos.. huge portions. Bring a friend. Burgers are kobe beef. One of our party had one and dubbed it amazing. Pizza is also good. Staff was friendly. Over all a great lunch spot.

They are a local company from what I understand. Their beer flavors are always changing so there is always something new to try. If new isnt for you, they keep a few beers year round. Either way there is something there for everyone. Food is pretty good and staff is always friendly. They have live bands most of the time and offer outdoor seating. One of my favorite places to go!

What I love most is how busy and fun this place can be. Yet, at the same time the service is always on point and staff always doing their best. I cant recommend this place enough and if I still worked in the service industry I would try to work here.

Both my husband and I have said What would we do if Crying Eagle wasnt in Lake Charles? No joke, after the Hurricanes in 2020, we both were saying I hope crying Eagle was spared. Thats how much we absolutely LOVE this place. Food is great and the staff is great. And the resident brewcat - Tom Petty - has pretty much stole my heart. I absolutely would recommend going here to anyone who hasnt!

I recommend Crying Eagle for the live music and for the relaxed atmosphere with inside and outside options which work grest for larger groups. Mom enjoyed the Boudin Balls alot!! Food was good, yet my Dad and Brothers burgers were on the salty side and my Margarita Pizza only had a few small pieces of cheese...but the sauce was very good and lemon drizzle was good. Open space and large tables perfect for birthday parties or just getting together with friends.

Love this place! My wife and I have been working in Lake Charles since hurricane Laura and Crying Eagle opened back up a few weeks later. We have been every week since for the great beer selections, service, food, and entertainment! Our favorite place to go in Lake Charles!! We are going to miss it when back home in Texas a few weeks from now. Please open one in the Spring or Woodlands area!

Just unreal. Its a beautiful facility. The pizza I had was insane good. And the beer was really well done. This place is an absolute gem.

Food is delicious...the new way they serve is a lil off...but it works...no longer have servers...just people delivering food to u...that may have just been cause we went on a Saturday night for the Comic show... the guy from Houston was hilarious 🤣. Frozen Beer margarita was pritty good... the beer is always on point...

Nice setup, off the street a bit. Solid pub food and beer was ok. Had a flightvof 4 IPA and nothing mind blowing but solid. I thinkbthe is the only real brewery in Lake Charles

We loved this place. Very good beer and our food was delicious. We had the Butcher block pizza made in a wooden fire pit and the grilled oysters. We took home 3 slices of pizza as we were full. The inside is large with you ordering at the bar and then at the cafe window. There is a large outside patio and a room upstairs available for private parties. There is a table with card and board games available, a gift store and of course large windows to view their brew equipment.

Awsome atmosphere. Very family friendly. They have build a facility that invites not only the craft beer enthusiasts but also someone that is just looking for somewhere to meet up with friends. There are plenty of tables and lounge areas between the main floor, loft, & outside deck and patio areas. They have some games ( 2 shuffle boards, ring toss, washers, & corn hole ) around the facility. Including one arcade game with a wide variety of old school titles. Pizza is whats on the menu here. Its fired in a small brick type oven in a small kitchen with one or two people running it. So dont be in a rush. Grab a beer, try something new, and enjoy the scenery.

Ill start off by saying Im not much of a beer drinker but this beer was good. We enjoyed the tour. You can tell that the employees have a passion for the brand and the product. The aesthetic and atmosphere is great as well. The plumbing fixtures were cool. Unfortunately we did not get to try any food but it looked like everyone else was enjoying. Live music on a Friday night was a plus. All around great experience.

Really enjoyed our visit. We tried a flight and then bought pints of the honey wheat beer. Liked the decor. Boudin appetizer was excellent. Pizza flatbread was loaded with garlic which I wasnt expecting.

Beautiful brewery, great customer service, excellent food and the beers speak for themselves. Things Unsettled is an unimaginable perfect Hazy IPA; dont miss this IPA when you come to this brewery. I also enjoyed the Hop blooded IPA and the Coffee Porter.

Such an awesome place definitely woth the stop. The pizza was phenomenal. We had the The Vying Eagle and the Sweet Heat. As for beer we had The Oreo Stout (really sweet), Pistol Bridge Porter(gods ballenced porter), juaca juaca (very high abv very easy drink), jingle something ( definitely a Christmas beer spices were present but not overwhelming). Overall this place we perfect great vibe, food, and of course beer! Even went home with a sixer!

