As with any repair shop ask for your old parts back. Get a written itemized estimate. And check the work before picking up the boat Boat was repaired in a little over a week. Mechanic was up front, the more technical the work make sure mechanic knows how to do the work.

I have purchased a NEW Bass Boat from Hudson Discount Marine several years ago as well as had several boats serviced by them & have always been pleased.The parts & accessories prices in their show room are the best in the local area.Great friendly folks to deal with & their boats & service are reasonable.I currently have another bass boat that I purchased used being serviced by them now & expect the same quality service as I have received in the past.I send anyone locally who ask for someone to service their boats or do minor repairs to Hudson Discount Marine in Lake City,Florida because I think they are trustworthy & have always done me right. {:>)

They had my boat for 6 or more weeks. They kept going out of state on emergencies but never seemed to be able to fix my boat. It is not delivering fuel to the carbs. During the time it was there the safety pin that keeps the tongue latch from opening was ripped off the trailer and is gone and the battery went dead. No one even bothered to tell me the battery was completely dead. Then one of the owners raised his voice with me telling me he could have charged lots more since its legal to charge for TRYING but FAILING to fix the boat. I suggest if you actually want competent mechanics working on your boat that you do not bring it here. Im sorry I cant give a zero star.
