We had a blast cruising around Lake Havasu on rental pontoon and off roading UTV around! These folks have been totally amazing both times we have rented from them! Christine is the owner and she was very cordial, accommodating and sweet! It was a slow day so she upgraded us to a nicer boat without us even asking, Their equipment is in good condition and we were given ample time to go over the controls, etc and time to ask questions. They are located right at Havasu State park and are super easy to get to. Very nice, clean and friendly!! A++ in my book!!

Employees were very friendly and professional. Young man that brought out the boat and gave explained operation of boat was thorough. Launch was smooth. Our pontoon broke down mid day. Called for help and they sent someone out to get us going. He couldnt, so a different guy brought us a replacement pontoon. All of that took an hour and a half. When we turned boat in at end of day, the boss offered a very fair compensation. The pontoon was in excellent shape! Nearly new condition. Highly recommend this business.

We rented a pontoon boat on Labor Day weekend. The ladies in the office were super nice and make check-in smooth and speedy. The young man who helped us load up and drop us in the water was very nice as well, you could tell he liked his job. The radio on the boat didnt work and without missing a beat he offered a Bluetooth speaker, which worked out great. My husband had no experience driving a boat but everything was explained and we had a wonderful day in the lake. At the end, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the company. He was patient with us as we had trouble loading into the trailer. Great service, nice people and a great boat.

We rented two side by sides for a full day and had a blast! The check-in process was relatively painless. One of our machines blew a tire, which cost us $200, but I consider that a fair deposit for the use we got out of them for a full day and I didnt have to change it myself. Would rent again.

We rented a pontoon (tritoon) boat for two days for our visit to Lake Havasu The guys were great about launching the boat and getting it back on the trailer at the end of our trip. Another great feature was they fill the boat up at the end of your trip at the gas station. This saves the renter a lot of money versus filling up on the lake. Our fellow was very helpful and knowledgeable explaining the boat to us. They were also great about practicing social distancing and wearing masks as well in the middle of this COVID pandemic. I highly recommend using them for renting a boat at Havasu. Make sure you reserve in advance as they sell out quickly.

They crew were nice,and helpful.But some of the equipment was old one jet ski didnt showed the speed.And the speaker of boat didnt work.

Booked a tritoon boat with friends. Had a great time exploring the lake. They were helpful finding the different places to visit on the lake. Returned the boat and had snacks that fell onto the floor of the boat. Asked the employee towing us in got us a broom to sweep it off. Saved us the $125 cleaning fee! Would recommend!

We were notified Saturday evening (prior to our Sunday pickup) that our planned rental jetboat returned by the previous person was damaged/un-usable! we definitely were disappointed, but we planned on taking a different wakesetter prop boat instead. upon arrival Sunday (to discuss options/to switch boats), the owner informed us we were able to secure a similar jetboat and that made our day!!! during the trip a rope got stuck @ the jet, so we notified them, and the owner pulled in after hours to facilitate our return to the water before sundown!!! thanks so much sir! we will definitely rent from Wet Monkey again.

Horrible place to rent water vessels from. Customer service is completely horrible. Our wave runner broke down within an hour of renting it out and changed the dynamic of our trip. After calling wet monkey, they proceeded to tell us to just tow it back. I and my family will never return and rent from this company!!! Save your time I promise!! The attitude and unwillingness to assist was deeply disappointing.

Rented a pontoon boat for the day. Everything was great! Boat ready when we arrived launched at the state park and we were off. provided a map and recommended some coves to beach at. 5 adults and 2 kids had plenty of room and were very comfortable.

I called the last minute for a pontoon rental on a Friday and Saturday rental and spoke with the owner Chris, we ended up with a almost brand new looking pontoon and the rate was comparable or less to anyone else we called. It definitely would rent from him again.

