Got plain cake donuts and they gave me the buttermilk cake donuts instead. So gross. And I was not impressed with their glazed donuts either. Just super disappointed with the donuts here.

Quality at this franchise is subpar!

When I was there with my husband for the breakfast there were only 2 ladies in front and 2 gentlemen were working in the back. They are constantly moving! When there is not customer, they were cleaning inside store or bathroom. They never stop working!! Tables were cleaned and two ladies were nice and welcomed us. Wish they are close to my house so that I can come more often. And service is very fast and professional 😊 oh, donuts were good also.

Going to many other Shipleys in the Houston area, shipleys glazed donuts are supposed to be light and fluffy. This shipleys glazed donuts dough is always too thick every time I go on my way to work. It’s like eating a clump of bread with icing. They are way too heavy. Maybe they should look into how the dough is supposed to be made.

Poor service! The staff this morning had bad attitudes. The donuts were not fresh for being so early. I bet when the staff applied for their jobs they were nice to the manager... They should be nice to customers as well. Will not be back!

Great doughnuts, great people, great service. Everyone is kind, patient, and polite, the staff always smile and the other customers have no complaints either. Its just what to expect from Lake Jackson, TX. Theyll always get my business.

I really hope they dont serve leftovers from day before. I have been a few times early in the morning and the ham and cheese kolache seems to already be old. Hard bread ends and cheese is already coagulated.

So cheap!! And good quality too! Not as great as the Clute location though. Seemed less fresh

Went to one in Galveston tx. Waste of money. Food stale. When trying to figure what was on the rack (no tags to tell you) employee could barely speak English and hard to understand. Lake Jackson tx store better but not as good as D&S in Brazoria

It is exactly what you should expect a Shipleys to be. Nice choices, okay kolaches but nothing special, original or unusual.

We go get donuts at 7:30am, cause my son wants donuts b4 school. Very slow service, donuts or donut holes are usually cold unless you ask for hot then they give you slightly warm/cold donuts never hot.
