Highly recommend! We had 3 local A/C companies visit our home and provide quotes. Wards came in much lower in one case over $8,000 lower and for a better unit, as well they offered a much better warranty both on service and parts than the others. They were professional, clean, on time and importantly very knowledgeable! We had done a great deal of research prior and Wards answered all the questions, unlike previous quotes that wanted to sell us off brands and smaller than needed units. A week after installation, they returned as promise, installing a vent that was on back order. We highly recommend Wards based on our experience and exhausting research!

The customer service here is horrible. they set up an appointment for me today at 1pm and i called after 1 asking about the tech. i was told the tech is eating lunch so someone will come through at 130,2,230.... appointments definitely means nothing to this company.

Wards were the subcontractor on my home a year ago that installed my AC system. I loved the guys back then. They were all very professional during the installation of my AC system, so when it came time to have my system serviced a year later, it was a no brainier. I called Wards and the service department did not let me down. When I called to make my appointment I was already in their system, and I loved that they used Sue and not my first name. Somewhere in their records they made a note that I do not like to use my first name. The service tech was great, he kept me informed and even cleaned up the little bit of insulation that fell out of the attic. As you can see, Wards has made me one happy customer.
I received a call from the service department telling me the technician was on the way. When Jeffrey arrived, he had on his mask and was extremely courteous and friendly. He took time to answer my questions and he cleaned up behind himself. He was very knowledgeable.

Wards air conditioning installed a new 5-ton train system and with air handler and humidity control in April of 2018 and were saving 20% at least on our electric bill over the unit that was replaced that was damaged during the hurricane in 2017 their services dependable and high-quality the installation was very high-quality and I cant recommend them more.

I received the email requesting feedback while on the phone asking to speak to the service manager. I was so irritated that I thought it best not to post a review until I talked to Carl. The appointment was for a check - A/C was working fine.My issue was that I had scheduled the appointment two weeks ago and was willing to wait so other emergencies could be handled. The day of the appointment arrived and I expected the technician between 1 and 3 PM. I had not heard anything from Wards, so at 2:30 PM, I called to inquire if I had the correct date/time for the appointment. I was told that the technicians appointment ran a little long so he was just finishing lunch. I asked why no one had contact me and was told - we dont do that. Okay, so at 4:15 PM the technician finally showed up. He was very pleasant and told me the service managers name - thus the phone call mentioned above about the lack of communication and lateness of the technician.The technician told me at the end of the visit that everything checked out and I didnt need any service to the unit. I was overjoyed! Not a big bill, just the usual $87.00 maintenance visit.A/C worked great last night. I went out at 9:30 AM this morning and set the thermostat at 78 degrees. Got home about 3 PM and the temperature was 84 degrees. Chalked it up to me not setting it correctly. An hour later I was still hot and checked the thermostat. It was now 85 degrees! I checked the breaker box and all of the breakers were set. I reset the one for the A/C just to make sure. Nothing. The a/c unit shut off and the temperature was still 85 degrees. I tried turning it off and back on - but nothing. Fan only runs if I put the switch to on! Its getting hotter!Called the after hours line at 6 PM - its now 6:15 PM and no call back.Good thing my check has not cleared the bank yet! Ill let you know if this gets resolved.UPDATE: Well the good news of yesterday turned out to be a $650 bill today. How can everything be good on Wednesday and then the fan motor and compressor (I think) go bad overnight? I will talk to the service manager and see if theres any recourse. Just glad I didnt go on a shopping spree today with the money I had set aside in case there were problems!
I had to replace one unit and had a new unit added all in a single week. Wards got all the work done faster than expected and it all worked great from the start. The new units are a big upgrade from my old equipment and it all got done quickly. The guys from Wards are professional and pleasant. Thanks

Always attentive, professional and courteous. Only concern is the smell now coming from our Master BR unit. The technician said it was likely the cleaner they use now. However, the other two units in our home do not have this smell.

Jeffrey arrived at 530, got right on the problem and had us fixed within the hour. Jefferys vehicle and appearance were very professional. Explained in detail what was needed and recommend future pm that was needed. Price was very fair. Will call again and recommend to others.