The owner of this place and all his staff are very rude. Please rent anywhere else. Our jetski broke down in the middle of the lake and when we called for help their employees put us on hold for a while and told us to tow the jetski ourselves!! Then when discussing what happened the owner argues aggressively and they are NOT taking responsibility of their horrible customer service and their employees asking us to tow a broken down jetski back to them?if they really cared about the safety of their customers and their equipment they would Send real help for that type of stuff. don’t ask paying customers to figure it out on their own otherwise they will be stranded in the middle of the lake where the phone reception is horrible and not know what to do. When people call for help tell your lazy employees to SEND help! It’s that simple. After various calls they eventually sent for help that we paid $200 for. The owner who was upset about how the jetski situation was handled with my friend who rented it, took his anger out on me too and decided to charge me $250 for “damage” on the boat. I asked for before and after pictures and he said “let’s not even get into that” . Save yourself the headache and rent anywhere else.

Im sorry I crashed the tritoon. I was not expecting a $800 charge which I knew that was the penalty. I never saw a man so worked up over a door, its not going to cost & $800.On the 9th I get a call from Chris @ 8:15an asked me if was going to take the boat out, I told him no wasnt going pay another $800, and he sounded pretty relieved then tells me I owe another $125 for the cover I lost on the river. I never saw it to begin with & I helped put it up, the tone of Chris response was very rude.$2,179 for a tritoon that I used 1 day of a 2 day rental. Im a veteran & I appreciate the discount you gave me. I would hope you would return the 1 day rental, I can only assumed you rented it back out. My grandkids had a great time on the lake.....but not @ the lot. My 14yo granddaughter was upset when she seen me fall, Thank God I didnt hit my head. Im sorry I broke the door,  I didnt sink it.

The staff is awesome!!! But the pontoons are definitely in need of TLC. Ive rented multiple times and theres always been some things wrong,broken, missing with each trip.

My husband and I rented a really fun Thunder Jet Boat from Wet Monkey for a day. We where greated by a friendly employee that told us about some of the boats. He was concerened about the wind though for our safety but he said to go into the office and see if they would let boats go out. The owners wife so nice and explained everything and helped us select the best boat. The owner came out and stated his concern for us because of the wind but explained what we should do once we got on the water and where the best place to go to get away from the ruff stuff. We where then taken care of by a really nice employee that took us by the gas station to load up on drinks and snacks (which he didnt have to do) then he took us to the water. He stayed there until we where off and running on the water. The boat was amazing and we where able to go and do everything we wanted. We where able to ride on the lake from 9:30am till 5pm for our money but we ran low on fuel at 4pm so we called the office and he came and got us right away. It was a quick transition in and we thanked him with a tip! Great company! We will be back!

We rented a ski boat for a half day on January 28 and had a very good experience. This is a family business and they couldn’t have been nicer and transparent of the cost, deposit and rules. It was very value priced at only $217 including tax. Another plus is that after we were done, they took us and the boat to a local service station to refuel vs. charging us for expensive fuel at a marina. Everything went as expected including the $800 deposit shown as pending on my credit card, fell off after a few days. The only con was the boat itself was in pretty bad shape - beat up inside and out, the steering was VERY loose making it difficult for us to get it back on the trailer, and the outdrive had an apparent leak causing the sump pump to continuously cycle on and off. These are maintenance issues that should be addressed, or perhaps they are about to replace the boat...?

Airbnb last minute canceled my entire trip and deleted my account a day before my trip to Havasu with no one explanation. I explained the whole situation to Wet Monkey and instead of working with me they made it difficult and basically told me they don’t care and im still responsible.I know they have a 7 day cancellation but In my case they could have helped me out especially knowing my whole vacation is ruined.Now im out 600 dollars.Worst customer service ever! Do not rent boats from here.

Best customer service, they made me feel very comfortable renting from them. Dont let the name fool theres no monkey business here lol there legit and good prices as well. Due to the heat my wife felt a bit sick in the lake and when I called the front desk they immediately came to the docking area to pick her up and my kids and I remained on the lake for the rest of our rental times. Good people there at wet monkey would rent again from them.

