This is my go to Walmart but this review is mainly because of Rico, one of the associates in the electronics department who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly while I was shopping for a basic phone with my grandmother on Sunday October 24. Was able to point us to what I’m hoping is a great fit for her and will help keep her safe. Thanks again!

I purchased a video game online to be picked up in the store and when I went to pick up the game, I noticed that the store was selling the game for $10.00 less than what I paid for the video game. I asked for the price adjustment and three different customer service associates could not help me with the price adjustment. I was already enraged about the $10.00 overcharge and then to be told I would have to call a 1+800 number to get a credit to my credit card. I made them take the game back but they did not refund me the amount I paid in full. I now have to work with my credit card to dispute the charge and credit amount. I will be sharing this negative shopping experience on every social media platform possible. This is terrible customer service and they have forever lost my business. It is bad enough that you have to pay for your purchases with self-checkout. They owe their patrons a discount if they make them check themselves out. I will not be going back to this store.

Took an hour and 2 phone calls to get a curbside pickup. The employee who finally helped us was very nice.

This is my local Walmart and isnt terrible. The shelves are always well stocked with the exception of the seasonal section which always seems to be a work in progress.The greeters are a little creepy. I would love to be able to go shopping without having someone awkwardly stare me down on the way in and out.

I always have a great luck using they are drive up and go to service. The employees are courteous and helpful and exhibit great customer care

The newly remodeled look makes it look more spacious and open. They always have everything I need and the help there is great. Today Jeannine helped us with finding Jumbo eggs from the back when they were all out and she really went above in beyond assisting us. Great service and great prices.

A very rude short large male wearing a yellow vest. I walked in at 10:50pm and I knew it was closing soon, but the large creepy man made sure I knew they were closing soon and I said yes I know, but you are not closed yet. I hurried and got the few items I needed and was heading to the self-check out area, but was first going to grab a snack, but the large male who was suppose to be at the door making sure no one else was coming in, made sure to yell across the checkouts to tell me MAMA, YOU NEED TO CHECK OUT NOW! as I hear him being reprimanded from what seemed to be his manager. He definitely does not belong in customer service 😒🙄 This just reassures me why I would rather shop at Target. Ill pay a little extra for better customer service.

The Vision Center is extremely helpful. Marissa saw me and straightened out my frames (which I bent) and even gave me a couple of cleaning packs. Ill definitely buy my next set of glasses here!

Went to buy salt and used the self check out.I put in the change then put in a 50.00 dollar bill because I needed the five dollar Bill back and your stupid computer check our machine gave me 4.00 Bills back and more change.So I asked if I could give a cashier 5 singles for a five dollar Bill and they said they could not. Same ridiculous response from the customer service center.She said I needed to purchase something, I did, 4 bags of salt.Horrible customer service and it was the fault of your computer check out system3 people there said they could open their cash drawer to get me a five dollar Bill for 5 singles !This is the second time this has happened, I will never shop at a Walmart again. Your company policy is absolutely ridiculous.

Not a fan of the new layout and mostly self checkouts Im not a Walmart employee there should be a discount for scanning and bagging my own items just my opinion though!

Good experience. Got what I needed with ease. The grocery section was a nice convenience for quick things I needed. Makin Gumbo n ready for fresh items. Store was clean and self serve cashier station convenient. Appears they clean well regarding COVID

Staff were absolutely amazing, clean restrooms, Direction Quality was good in the store.

If you like Walmart this is a good one. It was very crowded today. It had all the Halloween candy I needed at a good price. Later - we had 63 trick or treaters at our house. So I dont have too many M&Ms leftover to eat.

I was amazed by the size of this Walmart, but when all was said and done, they still didnt have the automotive product the website stated was in stock. Even so, it was fun browsing this store - wish I lived closer. The thing that really blew me away was Walmart selling Waygu beef - of course, at only $19.83 per pound, I question the quality.

I was graciously assisted by an associate I found in your fitting room area at the Palatine, Il location earlier today. Sadly, I cant recall her name, BUT OH HOW, she was a God send!I came away with a stroller/car seat package that was fantastic. This associate, ( I believe a department lead person) was patient with my questions, showed me how to properly navigate the Walmart website and was professional and knowledgeable of products I inquired about.A true joy to work with throughout my visit.I would go out of my way to revisit this location again!! (Lake Zurich is closer)Thank you so much,A very happy customer.

I had to find bug spray with 40% deet and was getting frustrated because I was looking in the Sports section. I have asked a gentleman in the Electronics department and he took me right to the shelf were I could find it. Unfortunately, I didnt ask his name.Ive had a wonderful experience at Lake Zurich Walmart.

The store was clean lime it usually is, but usually hot in there today. Walmart is usually arctic and has no problem keeping up with the super hot weather. That was not the case today.

