I started to have a problem with the CVT transmission on my 2007 Sentra. I was losing power when I pressed the accelerator. This was happening after I had driven a long distance. Was to get home.The following day I went to All-Star to find out if they could help. I explained to them what was happening. They had an idea of what was causing it. They Changed the transmission fluid. Made sure it was fill up properly, with the right kind of fluid as well as the amount needed. Also, they changed my coolant as well. I drove home later that day and it seemed to work fine. Since that day I have had no problems driving around in the local area. The trans seems to have a lot of pep to it as well.The big test will be to take it on a long trip. That wont happen till November. I am extremely happy with the service I received from the people at All-Star. I will continue to use them for other maintenance as it comes up in the future.

Daniel and his team are great. Very reliable and honest. I had a big repair on my car I had been delaying due to the price other places had quoted me, but Daniel explained every part of the repair and what it would cost ahead of time. Normally getting my car fixed is a headache but here it is very straightforward. Definitely bringing my car back when it needs service!

Highly recommend. Went in for an oil change and it was done within an hour. We had a cheap sticker stuck on the windshield that I hadnt got around to and I brought it up just as conversation and they kindly removed it. It was such a small yet considerate gesture. The owner is extremely charismatic and customer service was excellent. They are also very pro-law enforcement and patriotic. Will definitely come back if I ever need anymore car maintenance/repair.

I was in town, not expecting to go to an auto repair shop, when all of a sudden my low tire pressure light came on. I was near a tire store that I have used before, but they were closed. I figured I would try All Star Automotive. I asked the manager who was very personable, if they could help, and he had a mechanic come over and help me out. He not only aired the tire that was low, he checked ALL tires and topped then off to the correct pressure. He also pointed out that I had a screw in the tire that was low, causing the leak. When he was done, I offered him a tip for his assistance, but he refused, telling me it was no problem. With their customer service helping a non paying customer was first-class. I will definitely use them when I need work on my cars.

This was a walk-in arrangement. Saw this place from the roadside showing it specializes in Engines and Transmissions. I needed my Mercedes Benz looked at because it was misfiring. Looking at the yard, different models of cars, including classics, were parked there for repairs. It felt safe to trust the workmanship and so glad I did. Daniel, the dedicated owner and his staff were simply wonderful and not greedy with the bill. They even offered a loaner or shuffle. Although I was made to pay upfront for the estimated cost, whatever costs beyond that, Daniel paid for at no charge to me as long as they were within what we agreed to be repaired. Fixed my car, washed and cleaned it and it now runs great. I am so thankful and would highly recommend to any car owner.

All Star Automotive is excellent! I have taken my cars here many times. They are very competent, professional, and personable.As the owner of a service business, I can appreciate the struggle to always deliver a perfect service. There fact is, no one gives a perfect service 100% of the time. All Star Automotive had made mistakes, sure, but they make it right--plus some. I appreciate how difficult it is to produce a consistently high quality (though probably never quite perfect) level of service, and how well All Star Automotive does exactly that.You will NEVER find a perfect mechanic shop, but All Star Automotive is definitely a FANTASTIC shop.Reasonable people will never be disappointed here.

Unfortunately, while the shop seemed friendly and welcoming I did have a poor experience on the repairs side of things. I had an issue that was not resolved at all after two visits. The first visit was kinda expensive. The second visit they were seemingly kind and did not charge me for the work they said they did on a few components.However, once I was able to get the car to my regular mechanic he diagnosed the problem as something much simpler then All Star originally had and in the course of fixing it, had to replace some of the same components All Star said they had just serviced. My regular mechanics repair was done in one short visit and it did completely resolve the problem.All Star had poor communication. Both times I dropped the car off and went home to wait for a call with the diagnosis. Both times I had to call back just before closing to get an update as I hadnt heard anything. Each of those times they did have the diagnosis ready but had neglected to contact me and if I hadnt called before they closed I would have had to wait an extra day.Ive never left a negative review before but wanted to leave this one to give people a heads up that they might want to be careful to not be too trusting just because the shop is all friendly.A red flag I should have listened to- They quoted a price for me on my first visit over the phone and when I hesitated to consider it they instantly offered $50 off the price. I dont recall any other place offering a random discount like that and considering it later it seems underhanded as likely the first quote was overpriced.