Good company that takes care of their clients and good service. Called to make a reservation and the young lady had me make the reservation online but was very helpful walking me through it. We were three adults and two teens who rented a pontoon boat for half-day on June 2. Initially we e-mailed/called around trying to find a place that did partial-day rentals because we werent sure if we wanted to be out full day/pay full day pricing. Wet Monkey was one place that we were actually able to reach a person to talk with about our options. Although they only make reservations for full-day rental, we were directed we could go in the morning to check availability for partial-day. We went for when they opened and were able to do a four hour rental. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, including giving some recommendations for where to go when we were out on the lake. We unfortunately went to the wrong boat ramp initially when we were returning the boat and they were helpful getting us to the correct one. The boat itself was great and we all loved being on the water. We definitely plan to go back and would use Wet Monkey without hesitation.

This place was amazing in the start! They have great vehicles! Now comes the bad part! When we came back we wanted to return a bit early! But they want it exactly on time! So we had to wait out there in the hot burning sun for 30 minutes and it DID NOT go well! We filled up the gas tank but not all the way so they charged us 25 dollars extra for a wave runner! The prices were good other than that! There returning service is super bad! Other than that I highly recommend this place!

Rented a 4 seater UTV for a day, machine was exceptionally clean and maintained. Ran perfectly for the day, paperwork was relatively painless. Experience was good with them, I would recommend if you’re looking for a place to rent from.

Good place to rent from. our pontoons stereo wasn’t working they said they would get us a portable stereo but that wasn’t working either. so we used our own portable speaker. other than that never had a problem renting from them over the last 6 years.

We rented their 2020 tritoon (pontoon) boat. Their prices were fair, I called several other rental spots before booking. The boat was powerful compared to other boat rentals in the area for the same style boat. The company also allowed me to keep the boat overnight. We docked it at the heat Hotel I could be on our own time schedule.

Online setup was easy. Checking in and checking out was quick. Rented a Can Am 4 seater side by side and it functioned correctly. We had a blast in the desert trails. I would recommend Wet Monkey to anyone.

I frequently rent from multiple places in Havasu and this will be final time I rent from wet monkey due to poor customer service.The initial booking was easy with an option to pay in full or a $25 deposit at booking and full payment at boat pickup.When I arrived for pick up, I first walk past the service area before getting to the main door. I arrived early at 8:00am, and was quickly corrected by the owner who told me they don’t open till 8:30am and to wait at the front door. When I tried to ask questions, he again repeated that they don’t open till 8:30am and I needed to wait. He noticed my expression and commented, “I don’t mean to be a d***, but we are busy.”Once they opened at 8:30am, paperwork was quick then they told me to give the paperwork to the guys working outside in order to do the walk through. As we did the walk through with the young lady, the owner decided to come over again to make a point to tell me this was a $60,000 boat and he would personally do the walk through when it returned to check for any damage. I blew it off as an ignorant comment and continued about our day. For some background and context, I’ve been a boat owner for over 10 years and have driven many types of boats ranging from small entry level boats to high end luxury boats. If the owner took the time to know his customers, he would have preferred me to take care of his boat instead of viewing me as someone to worry about.When we returned to the dock at 4:30pm; our scheduled time for pick up, I called in to let them know we made it. After waiting at the dock for 20min, I called again and they said they sent them out to get us. After another 30min, they came to pick us up and drove us to get gas, then back to the check in area.Poor time management from planning pickups is another area that needs improvement at wet monkey. Why do you ask customers to be there at 4:30, when you don’t have capacity to service your customers for another hour later.At the final walk through, the owner walked over, but didn’t greet us nor ask how our time on the water was. He started to check areas of the boat and grabbing our things to rush us off the boat. When I started talking to him about the long wait, he blew it off and said, “we are busy, there are a lot of boats we are dealing with here.”In the end, we removed our things, and the staff driver drove the boat off, back to the parking area. As I was standing there waiting for a final “all clear” or something to confirm our transaction was successful without issues, I had to yell from a distance to the owner who was walking away, “are we done here, is the boat to your standards?” He turned around, paused and said, “we’re good,” as he quickly continued to walk away.I do not recommend wet monkey.There are many good options to rent from good local business owners in Lake Havasu City.