A good stores,some people speak the young people that work there dont help older people

Brand new set up in the Lake Zurich store; No cash registers, none, only a slew of new customer scanners which means the people who buy Walmart products are going to be Working For Walmart, for Free. Do you want that 2 b you?And, what happened to the checkers who worked there? This is definitely ripe for a boycott & protesters.

The store remodeling is nice but now just about all of the checkout lines are.self checkout. That is fine if you have a few things but it gets annoying if you have a full cart load of groceries.

The what so called manager Izzy, was very unprofessional, unhelpful, didn’t know what forms we need to file. They called him for help and 4 people didn’t know what they need to get it done. Izzy also was calling me dude and stuff. He should not be representing Walmart in such fashion. Very poor training on their part.

Nice convenient supermarket where we can find whatever we need! Theres huge range of choices in different categories - food, household goods, clothing, decor items.

I get a bit lost at this WalMart. Kinda hard to find items I need. Staff is really friendly. I always see the cleaning crew out disinfecting and sweeping, with masks on. Fully covid-19 vaccine people can go in without masks.

It is my preferred store between the 2 Walmarts in the area. I will say some of the isles are not very wheel chair or handicap friendly. Very narrow and hard to turn in for a person that may have limited ability to turn around. Only saw this when I took a friend, who had a rolling Walker and only one arm to use. She wanted to turn, which in normal space would have bee easy to do. The isle was so narrow, she couldnt turn her Walker.

It would be great of the employees doing the online shopping would take the ear buds out and get out of the way and not leave the huge carts blocking the entire aisle

Every employee I talked too had a great attitude! Every idle was cleaned. I would recommend this store!

This is by far my favorite location. Whether buying much more affordable groceries or buying items from the Vision Center or Pharmacy, the staff is super friendly. Self checkouts are pain free with assistance always close at hand for those random unscannable barcodes. 🥰

After not being there for over a year because of the pandemic, it was great to see that it was just as interesting. There were more people there than I had anticipated but all were masked.

Aisles marked as one way that no one follows. Items have been moved around unable to find most of the products I was looking for employees are too busy talking to each other and just point in a general direction when you ask for help. Employees block aisles with stock carts so one way direction cant be followed. In general a poor shopping experience but hey they have low prices...

Redoing the place from top to bottom. Not your regular dumpy Walmart. Feels more like a nice (but large) local store

We order multiple cakes one for my Daughters Birthday and one for our Wedding Anniversary. Both are decorated beautifully and right on time or i can say before time. Its been really wonderful to order and get cake within 24 hrs whereas other bakery takes 3-5 days for same thing. I really recommend thie Lake Zurich Walmart Bakery !! Kudos to the Team !!

Nightmare picking up internet orders. Two separate prices when you pick up online and in store. We dont price match. What? Its on Walmart.com and sold by Walmart. I can order it, wait 4 hours and pick it up in the same place at the cheaper price or pay more and pull out of the shelf myself. Makes sense to me.. Ridiculous

As a doordash delivery guy. They helped me out. They didn’t waste any of my time. As well as they were respectful and listened to my preferences when they loaded up my car. Good job to them, it’s really the little things that matter and they treated me well and helped me out. So thank you.

I want to start off this review by saying I hate Walmarts in general. I try to avoid them as much as I can and can honestly say Ive never once had a positive experience at a Walmart. However, Tuesday was different. Im in my second trimester of pregnancy and today was not a good day for me. I was nauseous and forgot to bring a lunch with me to work today (I work at the Americas Best in the same plaza). I went into Walmart on May 10th around 2:20 pm, now I mention the date and time because I regret to say that I did not get the name of the employee who helped me. She was blonde with what I think we purple glasses and she worked in the Deli/ Hot section. The mashed potatoes were from this morning and cold, you could visibly see that just by looking at them as well, but without me having to say anything she asked another gentlemen to bring out the fresh mashed potatoes and gravy. Most people dont do this, they will still give you the old stuff from that morning. This employee did not know I was pregnant or feeling sick but she made my day with the smallest action that most would say is insignificant. Being pregnant I cant eat food thats been sitting out for long and being as that was nauseous thats definitely not something I would have wanted. Its people like this that make a big corporation store like this feel welcoming. Im sorry i couldnt get her name buti hope she sees it hears about this review and knows shes appreciated.

The front team manager is very rude! I asked what the price is for the shampoo that has no price list at all in the shelves and he wanted me to walk with him show him where the shampoo is. I told him I got it in the shampoo department. But he wants me to walk with him and show him! When I said to him, you should know where the shampoo department is. His reply was “I don’t know.... then when I said you work here you should know! His reply was, I m not a machine how should I know! And he called me rude!!! That I think is a horrible job done for being a front team manager. After all this he still didn’t find the price so I walk away without the product.

