Stopped in to look for a chord and melody book. Im a percussionist. Staff was busy which was delightful to witness. A certain staff member searched me out, when she became available, to check on me. Honestly meant allot because i was down the steps to the left, around the corner, hiding in music theory and keyboard books. That was a stand up move on her part, that i can appreciate π. Purchased 2 books so i can work on my chord progressions and legit melodies, rather than using samples. Saved my $20 cash and used debit.
Great place! They always go above and beyond to try to help you out or fix your instrument.Have a huge selection of all instruments.Have a great qualified staff thats there to help you.
Great place, very helpful staff, good selection, nice atmosphere, overall a really good experience doing business with them.
Great staff!!! All my guitar needs filled!!!!
New harp love it thanks ladies and gent! Looking forward to that 12 string..or 17
Always ready to help with a smile. Good prices awesome customer service very knowledgeable in sound reinforcement. Large selection of instruments to choose from.
Had them set up my old Martin Sigma 12 string. Its 32 years old and had been in my closet for at least a decade. Badly in need of work they did a fantastic job on it. I truly believe that it sounds as good as new if not better! For less than 100 bucks it was money well spent. Thanks guys!
This place is the best! My kids have been taking lessons here for 4 years and they love it. The staff is always nice and helpful and the teachers truly care about their students and their learning. Every teacher is very knowledgeable about their instrument(s) so you can be sure that you or your child is getting quality lessons. If youre looking for something in their store and they dont have it there theyll be sure to order it and get it for you. They also make sure that you or your student have a chance to practice and gain more experience with your instruments all year long with their great summer programs. My family loves 1st Street.
Very professional and knowledgeable. Great place for anything music!
Decided to sell my 2017 fender Stratocaster and a spider four amp which probably retail together for about $600 they offered me 175 I counter offered 200. Then when the manager came she just said no altogether. Thatβs fine theyβve lost all my business I was gonna buy $1000 guitar and I was gonna take music lessons from them now I will do neither I went right up the road I sold it for 400 good for them. I will also tell all of my friends not to shop there and I have many.
Great staff and many available services. Plenty of music books, great variety, and selection of merchandise.
Super helpful and a wealth of knowledge! Everything from picking up some new gear, music lessons, or super technical stuff about sound/lighting installations. They can do it all!
Friendly, helpful staff and instructors. Great local store.
My two times being to this store have been a mixed bag. The first time i went I received some of the best service Iβve ever had at a guitar store. The gentleman helping me was enthusiastic, sincere, and a huge help with finding gear and getting suggestions. This Saturday i went though and it was absolutely terrible. Both the men working acted like overly reluctant Walmart employees when helping me (I was there to buy a guitar) and treated me like a nuisance. When actually finding a guitar and talking about purchasing it one of them walked away and went to the backroom and started loudly playing trumpet. The other gentlemen wasnβt any better when talking to him he just kind of ignored me. It was so bad I left and just got the guitar at a different store instead. Which is a real shame because it left a terrible taste in my mouth despite my first visit being so great.
Very friendly and professional staff!!First Street has an amazing selection of instruments.
Very helpful and knowledgeable
This is a great store, tons of instruments, and a very friendly staff! They offer music lessons for a variety of instruments and vocal lessons as well. Prices are high, but you get what you pay for.
Just gonna give 5 stars cuz everyone else is lol but i just wanted to ask whats the best Acoustic Guitar and lowest price for one? Because ive been playing my whole life and never really took lessons and learned by ear but i ended up losing it when i was 15 it was my moms and someone stole it when i lived in vermont but yeah if you had a webpage id be more then happy to look at it but i guess asking for prices would work
Over priced for what you get. Cheaper in liveoak . More selection. Or better to buy online
Excellent staff, good selection of gear and instructors for any instrument you could want to play.
I took my clarinet to be repaired over Christmas break. All it needed was some pads and corks replaced. It took them TWO WEEKS to get it back to me. When I finally did get it back, they had only replaced ONE of the corks they had been asked to (they marked at least three that needed replacing), and NONE of the pads. For that one single cork, they charged $27.
It was like you could expect lines of music supplies music playing of all different kinds I got strings and a guitar from them and will go back
Customer service was great
I bought a Yamaha Arius 142 from them. They even delivered it to my home the same day. Thats over the top customer service!