We rented the Orange Beast Pontoon June 26th, we had a blast. The boat ran great and we had no problems. The employees were super nice and helpful. We had a great experience. This place was amazing!!!!!! our boat rental was last min cancelled due to the dam being shut off...i called and they had one boat left! and they have a 1st responder DISCOUNT! over all it was a great experience. we will always rent from wetmonkey from now on!!!!!!!

The staff was very polite and helpful. We needed to change the reservation date because of bad weather so they gave us a voucher that could be used any time within a one year period. We finally had some good weather and easily used the voucher. The Jet Boat was mechanically sound and in good condition for a rental unit. A few blemishes but no bid deal. The guy that launched us was helpful and informed us how to operate the boat and how to navigate the lake buoys etc. Four stars is not five because of the security deposit and reservation deposit process. The reservation deposit is not applied to the rental cost so the deposit is an added cost. This was explained to me so no surprise. The security deposit is somewhat confusing but all worked out in the end. Takes a few days to clear the credit card. I would use them again for a rental.

The prices are competitive with all other places I researched in Lake Havasu City, but the advantage is they are right on the lake and can drop your boat in the water in a few minutes. I also rented several toys, wakesurf, tube, skis, etc. They all worked great. I rented the Jet boat and the Wakesetter each for 2 days. I enjoyed the wakesetter much more. The jet boat was loud and leaking oil but overall my experience wasnt ruined by it.

Love this place! They are so easy to rent from. Fair and honest. I have rented from other places but this is my favorite because they know their equipment and its good. Chris, the owner, took his time explaining the best places to boat this past Summer and then this Winter I rented one of his off-road cars. What a blast. Chris took us out to the desert and showed us the best places to go. Will definitely come back.

We’ve had equipment breakdown issues 2-years in a row with Wet Monkey. Last year a jet ski steering piece fell off, requiring us to tow the ski 3-miles. This year the steering bar grips they installed on a ski we’re inexpensive/low quality and left black greasy stains on our hands. So we lost 30-minutes swapping the ski jet for another. The 24’ Bayliner ski boat we also rented had the key/ignition switch fall apart, preventing the engine from turning off. After waiting 45-minutes for them to look at it, we were offered a smaller boat, which would require us waiting another 30-45 minutes. They instead showed us a questionable way to temporarily get it to work. It was worth the risk using it that way not to lose more time off the water, but I would rather not be in that position again. Their previous attempt at repairing it, instead of properly replacing the switch, caused the failure i experienced. Overall, they’re not maintaining their equipment properly. I was supposed to receive a call from the owner about my lost time on the water, which i wanted a credit for, but did not receive the call I called him instead and never received a call back. My suggestion is to find a more reliable rental company who properly maintains their equipment to safely enjoy your vacation time on the lake.

My daughter and I went in to check prices and times for her and my husband. The women in the office were amazing. We scheduled for later in the day. We showed up for our scheduled time, they picked out their life jackets, the driver pulled around, does an overlook by taking pictures and marking paper work and they hopped on the jet ski. The launch is right there so he just pulls in, and off they go. Convenient and if it werent for the weather changing they would have had a great time. Now if you are looking for brand new perfect condition equipment then probably shouldnt rent. Ours was in great shape and the gentlemen who checked us in (Troy, trey..something with a T) was very thorough. Now the check out was a little different. We had to deal with another gentleman and he was all over the place. We sat around waiting unsure of what to do. We turned in our life jackets and finally he said we were free to go. I asked about deposit and he explained. Overall a great experience and I only knocked off a star for the check out process. They have to pictures and all they have to do is compare it. The pontoon the gave us was a PILE!!!!! It was almost undriveable and was falling apart!!! And on top of it THEY MADE US TOP OFF THE GAS!!!! I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE!

