Best food in lake Wales. The daily specials are fantastic. Call in early because you definitely want to get to try the daily soup before it runs out.

Let me just start off by saying, THIS PLACE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We were staying at Canopy Oaks Rv Resort for the Weekend and this restaurant was about 24 minutes away. As soon as we got there we immediately got a table. Our waitress was wonderful. After we ordered our food it came in less than ten minutes. This food was probably the best breakfast Iβve ever had. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Wife and I were passing through, saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. I can not say I was impressed at all. The food was ALL over cooked and cold. The sausage links were done in an oven and must have been sitting in a warmer and really dried out. The shredded hash browns were cold and very crispy/dry. Toast was toasted long before I had arrived and was cold as well. My wife and I also both had omelets. I had the Country omelet and wife had a cheese omelet. Both were over done as well and had NO taste at all. Just so disappointed. Service was not great either. No refill on coffee or water. They were busy but still. Our waitress while professional was not friendly at all. Just such a bummer. If you are not a local, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY, find a Cracker Barrel.
First time visiting here, was seated right away and waitress very soon after . Tried a few different breakfast items even though it was noon . My order was out super fast and everything was hot and correct . I was surprised how good it was for coming out so fast . It was also nice to have big plates for food rather then cramming everything on one plate making it a mess to eat . I was checked on several times to see if I needed anything . everything tasted great . My only problem that the place was packed and tables were very close together . Defiantly no 6 foot rule being observed, thus the 4 stars . The table did have antibacterial gel on the table but also basic condiments like salt, pepper shakers also, where most dont . They usually had packets they bring out with the food like in other local places . Will be going back when it looks less crowded .

Absolutely LOVE Lake Wales Family Restaurant. Food is always good, portions are on the larger side, staff is wonderful. I have never had a bad meal here.
First time here, had italian omlette and all I can say it was not from this world - probably best omlette I ever had since the day of dawn. Will stop here from now on whenever Im driving by.
Great dinner, lots people working there to make sure you get as fast as service as possible. The food is great, well proportion and they get it out to you pretty fast and their price are what you would expect $8-$13 a plate. No complaints

This was my second time at the Lake Wales Family Restaurant. I have to say that this is a gem of a spot. The food tasted great and the portion size was enough to make me feel like I was going to barf. I suppose I could have just eaten less and showed a little bit of self control, but I suck at that.Our server was friendly and she got the food out super quick too.All in all I think Ill go back some day and ask for a take out container instead of shoving everything down my hatch.

Weve been here a few times for brunch, and been very happy each time.There are plenty of servers, so service is quick, and the kitchen seem to keep up.Food is pretty good, prices reasonable. Tried a range of items of the menu, with good results.
The food was very good. Clientele was very good and helpful, as well as curtious, polite, professional and prompt. Five stars to the cook, to the waitresses and to management. To the owner, very good choice of employees. Father God Yahweh greatly bless you all in every way and keep you all safe.
Really nice place. Really good food at a reasonable price. Huge burgers! No outside seating for any dogs. So plan for something else if you have any dogs
Good food, great service, nice price! We enjoyed the food and it was more than worth the little we paid for it. Our server was great and made us feel welcomed. What was heartwarming for me was that they are very dedicated to veterans and it showed. Special parking for veterans. I was one of at least three veterans eating there during the slow day we went for lunch.
We stopped here on Sunday, they were very busy but we were seated within 10 minutes. We had lunch, turkey dinner and shrimp stir fry. Both were delicious, plenty to eat and waitress was prompt and kept coming back to see if we needed anything and asked how the food was. Will definitely go there again

I was visiting my little brother the third past Sunday and we drove around his small town of Lake Wales. We stopped at this random Diner while looking for somewhere to eat, and they not only had one of the best menus Ive ever seen, but everything was perfect. The service, the taste, the portions, the architecture. Phenomenal! 10/10 recommend.

The food was good, menu selection was large, service was great and this is one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been in. We were there just before closing and everyone was cleaning. They were wiping everything including walls from ceiling to floor and under and behind booths. The whole place was sparkling.

Outstanding birthday (11/19)breakfast! The staff works so efficiently and professionally together. My pancakes and hash browns were so delicious!
