Took a phone that was working perfectly fine but needed to have the screen replaced. After they replaced the screen the phone no longer works at all. They ordered a replacement and I specifically told them my carrier was Sprint/TMobile and when trying to activate the phone turns out it’s a Verizon phone

Best experience ever! My iphone X was coming apart due to a swelling battery, and as a result I also had a vertical green line going across the display. I brought my phone in to get the battery replaced ( I opted to not get a new display and figured Id just live with the green line).At $65, Batteries Plus Bulbs has an amazing price for battery replacement. I called two other places nearby and was quoted $85 and $110.To get the $65 price, you just make an appointment ( I made one online and there was an open slot within the very next hour, otherwise its $69.99, which is still a steal obviously lol).For some reason, none of the batteries at the store were working with my phone, so B+B shipped it to one of their facilities to be worked on, at no extra charge. Dropped my phone off on Friday and got it back Tuesday. For whatever reason, they werent able to fix my phone without replacing the display, so they did so, FOR FREE! a $180 value. Nicholas S. was super friendly, knowledgable and helpful throughout the process. A+ employee, Batteries Plus Bulbs is lucky to have him!

Phillip, the Tech Rep, who helped me was knowledgeable about some questions we had about the battery and the install for my car which had a fuse on my old battery as well. He was very efficient and courteous too.

Seeing their ad for $129 screen repair and a coupon for $10 off, I went to get my Pixel 2XL repaired. The girl attempted to remove my screen and found that they did not have my screen in stock. She taped the old screen back on and said she spoke to the manager and they would take care of me for the inconvenience, AND honor the coupon when the correct screen came in. I waited 6 days, stopped in twice to follow up. Got my phone back and a bill for $219.99. I questioned the charge, the young man called his manager. Apparently this was a special order screen and the manager didnt remember my inconvenience and two visits. I was offered a maximum of 10% discount. My husband had I tended to get his screen fixed next (same phone!) But NO WAY!! They have lost a customer!! NOTE: we have shopped there before, but wont ever go back!!

Had to stop in for a new car battery and was delightfully surprised by the courtesy and kindness of Kevin. He assisted me right away though he was helping another customer in back. After he pulled the battery I needed he let me know of the other customer in the back, and lent me a 10mm tool so I could swap out my battery in the parking lot. By the time he was finished in the back I had finished replacing my car battery. I will definitely be back for more items in the future when I need them. Thank you Kevin! Went in to look for options for a trip I was taking and was not sure what was the best fit for what I needed. I was helped by one of the associates ( Kate ) who really took the time to help me and made me feel like my concern was hers as well. I not only left there with a item Im happy with but also with more knowledge then before I walked in there. Nice to get customer service like that as it seems to happen less more often. Was very helpful with how I should fix my unresponsive display, I went to the apple store right before and they told me I needed to buy a new display (although mine was not cracked). I then called this place and they were wonderful, they helped me find the best option for my phone and it did not required purchasing a $150 piece of glass. So I would suggest going to this place before you waste your time and money on Apples premium service.Sad that I could only rate 5 stars

Store experience great. Nick was very knowledgeable and assembled my RBC7 battery pack. My only complaint was a prior $400 marine battery purchase (waited 12 weeks to get a $40 rebate) Corporate was not very responsive and claimed they used a 3rd party. Who hired the the 3rd party? Maybe you should fire them.

I needed golf cart 6 volt replacement batteries, actually I needed 6 of them. After checking prices a 4 locations including a golf cart manufacturer, Batteries Plus saved me over $500 dollars. I got online, received a -10% discount, my local Batteries Plus had the batteries in stock, it took me about 1 1/2 hours to replace the old ones and I got $100 back for recycling my old batteries. Plus the Duracell batteries had more power and better warranty, great experience. TH

I had a battery warranted for 3 years that failed after 1 1/2 years. Batteries Plus had a record of the original purchase, tested the battery, determined that it was defective and replaced it immediately. Totally impressed. Very courteous service as well.

The guy who waited on me matched the Apple IPhone battery replacement part of $29.99. That price began on January 1 according to the news. Originally, Apple was charging $69.99 for the battery. I very much appreciated his honesty and matching the price. Nick and Jason were wonderful! I had 2 cracked screens fixed and both phones look new again. I was disappointed when my coupon from the website was put in (from my Batteries Plus email confirmation) and it didnt work. I would have given 4 stars because of this, but Nick worked his magic and found another way to give me the discount without the coupon (and I didnt want the corporate computer glitch to be a reflection on their service).

Got the battery replaced on 12/21/2018 and during the swap the screen was damaged (which is ok, because things to go wrong during the swap) and I was told a new screen was going to be ordered. This is were this store screwed up..As of today 1/15/2019 I still have the bad screen on my phone and every time I go to the store and ask for an ETA, they keep telling me a that someone will check and will call me back the following day or in a few days.. of course no call...its a shame!I am recommending to anyone who listens to avoid these stores, but especially the Lake Zurich IL location....

Tom at Palatine store could not do repair, but he quickly checked local stores, checked inventory and called store to make sure they could service my repair ASAP. I went to Lake Zurick store and Jason was a pro, took the time to explain all details and he even put on my new screen protector and case. The phone was ready ahead of schedule and he impressed me and thats not easy. Phone looked and functioned like brand new.

Tried to buy motorcycle battery online. Per Batteries Plus website I had to call Crystal Lake store to confirm inventory. They had none, but told me Lake Zurich had 2. I purchased online thru Lake Zurich store. Drove 30 mins to pickup. LZ store did not have the battery. However, they did have a different brand that cost $35 more. As I was in a pinch, I bought the expensive one. Clerks at the store would not discount the expensive battery since I had already gotten 15% off for purchasing online. Never mind my time and travel. The expensive Duracell battery works great and the online purchase and pickup was otherwise smooth. However, I dont trust them to manage their inventory correctly and wont purchase from them again.
