So we ordered a cookie cake from Great American Cookie in the lake Jackson mall three days ago to be picked up today for my sons 13th birthday. Came to pick it up and the guy tells us they just didn’t make it because he didn’t have anyone to make it. No apology nothing. No one even called me to tell me this beforehand either. I Even called to confirm yesterday. So just beware ordering from there because you might just not get a cake for you special occasion. I had one disappointed kid.

Came at 5pm on a Thursday. The cookie was hard and tasted/felt like it had been sitting out a day or two. I dont normally complain but this place and Pretzel Maker need serious help.

So ordered in advance two dozen cookies forMy daughters birthday. My son in law went to pick them up and this is what we got!! I want my refund!!

Stood there for five minutes and the two associates just looked at me and wouldnt serve me.

My cake looks fantastic. They really have wonderful decorating skill. Thank you. And I would like to recommend the cookie cake for parties.

Please educate yourself and your employees about the disability act. I was just discriminated against, at your store. I cannot sometimes wear a mask.I cannot breathe I have COPD. I had tissues over my mouth so I could breathe a whole lot better.

I had the pleasure of ordering from mrs. Alexis today! Im currently living in nebraska and wanted to surprise my mom who works In the mall with a cake for her birthday. I got the order ready and called the store explaining everything to this young lady. She then proceeded to help me find the best way to surprise my mom and even called me back to confirm the cake would be ready before my mom got to to work. Im blown away at how easy and pleasant this experience and employee were. I will be ordering giant cookies for my loved ones often from here. 💚

I literally watched the owner try and fight a customer. There was shouting and a mall security officer had to come and break it up. The place is in complete disarray since they were bought out. Until they get a new owner, stay away!

It’s been a while that I have ordered from here. Because of customer service, I understand young minded kids but it’s no excuse to look at me like I’m retarted when asking a question when I simply ask what are the sizes for ordering a cookie cake. I rather drive a hour to pearland and order my cookie cake. What a joke but their friendlier their. Also my son struggles with hyper active disorder I’m sorry he was tapping on the windows of the display cause the manager found it annoying. I don’t recommend them at all.!!!!!!

I called y’all, and tried to explain myself and my order and y’all hung on me and the lady that picked up the call sounded high so hire better employees.

Update: Manager called to follow up on bad experience. Took amends to mitigate the situation. Still not pleased as the cookie had to be used as is for the ceremony and was not what we ordered, but kudos to the manager for trying to make it right.Told them 5 times when ordering graduate cookie cake, no blue icing. Guess what color icing was on the cake when i picked it up? Blue. Because I had paid ahead of time, they could not give me a discount - complete incompetence. Will never come here again.

I will never buy a cookie cake from this place. Letters where all bunched up together and so sloppy. I got this cookie cake for my sons birthday and the job they did was awful. I had already paid for it so I took it but should have asked for my money back. So disappointed.

Good cookies but price is too high

Saddened by our experience when we go in at 730 wanting to get a cookie cake for our sons birthday today while on vacation but get told they wont make a cookie cake for him even though they have a sign that says cookie cakes available in 15 minutes or less. When we asked Josh the manager we were told that corporate makes them hang that sign not that cookie cakes are actually available. So false advertisement and horrible customer service.
