This place is weight bias at the extreme. Was very rude to an overweight lady that came in and wanted her to wear a mask which she had complied to. Then 3 other skinny people came in and they didn’t have masks and the employee didn’t care. She was really nice to them this is very low class of them and they lost my business. Won’t be coming here again because I don’t support businesses that do this to people.

What an interesting find in the middle of a totally unexpected place. Drinks are good. I do liked the smoothies, mango tango and mangonado. Kiss of Dragon was interesting. Most of the servers were pleasant. Boba was fresh. The only issue was that the cups were unstable due to small round bottoms.

Honestly I can’t keep track how many times I’ve been here. Became an all time regular since Jan 2019. Hands down my favorite!!! The honey boba here is phenomenal. Sweetness is just right in every drink. Sooo much variety to choose from. Not going to lie, I live 2 hours away now but I always make the commute to come straight to Pengo. Absolutely delicious drinks and I will support them in every way I can.This goes for this location and the Laguna Hills. You are amazing and my all time favorite. Staff no matter what has been wonderful! Fast and efficient service every time. Wish I reviewed sooner.

This is delicious + cuteness overload! The drinks are yummy, the boba has a good texture, they make the fruit drinks with San Pellegrino, theres a variety of fruit drinks as well as milk teas. The bottles are adorable and reusable. Plus, they sponsor the local high school, and I was told theres discounts to students. Yummy drinks, and very refreshing on a hot day.

Laguna Hills Pengo Drink Station makes this Lake Forest location look like a bunch of frauds. The Watermelon Chiller I got here tasted like they just threw some blended (not very well) watermelon over hard undercooked pieces of boba. It was gross. I’m used to my Laguna Hills Pengo location who perfectly crafts and flavors their drinks. Highly recommend skipping this location and heading over to the Pengo in Laguna Hills instead. 0 out of 10 would not recommendEdit 3 months later: Someone must be reading our reviews because the staff here at this location finally took some pride in their drink craft and stepped up the quality. Ive noticed that the drinks have been consistently getting better when I dare go to this location in a pinch. This location is still nowhere near touching the 5-star Laguna Hills location, but I can tell management has been fine tuning the staff, weaving out the bad apples, and working out some kinks in their operations which I can appreciate tremendously. ***However, I read in one of the recent reviews here that the young black woman was fired which is a shame because she was one of their few employees who was actually warm, friendly, and attentive to me each time I visited with her being there.*** I find myself returning here more often due to the fabulous recent changes. Yesterday 2 of my 4 drinks were missing the literal boba (lol the only reason I give them my money and come here for), so I plan on returning them today and asking for them to be redone soo well see what they say...

I tried the House Special Milk Tea with boba. It comes in a nice, glass bottle that you can keep and reuse. They use a little too much ice. The flavor, however, was great. The boba had just the right consistency. This place doesnt have a huge variety but its worth a visit if you just want a good, basic milk tea.

They have bad costumer service. I watched one young lady pick up something from the floor and put it in my drink. I also overheard the manger forcefully telling one of their employees that they’re fired in front of the whole store. My honest opinion I believe she was fired because she was black I spoke to the young lady outside while she was crying and gave me the full story on how she was being mistreated at this place.

Seen a roach on a table and i was truly disgusted! The boba and drink quality is HORRIBLE. Employees are rude and and dont know how to treat customers .Terrible terrible customer service and unsanitary. This location will never be seeing me again!

First time here and was very happy. My son was craving boba so I just searched and found this highly rated shop conveniently close. One boy got the green matcha shake - this was very good, strong green tea flavor (sometimes matcha gets a little “earthy”). Other boy got mango tango - was very nice, not too sweet more of a citrus mango. I got the signature honey milk tea. Almost like a caramelized smoky flavor to the honey, was soooo good. Great size and texture for the boba, staff was pleasant and helpful. Price is great for size and quality of drinks. Forgot to get pix! But will definitely be back, especially now that I’ve got the apps and signed up for rewards program.

I enjoy coming here often and enjoy their smoothies and teas..but today as I show up close to their closing time they all seem to be standing there hoping no one comes in...I stop by and ask if it’s to late to order and tell me they are about to close...the way they looked at me as if they didn’t want me to order was very uncomfortable...won’t be coming to this location anymore

Love this place! Friendly staff with big smiles!My granddaughter actually works at the El Toro station where we stopped. When we are in the area we usually stop by when she is working. She is always so proud to serve us and she told us that she loves her job there.

Pengo!!! So good.. you can pick a tea, juice sparkling, blended, even a coffee style drink and add a variety of mix ins like boba etc. Drinks average $5 to $6 and come in a cool glass container or larger plastic one. Super unique with chai seeds love it and so far weve liked the ones weve tried. Line gets long so go on off peek hours in my opinion are mid morning and dinner time. Enjoy!

Highly recommend this boba place

I instantly fell in love with this place! The price is same as all other tea and boba places, but their containers are amazing! And their selection is great as well. I ordered their house special with boba. I liked how it was sweet, but not overly sweet like other places. Its too bad they ran out of the glass containers. I was thinking of ordering a fruity drink with chia. I will definitely be back 👍

We go there at least three times a week with my kids and we always get the best service.

Ordered 4 different drinks and they were all so yummy. I can’t wait to go here again. Definitely the best boba around.

I love this place! Its so cute and pretty, and its the perfect place to come if you want to hang out with your friends. The House Special Milk Tea is delicious, and its perfectly sweetened! The tea also comes in the cutest little bottle, which you get to keep. The service was fast and the employees were very kind. The only thing I dislike is how crowded it is often, but obviously thats not very preventable.
