Last month I go to pick up a script they tell me I can’t get it yet because my insurance won’t pay for it when I only had 1 pill let. They tell me I have to come back tomorrow. I call insurance company and they said that’s not the case and they call rite aid. Rite aid doesn’t pick up so they call the provider line they picked up then tell insurance company they didn’t tell me that and I can get the medication. Today I call around 1:30 to see if my refill was ready and they said I had to wait until I’m down to 5 otherwise insurance won’t pay for it. Then they call at 5:30 to tell me my script is ready for pick up. They are terrible

Went to get my covid vaccination and the un cleanly procedure by the pharmacist did not make me feel comfortable AT ALL. For example gloves were put on before moving the chairs around and then had my vaccine in a separate tray with someone elses used needle under it. Syringes are pre filled with no proof of which vaccine you get, when I asked I was told its the one I requested. Not a pleasant experience, will be getting my second dose elsewhere.

I’ve lived in the area for 6 years I come to the Rite Aid in Lake ronkonkoma probably every 4 days or so, sometimes alone sometimes with my daughter. It’s a quick convenient stop. Recently I’ve noticed a newer guy . He is always following me around like I’m going to steal something. I never really gave it a thought, I’ve been in retail I know the drill. Just today it really bothered me about 7:30 pm and I left this location, and again he follows me down the allergy Isle and then he is behind me pretending to rearrange things near the ice-cream isle. Not sure if I look like some type of dirtbag or if it’s because my PURSE is a mini backpack looking thing but it’s making a good customer who’s been coming there for 6 years not want to go back. The other guy I normally see there doesn’t seem to be there anymore or maybe changed his hours, he knows my daughter and I. Not a dirt bag dude trying to steal just trying to grab allergy meds and ice cream for my daughters itchy throat. Find another person to harass.

Honestly I worked here before and if your really get to know the staff and get close to them they’re actually really caring people and people never realize the time it actually takes to make people’s medications. We have to see if your insurance will pay for it and see if you have it in stock and count whatever your insurance will pay for in pills and had to be verified for your safety. About 4 techs are working on 500 different prescriptions lol A DAY. Also people blame their copays on the techs when the copay is from the insurance LMFAO. ALSO PEOPLE CALL THE PHARMACY FOR NOT REASON WHICH TAKE UP SO MUCH OF THEIR TIME. Do not call the pharmacy if you’re prescription is ready that’s so annoying and do not call if we have toilet paper. CALL IF YOU HAVE AN ACTUAL CONCERN THAT IS WHY WE ARE FRUSTRATED WE GET BACKED UP TO ACCOMMODATE YOU PEOPLE. Also go pay your tooth paste up front it says PICK UP not pay you’re whole grocery list. Not only that but people blame the lines that THEY CAUSE on the pharmacy staff and people also come way to early to pick up their prescription which forces us to fill their prescription and causes the staff to get congested like that. People just go and write reviews on here when they’re bored. Like Suzanne girl bye you said you stopped filling here years ago lol why are you giving a bad reviewing lmfao. I left because I couldn’t take the amount of Karen’s in that place. I love the staff there and I miss them but the costumers are so horrible.

The lady that answers the phone for the pharmacy is so rude. I have been so patient and calm with her but she doesn’t make the phone call easy at all. She actually hung up on me today. I’ve had this experience with her multiple times and she has never answered the phone in a happy way. I hate calling this place because of the experience she has given.

Always a great experience. The Pharmacy Staff are always kind and helpful. The Associates throughout the store are great as well.

I dont love the place by any means but after witnessing what the Pharmacy Counter personnel sometimes go through I feel for them. 12/24, one person ahead of me and one at the counter. Counter customers Rx not ready, 30 minutes to an hour and one on backorder. Normally I wouldnt pay attention as its not my business but after overhearing the above explained by the employee at least 5 times I couldnt help myself. Same questions, same answers. I could see the employee getting frustrated, understandably so. Customer finally walks away, next customer is being helped. The previous customer makes their way back to the counter as I am next. Starts asking the same questions again. This is where I loose it, come on, theres other customers here I say. Customer says Im getting my prescriptions to which I reply so am I, mine are ready, yours are not! Have a nice Holiday.

Its close to my apartment and they are friendly workers there.

