My daughters best friend and I brought my daughter here as part of a scavenger hunt (part of her batchelorette party). The item here was a red velvet cupcake from the Red Queen herself (Alice in Wonderland themed).

Was very disappointed. No regular sized cupcakes. Mini sized for $2.00 ea. About $1.00 a bite. Was hoping it was going to be delicious for the price but that didnt happen. The red velvet and strawberry was very dry. The icing was a bit grainy . Just not worth the price. Service was good and she was kind but if we are going to pay premium prices, I expect premium product.

They make cute items with intersting treats, I feel like I only see the specials for the day on facebook a day after they are posted which is unfortunate. Nothing about the taste has been mind blowing and some of it tastes like something is weird about it, not sure if they try to keep it gluten free or what the deal is, but a lot of the products just taste strange and I cant finish it. But its a local sweet shop, so Id rather keep it around than not. The owners seem very nice and they have a good local following.

Holly is AWESOME.While visiting relatives in Lake City, they never had/heard of cake pops. Looking online for something in the area, we stumbled across Sugar.We gave it a shot, and boy, oh boy, Im so GLAD we did. The banana pudding cupcakes are to die for and the cake pops, my word, to good to be true.As of this moment, SUGAR is our go to spot, when we make our frequent visits to Lake City.PSLemon Macaroons are my new guilty pleasure.Thanks Holly

I have been coming to this bakery for years and have yet to be disappointed. I have been to other cupcake shops in surrounding cities, but this one tops the list for me. Especially being a local establishment, I treasure small businesses and the Garners have done an excellent job!! Keep it up!

If your looking for amazing cupcakes or a theme cake this is the place. I recommend the inside out peanbutter, the maple bacon or the chocolate stout and bacon. In the end i have not found a flavor that was not amazing.
