Just got my order of cats vs pickles in the mail and am very happy! The shipping price was very reasonable, staff was super friendly with me, and it was very easy to place the order over the phone. They even sent along 2 free cats (who does that anymore?)! Thank you so much!!

Everyone was really nice but I spent $50 on a squishmallow and it’s torn around the eyes in two different spots. Really sad especially with how much I spent on it

I love this store! It’s a bit or a drive for me so I only come out every couple of months and have been twice so far. I love the variety of toys they have and the prices are reasonable for being a small business. I love the variety of fidgets they have been stocking recently and it’s always fun to see what new Squishmallows they have in stock

I went here yesterday because I heard there were new Squishmallows in stock. I had to drive over an hour to get here and once I got here there weren’t any of the ones I wanted left in stock. Which was fine I had to drive an hour and I expected it. Then I asked a worker if they had a specific one I was looking for in the back. She snapped at me and was a little rude about it. But whatever i checked out and went home. Then this morning someone sends me all of the new ones they have out which were not there last night and some of them were the ones I had asked about. Again I’m sad that I missed getting them since I live far from here but it’s no problem. So I decide to call the store and ask them if they do holds and they told me no. But yesterday I saw some on hold while I was in the store. And then I asked them if they had anything new out this morning and she told me no even though someone that I know was there and just bought a bunch of new ones that they had out. I’m just not sure why they had to lie to me. Definitely not worth the trip to go here anymore.

Great fun and unique toys. kids love it and went crazy, spent over 100$ there. workers were nice and helped me a lot.

Could care less how good the toys are. Customer experience is the most important in my opinion. 1st customer experience I show up to purchase 2 toys. One of each for each of my children and I’m told it’s a limit of one per person. It’s 2 days before Christmas so I understand. So I also said wife is here too. The owner herself becomes completely rude to me. Yelling at me telling me whatever do Whatever you want. (Great customer service skills )I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone.I UNDERSTOOD the one item per person, but what I don’t understand is the being rude and disrespectful part.

The store is ridiculously overpriced and the staff was not helpful, particularly Jamie. The kids in the store were more polite than she was.

Not sure what store everyone has been visiting in the remarks about how bad the customer service and owner are. I have gone to Learning Express for two years and it is by far mine and my kiddos favorite. The handful of times Ive met the owner he has been nothing but friendly and helpful. The employees are awesome and have always been patient and friendly. Will continue to visit time and time again.

Can be a bit pricey. Good variety of toys for the kiddos- educational and fun. However, the employees are a bit standoffish and the main owner man can be a bit seedy. Employees act offended when approached. Otherwise I enjoy shopping here.

This has really good toys my kids go there for fidgets and they love them

I brought my 1 year old in to pick out a new toy. She gets bored with everything quickly. This store has such a large selection of learning toys which was wonderful to see. The staff was very friendly and showed me some favorited toys for her age and gosh were they right. My daughter has been playing with them for hours. It’s so nice to see her actually enjoy her toys and play with them for once! So thank you and we will definitely be returning for more.

Very disappointed it the store policy and the way said policy was introduced to me by employee.With the coronavirus in full swing in Lake Zurich I thought it easier to pick up a catalog (or have one mailed to my house)to have my grandchildren look through rather than to parade them around in public looking for something I may or may not want at learning express. I was abruptly informed that they do not give out catalogs. They are mailed to frequent shopper‘s only. Now I ask you how do you become a frequent shopper if you don’t know what the store has to offer and again I remind you corona is in full swing.The store needs to rethink their policy.

Great store with a rude owner. I emailed asking to buy a gift card over the phone and the owner responded as if I was bothering them. Plenty of other local businesses to support. I will not tolerate rude business owners and based on other reviews this is a problem with this store. Good luck!

I love the stuff I got but the gobbles did not work

It was a little over priced but definitely one of the best learning expresses ever. The people working were super nice and I definitely recommend.

The owners and staff are so passionate, caring, and completely invested in making the toy shopping experience special and memorable. They always hold a huge variety of events to their community making sure every single customer, the young and young at heart, leaves with a smile. I HIGHLY recommend you visit this store for the hottest toys, great prices, and best customer service you cant find anywhere online!

Poorly Run operation. Rude and uninformed staff.The store is the size of a garage but the employees hide away at all times.calling on the phone is a crapshoot. Most employees Cant even relay inventory numbers.I would highly consider a different toy store or one of their other location to save yourself some hassle.

Whats up with this place? Why do so many people around here patronize it when their prices are half again or double what you can get from other stores? They avoid getting a one star because I think its nice theres a local toy shop, and some of their wares are actually educational. But most really arent. And they cost too much. Shop around.