Spent over $8k to get my truck running good took forever to get back and after I did get it on my way to Texas I had the same problem it was not fixed I’m still living with this problem after spending that kind of money!!!! All talk no quality outcome I don’t recommend this place specially any work worth more than an oil change if they can even do that right.didnt even step up to help me after all that money out of pocket.. 👎🏿🖕🏾

Had a bad clutch on my Scion FR-S. Dan and Mike where able to help me out and provide great customer service while doing so. I spoke to them and they were immediately able to quote out a price for the repair. Both made the process very easy and straight-forward.Once the repair was completed, Dan was able to show me the old parts and the extent of the damage on them. Explained why they didnt work anymore and what was actually going on when they were on the car. Very helpful service.

I refused unnecessary services for my girlfriends car and as a result she received minimum effort repairs and now feels cheated for over paying on parts and labor... I recommend going elsewhere. The mechanic and I struck a deal beforehand where he would replace my headlights too but instead, he replaced only the burnt one with a different color and left the other as is.To clarify, go elsewhere. Not worth the headache of thinking they never repaired your car and robbed you too.

When so-called full service auto repairs say they are such, that statement tends to be misleading. When I say misleading is that they only work on cars from 1995 to the present. Cars like mine, 1987 Chevy, the full Service auto repairs will not work on them and was told to take my car somewhere else. This recommendation as made not only by the small independent repair shops, but also by the Big 3, Chevy, Ford, and Chrysler.I live in Lake Elsinore and mass transit to Orange County does not exist. When I asked the City, They told me they could not help and hung up on me. There are no rental car agencies in the area because of stay at home order by the Gov., and forget the RTA they were of no help. I was at my wits end until I found All Star Automotive. Mr. Gonsales and his staff treated me exceptionally well and were very professional in fixing my cherished 1987 Chevy from the Mid -West. To see my car it doesnt look like much, but was my deceased Fathers car has great sentimental value. If you ask me whether I would recommend ALL - Star, I would emphatically say, YES. You will never regret it.

If you’re looking for an honest mechanic then this is the place to go! Really and truly!! We took our vehicle in last Saturday for a diagnostic test. We were quoted for a few things one being a rebuilt transmission $4200.00 which was actually a fair price for the work (I checked) long story short, we picked it up today and the transmission just needed to be repaired not rebuilt, we paid 2/3 upfront and were to pay balance when we picked it up! Not only was Daniel honest about what he had done, we were refunded a portion of what we already paid. “Proverbs says, do the right thing “ is what he said to us when we picked it up! I won’t go anywhere else from now on.

This was my first time at All Star Automotive and I am very pleased. Danny is very friendly, professional, efficient and a man of his word. He is not out to take advantage of you like I have experienced with most mechanics in the past. He truly just wants to fix your car and make sure you are satisfied in return. I have already recommended him to my family and I will be returning for any services that need to be done on both of my vehicles.

Service at this place is unbelievable. My car broke down on my way home (120 miles away). I was in desparate need to get to my kids. I called about 15 auto shops hoping for someone to tell me it can be fixed same day. All I heard was it is too late or we do not have required part. Until I spoke to owner of All Star Automotive. He simply told me Do not worry about anything, come here and we will take care of you. He and his team were waiting for me when my tow truck arrived. It took them no time to order part from neighboring store and replace it. I was shocked by their incredible and fast service. I was on my way to my 1 year and 2.5 years old daughters shortly. Had an EVAP leak on my 2000 Jeep Wrangler which I couldn’t find without a smoke test. All Star Auto found it, fixed it, and tested the complete EVAP system at a reasonable price. 5-star work and customer service. This is a good shop that is difficult to find these days.