We rented a ski boat one day and a pontoon boat the next, communication was great with the employees . It is so easy to park in their lot, load your boat and they launch and recover you at the end of your day . We will rent from them again

First off I want to thank Reyna, Travis and Christina for the great and friendly customer service. I called first thing in the morning and spoke with Reyna about renting an open bow. We had a soft reservation (I didnt give a deposit until my wife and I arrived) and when we got there the 21 boat we discussed had been rented already. No harm, no foul. It was busy (Spring break) but they upgraded us to a larger 24 for no additional charge. We had such a great time we went back 2 days later and rented another boat. Dont listen to every bad review you read. If you rent a used boat, dont expect a showroom quality. The majority of bad reviews Ive read here sounds like inexperienced drivers that arent familiar with the shallow areas of the lake and channel that are plainly marked. We had a wonderful experience and a great vacation. We will definitely rent from Wet Monkey when we return for memorial day. Thank you for everythingJosh Moore

We reserved a pontoon in April. They were friendly, helpful, very professional. Boat was in good shape, we had a great time. Family had so much fun we went back and rented jet ski also. Were would definitely recommend to others, and we plan on going back.

2 years in a row now on our annual July trip to Lake Havasu. We used to have a boat, we since we moved farther away from town, we now rent when we come into town. Last year we rented a deck boat. It was an extremely busy day for them, but they got all of the customers in line out very quickly and got us on the lake in no time. Its very convenient to load your stuff in their parking lot, leave your car there and get towed right to the water. The kids tubed all day and we didnt have to have the boat back until the evening. The driver was there waiting for us at the dock and towed us right to the gas station where we filled up. No inflated prices or anything. Then he dropped us and our stuff off right at our car. The experience was even better this year as they have moved their shop directly into Windsor State Beach (or immediately adjacent). This meant an even shorter trip to the launch. Process was the same, easy checkout, easy load and off load and easy fill up at the gas station a block up the street when we were done. A quick drop off of us and our stuff at the car made the day very fun, convenient and eventful. I would highly recommend this company for all your boat and personal watercraft rentals

WARNING! PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE STORY! The ending is the worst part of it all:We rented a Bayliner and a Malibu wakeboard boat. Showed up and the Malibu was not available. They said it was in the shop for repair. Not a huge deal but it would of been nice to get a phone call to let us know. Instead of the Malibu, Wet Monkey offered to give us a brand new 2020 boat. No wakeboard tower, which was a little disappointing because that was the main reason for renting the Malibu. However, the bayliner had a tower so we tried to make the best of it. Right when we got on the water the radio on the Bayliner would turn off after ever chop we hit. Next the tower started coming off due to a loose bolt. To keep it from flapping around we had to keep hand tightening it every so often. Then we stopped for some wakeboarding. The bayliner has very poor power for getting riders up (making it very difficult for new riders). Not only that, but after a few runs the boat would stall after each fall coming around to reset the rider. There was one point where we thought we were going to have to call a tow. Thankfully we had boating experience and was able to get it running again.It was getting close to the end of our reservation so we headed to London bridge to unload and clean/vacuum the boats. We brought our own vacuum just to be diligent clean renters. Then we headed back to the dock where Wet Monkey was located. The winds were blowing at 30mph so parked on the dock and let the employees load the boats onto trailers. When we got back they inspected the boats. Everything was great except two small white 3-4 inch hairline scratches that were on the 2020s red sticker... Employee said it must of been from the dock. He sent the owner a picture and said it would be a $550 fine for the scratch. I told the employee that Id like to talk to him. I told him that $550 for two little dock scratches that youre not going to fixed anyway is a little steep. He then began to curse at me saying he is going to fix it and doesnt let his boats look like SH&$. (Except the bayliner was falling apart, had multiple rips in the seats, and had issues running...lol) He then tried put me in a corner and said that he can send it to the dealership. He can have the bill forwarded to me. However, Id have to also pay for the down time of the boat not being available to customers ($3-4K) The guy is a joke and a snake. Please stay away and take my story as a lesson learned experience. This is not a person you want to deal with. Hell ruin your trip.