This pharmacy is THE WORST. The pharmacists and techs are all awful. I stopped coming here YEARS ago because of their attitudes. They dont want to work, they dont want you to bother them. So I dont, I take ALL of my business, not just the pharmacy, elsewhere. Today I made the mistake of trying to give them a second chance....big mistake. All I did was aggravate myself. They didnt want to be bothered with transferring a prescription. Thats fine. Ill continue to go elsewhere to a pharmacy that wants my business and hope you suffer the same fate as the King Kullen next door that was also AWFUL.

This has been one of the worst Rite Aid I EVER BEEN TOO!!!! Im a EMT and I hate to even write such a bad review. Staff was wonderful but one of the pharmacist by the name Jae, or Jean ( w.e. her name was ) was very Nasty to me just because I asked a simple question, about my sons medication!!! Isnt that youre Job, thats why you there for, No? So me being the person I am because Im all about Customer service I told her cancel my order Ill just go get it from CVS. She then stated very Nasty we cant do that, your Dr.s office has to call and cancel it!I called my sons Dr.s office and I explained the situation and I asked them to send it to another pharmacy. When the Dr.s office called Rite Aid, they stated I took the medication anyways. WHEN I SURE DIDNT!!! so I called the pharmacy back and mad it a conference call so all 3 of us could be on the phone, the pharmacist didnt know I was on the phone. The Pharmacist still was sticking to her story I took the medication any ways. When I heard that I jumped right into that conversation. The pharmacist then tried playing it off by saying she was confused with someone else, but the Attitude on the pharmacist was so Nasty her Demeanor was even worse!!! Never in my 30 years I have never been so disgusted with a pharmacy as I am with Rite Aid right now!!🤬🤬🤬 But thats for sure they lost a valuable customer!!! Good job to the people that Represent the store🙌👌👏 its people like that, that make the store company look bad!( thank you for all youre help Rite Aid of Lake Ronkonkoma )

The pharmacist there was very rude and very nasty they transferred my prescriptions they are from Slater Pharmacy and going there for the first time the lady pharmacist there was very rude I went there for a second time she was rude again I went there for a third time she was rude for the last time I reported her to the main headquarters of Rite Aid I am canceling my prescriptions there and Im going somewhere else I will never get another prescription filled there I get along with everyone and Im nice to everyone she should not be working with the public thats my opinion. I wouldnt have even given them one star with her attitude.

Let it be clear this review is strictly for the pharmacy department of this Rite Aid located in Ronkonkoma,NY. I have never dealt with such incompetent employees including the pharmacist and pharmacy technician on duty on 07/09/19 @6:30pm. I refilled my prescribtion via the automated service(phone call). I am told the prescription should be ready by 3:15pm...I show up at 4pm out of courtesy and it is still not ready. I come back at 6:30pm only to find out that the pharmacist didn’t understand the physician’s directions for administration and requested clarification from the physician...FOR A REFILL? Also if you were so confused why not clarify with the patient that is standing in front of you before you delay someone from getting their needed medications due to your incompetence with medication dosages and frequencies. Avoid these incompetent employees and visit another Rite Aid location.

The store itself is great, ive never had an issue and shopped here most of my life. However, yesterday (8/17/19) was my first interaction with the pharmacy. Very oblivious and rude staff. Picking up my sisters prescriptions that were recently transferred from Slaters Pharmacy.5:48pm I arrived in the store and texted my sister to see exactly how many I was to pick up (so yes I know the time). No one at the counter. I could see staff towards the back but they were a bit out of earshot. I reached out a Hello?, and Excuse me? Over and over, a bit louder each time. Went back up front, no staff either. Back to pharmacy I go. Someone finally heard (or decided to acknowledge me) after another few minutes and without leaving their spot in the back, (a woman) very rudely screamed Were CLOSED!. It was now 6:04pm. I just left at that point.

Says 7 am opens. Its 7:07 still not opened. People at front counter could be more friendly

REALLY RUDE PEOPLE WORK AT THIS RITE AID. ACT LIKE THEY ARE GIVING YOU A BIG FAVOR AT THE CASHIER. IF THEY DONT LIKE THIS JOB GO RETIRE AND GIVE YOUNG PEOPLE A CHANCE. MOSTLY PEOPLE WORK HERE ARE LOOKS LIKE RETIRED FROM FIRST JOBS👎👎👎👎👎👎

Dont like this store at all.Very expensive employees are somewhat rude,plenti program is ending and the store is outdated. Never any cashiers at front end when your ready to check out.Also they dont sell the food items that they advertise.

The manager to this place is just plain rude. I believe his name was Tom. My brother and I came in to buy zero gravity chairs and he gave us the hardest time and bad attitude.I will never shop at this store again because of his.