My one and only mechanic that i have learned too trust. If you like to support local business owners i highly recommend trying this company if u have any car troubles that need too be addressed.

I had a fuel leak of some kind.. not sure the reason.. i took my car in without an appointment and Dan the owner was very friendly and helpful. they took a look and then determind it was the fuel pump and theyd have to remove the fuel tank.. to replace it... they offered me a ride home.... At the end of the day my car was fixed and they were very accommodating with the 3 rides back and forth.. i was pleased with the service and i will recommend them to a friend. I am happy with their pricing labor discounted for cash only because I did bring my own parts.They accepted my new parts own. If you want to save more then bring your own parts first you need to know what problems your car is first.I compared their pricing to other places here is more reasonable honest as well as they have WIFI and TV sofa I can watch while I wait. They did replace and install the A/C condenser and recharging new frenon. I am so pleased with their straightforward and honest.It was done on 5/19 job. I would highly recommend anyone check this place first and you can compare as well as I am coming back for other issues my car need to replace new starter.

I brought my car in expecting the worst news possible about what was wrong with it. The news wasnt good, but Daniel said he would take care of it. He gave me an estimate and after pricing everything out, he found out that $1700 estimate was as high as $500 short of what it should be. Instead of upping his price to $2200, he kept his word. Ive had the car for a couple of days and it has been running great. I couldnt be happier with the work they did. The engine sounds like it did when it was a newer model car.

Great prices, Friendly service, Free shuttle service, Free car wash... this is the type of place you feel like you are truly family. We stumbled upon this place after visiting Auto Zone and realizing the starter might be out. The owner of All Star treated us like we were already family. He gave us a terrific price on some additional work that was desperately needed and we hadnt yet done due to the $2K quotes (100K mi service on an Acura TL), and he was able to do everything for half the cost. He offered us a free ride home and called promptly with any questions or updates, and never spoke poorly about any of his competitors nor did act pompous - just a down-to-Earth family-man who just simply wanted to take care of his customers. We will definitely be back!

Took my honda there to get checked out, they told me for the Dianostic it would be $29.00.. but once they found out the problem and I just couldnt have the car fixed because the motor was bad. The Owner said dont worry about the fee, its on me.. great people...highly recommend

Saw this place and wanted to see if they sold an axle for my Jeep. Before I even got near the store, an older lady in a beat-up truck filled with trash to the ceiling everywhere except the driver seat started barking orders at me about getting away. I asked her if she worked there and she said she was security. It turns out they were closed today, but I couldnt even get close enough to the door to see that the hours were posted before I was harassed. A very poor way to treat a potential customer. I will not be returning when theyre open even to see if they have the part that I actually pretty badly need.

It is hard enough to find a honest, knowledgeable and trust worthy mechanic these days, but too find one that doesnt charge a higher than average price to do the repairs is almost unheard of !!!.But I can say that at All Star Automotive Center not only did they do the job thoroughly and at a more than a fair price, they were very courteous and respectful to me from beginning to the end. They are also one of the very few mechanics I have seen that know the newer generation Hybrid motors and dont make a huge deal about working on them. MOST HYBRID OWNERS ARE STUCK WITH THE DEALERSHIP WHEN IT COMES TO HYBRIDS AND MAN DOES THAT GET EXPENSIVE but All Star didnt even hesitate and made no fuss about working on my 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid and did an excellent job, they replaced my entire engine in less than 3 days at and it was 30% below what I anticipated and did as good of a job as anybody could possibly expect. My car is like brand new, I have had similar work done(engine replacements) on 2 other vehicles I have owned and the work All Star did is by far the best I have ever had.Thank you All Star Automotive for exceeding my expectations, Trace