Awesome!! We rented two different boats on two different days. Both days boats were ready for pick up and they were waiting for us at boat dock at drop off time. No waiting and no surprises. Customer service was great and we were invoiced as per contract. The boats ran well and Big Mable was a hit for our teenage girls. The drivers were experienced and gave us excellent advice on where to go on the water since we are from Texas. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for a great ride!

Absolutely one of the best rental experiences I have had! The employees were friendly and overly helpful to accommodate any questions or needs. Our boat was in perfect condition and we experiencedno problems. Jr and Aaron were especially helpful and accommodating during both days of our two day rental. Considering that I had all of my paperwork in order before arriving on day one the boat was launched and we were in the water within 30 minutes. Day two was less than 20 minutes. They picked us this up at exactly the scheduled time each day at the docks. I will definitely rent from wet monkey again in the future and highly recommend them.

We rented a boat and a side by side. Walked in everything was ready. People were very good to work with. We may or may not of got lost in the desert made a phone call and they got us right back. Definitely will rent again if we ever make it back.

Hidden fees, bad customer service. One staff member says one thing the other says different. They recommend an off-road app to customers but no one seems to really know about it, the staff have never used it so they can’t really explain it to customers.

The Tritoon was the perfect way to explore Lake Havasu. Split with another family and was very affordable! My kids thought it was cool to say they tubed from Arizona to California. These guys were super easy to work with and the process went very smooth.

With Wet Monkey, boater beware! They are not concerned about your boating well being! They are strictly in it to turn a dollar:( I would not recommend them to anyone of any level or interest in boating and water activities! Over the phone we arranged to pick up our boat. Upon inspection, we found the boat to be hammered, and in poor condition inside and out, leaving us questioning whether it was water worthy! The ultimate in disgrace, was after asking why the captain chair was set so far away from the steering wheel, they replied “Don’t worry,” and picked it up like an empty box, and moved it closer!! The damn chair was not secured to the floor! Are you kidding me! It’s a accident waiting to happen! Hit the wrong wave, roll the chair, and all kinds of danger can occur! The owner/operator then told us, again “Not to worry, someone will rent this boat, we send it out all the time!”DON’T BE ONE OF THEIR LAWSUITS WAITING TO HAPPEN!I would rate them lower if I could....

Rented some jet skis today and could not have had a better experience. Chris the owner answered my call and even gave me a nice discount for renting multiple skis. A good time had by all. Cant wait to come back when it is a bit warmer.

BEWARE: WORST BOAT & JET SKI RENTAL EVER!!!If you would like a disgusting damaged / broken jet ski and boat with horrible customer service that only want to steal your money then this is the place to go! I would suggest that there is plenty of other rental areas near by that you should take your business to.

My husband and I visited Lake Havasu for the first time and we love to fish so we thought it would be nice to rent a fishing boat and go out on the lake all day one of the days we were there. So three months before our honeymoon, I reserved a fishing boat from Wet Monkey (Lucky Pirate Boat), they were the only boating company that had a small fishing boat.When my husband and I got there, they were very nice and welcoming and said they wanted to show us the boat before we paid because we may want to upgrade. When we looked at the boat it was very beat up, had spider webs everywhere and it was in a back corner, stuffed away behind boats and cars (not ready to be taken out by any means). They were banking on us upgrading and getting another boat; however, all I wanted was a small fishing boat to go fishing on the lake, nothing fancy so I told them I was fine with the fishing boat, it was only going to cost $125.After some time, they told my husband and I that they are unable to get the truck started that was in front of the boat and they also werent even sure they could get the boat started.....??? Would you not think they would have been prepared before we arrived? Or called us? All they said was that they could upgrade us to a pontoon boat (no thanks) but that it required a $800 security deposit, and that was the best they could do.Mind you, we were on our honeymoon, had never been to Lake Havasu, and had our whole day planned out to fish on the lake all day. Thanks Wet Monkey.So we googled a nearby boating rental and we were blessed to find Wild Wave. It was truly a blessing in disguise because Wild Wave is AMAZING! Right when we got there, there was a boat outside, a nice speedboat, and the gentlemen greeted us outside and brought us in as we described what happened at Wet Monkey (they were not surprised), and they said they could give us the boat for $225 all day, NO SECURITY DEPOSIT. I mean wow. We did not have reservations (obviously) and they had a boat ready for us, all day, for an amazing deal.If you are coming to visit Lake Havasu, and renting a boat, DO NOT GO TO WET MONKEY/LUCKY PIRATE! Save yourself the grief