I called on a Friday morning and scheduled for a tech to come out the same day in the afternoon. I was also told the tech, or somebody, would give me a courtesy call prior to arrival. Well, nobody called or showed up.I can’t comment on their workmanship, since they never did any work; the 1-star reflects their lack of calling and showing up.
Ive purchased 2 Trane system from Wards. Barry was the person whom came out and provided us with a quote. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. The service techs whom I have dealt with have always been very courteous as well. Highly recommend them!
Be sure you know exactly what they are quoting you. Come to find out after buying a new AC unit for over $6000 they dont replace any of the lines, which is what I actually needed in the first place. I am not an AC initiate. I dont know much about them, or whats involved in installing them. The fact that parts of the system were not being replaced when I bought a new unit was not explained to me at all. So even after buying a new unit, my problem isnt fixed, but these guys wont cover it. They sold me a new AC based on bad information, and now are saying I have to pay another $600 to fix the problem that I bought the new AC to fix? You have got to be kidding me. Find another company, these guys arent going to take care of you.

Guess I should have read your reviews before I called. Your rep failed to show up for a follow-up appointment to measure the ductwork. Nor did he bother to call and reschedule. Found out he did not go into work due to personal problems. Well, okay, you can sure do without my business. Will gladly go elsewhere.
I called in August, busiest time of the year, the air conditioning at my office, had ceased to function and smelled burnt. The call was placed about 9:00 am, at this time of year in Florida, most companies have a waiting list. I was told that they would get to us that day but late in the day. True to their word, Robert got to my office about 4:30, quickly diagnosed the problem, repaired it and charged what I considered to be a very reasonable price. After having such a long day in the Florida heat and humidity, dealing with customers that are frustrated, you would expect the technician to be in a hurry or worn out. I was surprised at how pleasant and professional he was. He was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend this company!!
We chose Wards AC to replace our 13 year old contractor grade HVAC system. It was beginning to ‘growl’ on startup, was noisy as all get-out when running and provided Hurricane Force winds when operating to the extent that we had to turn the system off at night so we could sleep.Our new TRANE system is dead quiet. It’s even difficult to hear the outside unit running (standing right next to it) if the sprinklers are running!TRANE user adjustable de-humidification is super awesome, and the environment cleaning filtration unit is keeping the inside air about as allergy free as you can get outside a hospital setting…..The Wards team did the entire job in one shot. Removal and installation was spotless. The team members were awesome! They even got along with my mini-schnauzer. Everyone answered every question I had.This is not my first TRANE purchase, and if I ever have to buy HVAC again, it WILL BE TRANE again!!If I ever have the opportunity to recommend an installer, it WILL BE WARDS!!

Installed a new 3.5 ton Trane AC system in my home. I got several estimates before selecting Wards. Barry Hall was the consultant that did the evaluation of what was needed. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to measure the home, the windows, check the insulation in the walls and attic in order to calculate the proper size system that was needed. None of the others were so extensive. He provided different options. He solved a problem we had in our large living room that had a high ceiling and was the hottest room in the house, by enlarging the small existing vent and adding a second vent. The price included replacing the refrigeration lines and the ducts near the air handler. The total cost was $6,021 for a 3.5 ton, high quality Trane Heat Pump system. They did what they promised and were there when they said they would be. I highly recommend.

These people NEVER keep their appointment times. Weve used them numerous times over the years and EVERY single time wed call they took days just for a tech to come out. If youre having AC issues and dont want to be stuck in a miserably hot home for a few days DO NOT use this company. An issue that was supposed to be fixed on their last visit here happened again and now stuck here enduring the heat AGAIN. Stay away from this business.

Scheduled regular maintenance/service weeks in advance, did not show up...Took afternoon off from work to be available. Get a phone call by wards last minute they can’t make it anymore...Buy your new A/C units somewhere else where they will take care of you after the sale as well.

Initially when they want your business - they are right there - no problems. Now a year later trying to get services after the sale - forget it. No call backs . Tried to set an appt - was waiting 4 hours for a return call - finally had to call them back. WHen I did get an appt it was for 2 days later after lunch Sat at home all afternoon for my appt no show - called the office - the service tech was busy on another call. This is ridiculous! Rescheduled for another day - well see but I am not holding out much hope!!! Go elsewhere!!!!!!!! UPDATE: Well third time is the charm!! Stephen (sp?) came out tonight and fixed everything - he was professional and knew just what to do!!!!! We need to ask for him everytime and anytime we have a future problem!!!

I have been using Wards for over 10 Years on my home in Lakeland. They have never had an issue with them meeting the appointment. Even while I was renting out my property, they have always taken care of the AC/Heat for me. I have always felt like their service was fair
I asked them today to fix a leak the guy indicated he doesnt know where it is or how to fix it.Then wrote on the paper doesnt want leak check and lied.AWEFUL!They also charged over $400 for freon to leak out and said he doesnt know how long it will last!Run people run!May God have mercy on his soul.