This is the best Walmart store in the area. Its selection and staff are far superior to the Vernon Hills location I usually visit.One staff member in particular stood out to me during my visit today. When I was having difficulty finding two items, an associate named Connor went above and beyond to show me exactly where to get what I was looking for! This was by far the best experience I’ve had with a retail employee! Connor was very knowledgeable and friendly. I’ll definitely be returning to this store.

They never pick up the phone even if you’ve been calling since the store has opened

I give 2 stars because they have a good selection. The customer service at this store is substandard. Their delivery and pick up department is a joke really. There is a lady manager that is very kind and fixes every single issue I have with my deliveries... which are many. I am not sure if it is because it is a ne feature or what. It is so aggravating. I am actually currently waiting on an order from yesterday. I placed and order for delivery yesterday morning for 3 to 4 pm the same day. I have not received any correspondence from them saying it was delivered or on the way. I called and a man told me he would call me right back as soon as he found something out and it would be last night... well that didnt happen. Ill have to spend my lunch *trying* to call up there again. I say trying because the staffs ability to answer the phone in under 15 minutes is miniscule.I guess if you go in the store its a good experience. Wide variety and a lot of clearance. Pick up and delivery... not so much.

Best of the Walmarts. Not to big, not too small. Easy to find everything.

They left 2 registers open for customers to be served. They changes every other register to self service. So not good enough I shop in your store, but I have to do all the work myself? Where is YOUR customer service? Had to wait in line. My 80 year old mother will NOT shop there anymore. This is beyond greed. Very shocked and disappointed.

Walmart is honestly amazing especially this one. Workers are extremely friendly and helpful. Their carts are always very sanitized. Their walmart is also very clean.

I used to love this Best Buy and often gave them business when I could just as easily ordered from Amazon. Not sure I’ll ever go back after my visit yesterday.When I arrived at the front door before being allowed to enter an employee asked me the reason for my visit, huh? I said “to Christmas shop.” He asked me for what, and I said I don’t know I haven’t gone shopping yet. Then he got snarky and said well if you don’t know then we can’t put you in the queue and you’ll have to wait because we work by appointments. I said, I’m trying to get ideas for gifts by browsing can I go in the store now? And finally he lets me in.Next I asked another employee if he could direct me to the new X Box X display, and he says we don’t have any you have to Oder this online. I told him I understand that but since our family was new to X Box I wanted to physically see one and hold the controller to see if I’d like it, but in an arrogant response he just said we don’t have any and again repeated you’ll have to order it online. All the whole I was thinking congratulations I will order it online as well as all my other gifts just not from Best Buy.I really hope someone at Best Buy in management sees this review and takes action like employee training on customer service and manners.

Since this is a super Walmart and I live less than a mile away it seems like Im there everyday. Its very clean, well organized and has friendly, helpful employees. Two negatives for me are a). Not enough registers manned by actual people. Those that are opened usually have a line.. They do, however, have quite a few self checkouts and you seldom have to wait for an open one and b). Dont go grocery shopping on a Monday as they are out of stock on several everyday items. I assume because of the weekend shoppers but they dont seem to restock until Monday morning. For me, those are not deal breakers as they are significantly less expensive than regular grocery stores. Finally, this Walmart, in the morning, is not crowded or busy.

Destyne at assistant manager is absolutely amazing. Extremely helpful, but I have to say Walmart. Com associate was rude and very unprofessional.

This is a very good Walmart given its distance from home office.Consistently well stocked.Friendly employees.Handling COVID fairly well.I think their grocery pickup could do better about not saying stuff is out of stock when I can go in and pick those items up. Or substituting items inappropriately.No matter how much I try, still lower cost than any other store in the area given availability of all items on my shopping list.

Im a vendor and dropped off at this location today. While ringing the doorbell was greeted by an employee cussing another vendor and i out.

I live at Buffalo Grove. Been here when I visited the Costco. Personally, I liked the one at Wheeling. This has less collection relatively. But one stop for all home needs. Still I guess one of the best super center in this area..

I purchased a USB DVD player, the USB cable was missing. Walmart is a junk store!

I have been going to this Walmart since I was young and still continue to come to this location after moving out of the area. The pharmacy staff is amazing and have always been our go to pharmacy for my family!!! We will continue to come to this location because of the pharmacy... the pharmacist know us by name and always work hard to make sure they have my sons medicine he takes daily.

This is my favorite Walmart. Drive from Chicago to come here. Subway inside is very convenient

Great clean store!!! They have what you need guaranteed. Friendly, kind and helpful just one problem no one knows how to add money to your cash card. A bit dissatisfied in that aspect.