2/10/2021 4pm. We really like this place, and I have been dying to go.. but the prices do not match the service. For food items being THAT expensive we expected so much better service. My dinner guest actually complained about the poor service most of the time spent there. Our server (never caught a name, but black hair) was very bland with no personality, no enthusiasm whatsoever.. And our large outdoor table was taken over by dishes really quickly. Ordered many appetizers to share and actually had to ask for side plates for sharing. Our drink glasses were piling up. And when our waitress got off of work at like 5 or 6, she didnt bother to tell anyone else that we were there and still ordering. I waited 5 minutes at the EMPTY bar to get us more drinks and was told I couldnt get them there, being we were sitting outside? (lol OK so what exactly does one have to do to get a drink around here? Do you want my money or not??) Told bartender we no longer had a waitress, so she gets us a new one and this dirty-blond waitress cared even less about us and it was clear her other tables still ordering food were more important to her. She wouldnt stop talking to other tables and it took forever to get her attention. She left everything on the table, giant pile of trash and dishes and napkins that we started stuffing in a cup. I was a waitress in my younger years and it was all SO so unprofessional. And for the food to be THAT expensive??? No. We will definitely not be returning. We spent around 100$ with the 2 of us and were so disappointed with the service

I have only been here twice and am ordering agian tonight. The first time I dined in and the atmosphere is very nice. Lots of people and staff are very friendly. I order the CE Burger and mannnnn it was delicious. The 2nd time I ordered the backyard BBQ pizza and omg..... I can say hands down this is the best pizza in Lake Charles period. Now Im getting another backyard BBQ pizza and trying the CE pizza. Im sure it will be delicious as well.

This is a cool, fun, chill hangout spot for adults and kids. When you walk in, you get the sense that its a more laid back bar, and it is, but its actually very family friendly. There are kids and teenagers here with parents. You dont get IDd here unless of course you order an adult beverage. I just love the atmosphere here at Crying Eagle. There were people sitting around enjoying the band, there were people eating pizza and burgers, there were people playing games, there were people sitting on couches talking, and of course, there were people drinking. I dont drink beer, but I could see there was a good selection, and prices seemed to be pretty reasonable. Keep in mind that even though it feels Iike a bar/brewery, it does close earlier than most bars; 9pm on weekdays and 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

We really wanted to like this place. We are big fans of breweries and outdoor spaces and local businesses. My husband and I travel all over the country and we look at breweries and other local spots as a way to find community.The three stars are for the potential of Crying EagleOur waiter/waitress/server (not sure the PC label) but the gal the helped us was miserable. She had one AirPod in, had ZERO personality and was so unfriendly she came across as rude. She clearly did not want to be there which made us also not want to be there.We will give the space another chance but I hope the people working there want to be there more than us next time.

Small selection of beers (I like lagers, dopplebachs & OAT beers- none of the latter two here). Tried their rice beer. Soft, mellow, like an ale or IPA, which I dont care for (its like colored, slightly flavored water to me).Rice beer alright.Food was Good. Love the fig & bacon jam pizza! Absolutely DE-Li-cious!!Played bean toss. Band was warming up. [There from 220-430pm, on a wednesday. Not crowded at all.]

Best brewery in the area. The food is great. We love the pizzas and the few apps we have tried have all been great.

I loved the atmosphere. The location was clean and felt secluded. The drinks were wonderful, and I look forward to trying more. I had the strawberry ale. The strawberry was not over powering, but was delicious. The Ready To Mingle was my favorite though. The food was excellent as well. I can’t wait to visit again when I can try the new deck. The wait time was very quick, and the system they had set up was excellent!

Customer service was not as I expected. We ordered an IPA and it definitely was NOT an ipa. Would not recommend unless you like drinking just lagers because that’s exactly what they brought us trying to pass as IPA’s.

We enjoyed the band very much. Hope to go to see the again soon.

Great place! Tasty beers, good food, friendly staff and locals. Highly recommend this place. Only thing I would change about the place is dial back how bright the lights are in the tasting room to give the space some more ambiance.

Went on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30 and there was a decent sized crowd. The staff handled it with grace and food came out in a timely manner. The “Sweet Heat” pizza was delicious and the “Don’t Blush” and “Guava”beers were spectacular. No complaints!

A great hangout. I enjoy their rotating selections of craft beers and fast, friendly service. What makes it even better is their expanding food selection. I have been there many times, and will be there for many more.

Beer was good. It took the Bistro 25 minutes to bring us our sandwiches. They claimed they lost the ticket. No one checked on us for the long delay of two sandwiches. There were five people in the brewery. Recommend the beer but not the food. Bistro manager (?) sat at a table with a couple and talked. The cook and this manager (?) were communicating to each other from a table in the dining area to the grill. Very unprofessional . Take care of your customers. Will not return. Also my credit card was double charged.

Tasty beer and an atmosphere in between a sports bar and family restaurant. Up and downstairs levels with a view of the brewery. Would be nice if they had fries instead of chips with the burgers, but the burger was good. Would visit again 👍

There are new beers introduced regularly. The food is always great and so is the beer. Very nice atmosphere. Always a good place to just hang out and have a few beers.

Incredibly friendly staff. The brewery tour is great and all of the beers on tap are fantastic. Ive already traveled from Texas twice to visit them and I will definitely return for a third visit in the future.