I rented a pontoon over this past weekend. The entire staff was a GREAT ! We did have some damage to the boat. I talked to the Manager Chris, he was very understanding and worked out a very fair deal with me. I have no idea why anyone would give them less than a 4 star review. I have a great fair experience at Wet Monkey and I will be back!

Would give 0 Stars if possible! Worst boat rental experience ever! Do yourself a favor and go with another rental company. Owner appears to be a crook. Boat was old and looked dumpy, issues with gauges, holes in upholstery. Boat issues ruined our day. Company will try to keep your security deposit and employees are not enjoyable to work with AT ALL!***DO NOT RENT FROM WET MONKEY!***You will regret it!!

Wet Monkey has a beautiful facility that is located right by the launch ramps making our time on the river a pleasant experience. My biggest scare with going with another company was having down time.. being hauled to the launch ramps. We parked in Wet Monkeys parking lot, walked up and were able to load all our stuff onto the boat and load everyone and launch right there. The staff was friendly and thorough, they have a cute shop inside that is clean and carries the easy to forget necessities, including cute tanks and bikinis. Thank you to the gals behind the counter and to Christine who took our reservation. We will definitely be doing business with Wet Monkey on our next trip to Havasu.

Wet Monkey lost my initial reservation, and when I called back the prices had changed. Rental boats are not in the greatest shape. Torn upholstery, accessories and electronics missing screws and falling off. Im not very familiar with Havasu area. We were in a shallow channel and I did damage the prop. Apparently I also picked up a small rock. About an hour into our day the rock lodged itself in the prop and the motor died. Called Wet Monkey and they tried to troubleshoot over the phone with no luck. They sent someone to tow us back in. The tow boat arrived an hour later and told us he was almost out of fuel and would have to come back for us. So we waited another hour for him to return. No power, so we spent those hours drifting into the reids. Finally we started our tow back. About an hour into it the tow boat died also. Now we sat with the tow boat on the side of the river for another hour or so while we waited for another tow boat. Finally back on track. During this time my wife got upset and called Wet Monkey back to try and get another boat to swap so our day would not be ruined. She ended up arguing with the owners wife, at which point she hung up on my wife. I know the conversion was probably not going anywhere, but its still bad customer service to hang up on your customer. Especially when they are calling from a stranded boat in the middle of the river. Ended up taking about 5 hours by the time we got pulled out of the water. Ill admit, the prop damage was my fault. And the lodged rock was a freak thing. But at the end of the day we only got to use the boat for a little over an hour. And when we got back to the shop the owner handed me a $600 bill for the tow and prop. The best he would do for us is take $100 off that. Not to say the lost day was the fault of Wet Monkey, but we felt they could have been more fair with us in some of the fees. Heck, the side of the tow boat they sent said $79.99 annual membership, unlimited tows.

My husband and I have been renting pontoons from wet monkey going on 4 years now and getting ready to rent again at least twice for the 2013 season. Every boat we rent is kept clean and purring like a cat. The staff is great, friendly and that is why we keep going back year after year. Love getting the facebook posts on my phone. Thanks Wet Monkey for making our trips to Havasu fun and memorable. Well see you in May for our 1st trip in 2013.

We rented the Can-Am X3s for a few days while on vacation. The machines were in like new condition and the riding was awesome. The staff was great to work with. Will definitely rent again on our annual trip to Lake Havesu.

We were super excited to rent a boat for the day at Lake Havasu. We decided to go with wet monkey. About 30 minutes into our ride, the engine started smoking. We immediately killed the motor, anchored and called the owner of wet monkey. He instructed us what to do and where to go. He came and picked my family and the boat up. We are unsure what happened to the boat, however they gave us the option of getters no a pontoon or just getting our rental fee and deposit refunded to us. We were a little gun shy so we opted for the refund. The owners were very professional, kind and understanding. Even though it sucked we didn’t get to ride the river all day, it was a major relief that we were not blamed for the malfunction and given a full refund! My family and I went for Labor day weekend and their service was outstanding. Everyone was courteous and attentive to our needs. We will go back to Wet Monkey for now on.

Do not go to this business to rent a boat! We were visiting from Colorado with our family. They gave us a boat that need many repairs. The young boy that gave us the walk through told us we couldn’t do much more harm to it. The front gate/door was hanging off (screws exposed) thankfully my mom had a screwdriver. We were charged to fill up a tank that the gas tank was broken (company knew about this) and then they ran our card 3 times at which resulted in our account being over charged. When we asked for this to be fixed they were SO rude. The last call I was actually hung up on. Oh and to top it off, they told us they could rent to us that day because their printer wasn’t working so my husband had to fix it! So unprofessional and rude. Very sad to treat people in this way! I will never go back nor will I recommend this place to other that travel that way!!

Our family vacation to Havasu couldnt of been greater without Wet Monkey. Our pontoon was super awesome and the see-dos were the icing on the cake. From the time we were dropped off to the time of pick up wet monkeys staff were very accommodating and informative. We had a blast on Lake Havasu and cant wait to come back! We rented a pontoon due to an accident on our way to Lake Havasu and we couldnt use our boat. The rental was last minute and I couldnt say enough about the staff and boat that we rented. The boat was great and in great condition. The staff, I believe James and the others were so wonderful in making an unfortunate situation into a great trip. Thank you Wet Monkey.

I did not have a single problem with this business. For the most part employees were nice, everything went smoothly. Take care of the rental and make sure to know what your getting before hand.

Dont waste your time and come here! go somewhere else horrible customer service and old Equipment. These people are Crooks they charged us for a broken propeller that was already broke. They have no evidence of how it was before we took it out.... no pictures or nothing But yet charge us $250.

Not only are they disrespectful but they are liars too!!! I wrote a detailed review about exactly what happened and they replied with a pathetic response to try and make themselves look free from wrong. The management is 100% corrupt and they want anyway to steal your money. They have old boats, bad staff, damaged equipment AND THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU AND MAKE YOU PAY FOR THEIR ALREADY BROKEN EQUIPMENT.They don’t have a 2.9 rating for nothing😂 Ive never seen a place as pathetic and money hungry as this. (For potential customers thinking to rent, read my previous review about my experience). AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS if you want to enjoy your time at lake havasu. I would swim in the lake rather than rent one of their boats. If you have extra cash and feel like fixing already damaged boats, this is the place to go!

Great workers at this place they were good at loading us up and then taking us back when we were finished, but the owner I could care less for. He is very rude guy and he even said some comments about our grandmas weight. Very dissapointed that a owner would act like this.

Not to pleased with their procedures at all. Paid for three days and didnt need the rental on day 2. Called to see if i could get a refund on day 2.was told no because i called at 11am instead of 8:30 am. And was told they would possibly rent the boat and still would not get a refund. I never picked the boat up so i really dont know if they rented the boat or not.Also charged me 800.00 deposit on my credit card as a security deposit. Even after i paid 1959.00 up front for the three day rental 4th of July week. BOAT WAS A DOG...GLAD i rented it.i was thinking of purchasing one just like it.just HATE i didnt check around first...LESSON LEARNED!!!!!!!

Best boats in town by far. Amazing service everyone was polite and very helpful. Will definitely be renting from this company again and recommend everyone else does as well.

Had a great experience. Had a little misunderstanding with the staff but the owner handled it professionally and is a great example of how other owners/managers should be. I will definitely come back and would recommend anyone to try them out.
