After spending $45,000 over the last year I’ve had nothing but problems with this dealership from start to finish. (Also their salesman pay you a $25 sky power gift card for 5 star reviews, half the reviews here are paid for)I’ve got 2 skis there now, that I bought new. Every time they come in for service and get on the water there’s something wrong with one of the skis, which makes me bring it back and pay their $126 fee to even look at it. It’s a scam from front of house to back.Spend your money somewhere else!!

WHAT A SCAM! Purchased a 2021 Can Am Defender from them this year. Battery went bad after only 20 hours. I was told to bring my SXS in only to find out the warranty on the battery was denied due to wear. $300 total to get them to replace. How do they not warranty a battery on a brand new 2021 with only 20 hours? I picked it up, was charged $60 for a diagnosis and went to a local battery place and spent $130 and installed it in 5 minutes. For someone who spent over $20k at this place you think they would try harder to make customers happy. Very disappointed in the customer service and the lack of backing up the side-by-sides they sell. I will never bring mine back to this place for any type of service or recommend anyone buy from here.

Spent over $40,000 here and they paid me for a 5 star review. (That should have been the red flag)After multiple services trips that I prepaid for, my skis have new problems they didn’t have when bringing them in. If you want over priced shady work go here! Otherwise stay away! They don’t care about their customers and making things right.

This is a reply to the owner fromMy last review! Apparently you need to retrain your sales personnel bc they definitely couldn’t tell me when I would receive my side by side if I purchased it. I would be put on a waiting list which I understand as manufacturers shortage. But your $500 fee was explained to me not as a down payment so there was no misunderstanding your personnel said it was a install fee meaning you would charge me 500$ for someone in the back to put it together in 2 hours that’s making 15$ an hour. This is a BS mark up and shouldn’t be used anywhere to jack the price up.

I bought a 2021 Tenere 700 from them and brought it in to have the tires changed before trip to the Smokies. The day of the trip I find the rear tire flat. Figured it was a pinch flat I decided to fix it. When I took the tire off the rim I find a used tube in my new bike and 3” too small.They tried to make it right. Well I had another flat and when I took the tire off I found a 21” tube in my 18” rear wheel.I talked to the general manager today and he told me he wasn’t going to do anything about it.So if they can’t handle a tire change I certainly wouldn’t go there for SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deceptive sales practices and terrible service. Even after phone calls and emails prior to coming to purchase a Go Kart, there was a $500 fee that could not be avoided. I understand that certain taxes and registrations are necessary, but the total cost was 50% more than discussed or displayed online. Battery on the Go Kart lasted 48 hours and they wont replace without bringing it to them (which is 30 miles away). NEVER stepping foot inside there again.Update: Drove 30 miles to return the faulty battery. The replacement battery doesnt fit the battery compartment on the Go Kart. Is there a way to rate with negative stars?

I took my used Suzuki Boulevard C50 that I just purchased into Sky Powersports Lakeland for a tune-up and a valve adjustment because they are a Suzuki dealership. That was a wrong assumption.I have had to continually call for updates from the shop manager not the other way around and, they have a text messaging service. This is the third week they have had my bike for a simple tune-up and valve adjustment. There seems to be no real hurry to get work completed. I expected more from a dealership and was ready to pay a premium but for this level of effort, I am extremely disappointed. I know what goes into a tune-up and valve adjustment. I thought I was bringing my bike to an organization I could trust. They still havent fixed the valves so I will have to take to another shop. Not happy about this experience. Would not recommend for servicing. The new motorcycle store is different. Nice place with excellent customer service.Follow-Up:After a month of waiting, I finally received my bike back. Sky Powersports service department tried very hard to make things easy but continued to have problems. They looked into the tick in my engine determining that it was not the valves but something deeper in the engine. It had been run out of oil at some point in the past and recommend that I buy a used engine. After looking for a new engine, I decided to just go with the current engine until it died. Communications problems persisted but they did contact me when it was ready for pickup. When I went to pick it up, I noticed coolant dripping off the engine. They finally resolved the issue delivering my bike to my residence. Cant say I will return but in the end they did try hard to make up for previous problems. Kudos to Miguel for giving me a ride home when there were no Ubers.

Walked in on 3-16 about 2pm right past the guy sitting at the greeters desk with no hello or acknowledgment. Spent about 15-20 minutes inside store (that wasnt busy) and sat on several bikes. No one even acknowledged I was there. I was ready to buy, but refuse to beg someone to take my money. I guess they are doing well enough to afford to lose business. Sorry guys, you let one slip out this time. Ill go give Harley Davidson my money.

Our sxs has been there for 2 weeks and after we had to go find the parts ourself for what they couldn’t get due to “back order” we were told that they can’t get out bike back on the block for another week because they are full. Sorry. But we were here first and you need to get us out first before bikes that came in after us because you can’t get your parts in or jobs done. Should have known what we were dealing with when it took over a week to diagnose in the first place. Barney’s in Brandon has had all of our part and belts and everything we needed in stock since we bought this bike. We will NOT be doing business with this shop again. Absolutely disappointing.

Recently bought a preowned ranger from them chris helped us with our purchase he was very informative and didnt make us feel like we were pressured into the sale. Where do I even start. My wife and I bought a 2020 Viking VI ranch edition SXS from Sky may of 2020 bike ran great until Feb 28th when we had coolant spray out of the vent tube. Took the sxs into sky’s shop to get it fixed after 2 weeks with no update I called and talked to Chaz the GM of the company, he told me they were very busy and that he would see what he can do and call me back. After one more week and no phone call I called up to the service department and they told me it was done on the 24th of March so I picked up the bike and loaded on the trailer. We decided since we just spent $1400 to get it fixed we need to take it and test it. First time off the trailer since picking it up on March 26th (today is the 28th)we decided to take our kids to river ranch and we drove less then 2 miles on the SXS and coolant started doing the exact same thing again. I am at the end of my road with this. I will be going to the BBB and News if this is not resolved because this is BEYOND unreasonable. Oh and did I mention I also had to locate and pick up my own parts from another Yamaha dealer in town because Sky wasn’t able to get them. So not only did I have to do part of their job for them, the part that they did actually do was done poorly and incorrectly. Completely unacceptable service and resolution, and management does nothing except make excuses.

This is a real awesome place and the staff is cool.

I brought my bike in for scheduled service and they finished the work when they said they would and did not try to sell me additional services that I didnt need. Very satisfied

If I could give negative 5 stars I would put it. I had the worst experience of life at this Sky power Sports location. I went to change the motorcycle oil in a place that seems to have credibility, as soon as I moved with the motorcycle it stopped working 7 minutes after the oil change. I called the sector and the service manager asking for help. He simply said. That has no responsibility, the motorcycle came out perfect. That the problem was mine.

This Place is a rip-off, overpriced parts and maintenance, called today 02-22-21 to find out what they would charge to reset a maintenance reminder on a 2012 seadoo wake and they wouldnt even do it. Barneys which I highly recommend said they would do it for $40 I was just trying to avoid the drive to Brandon and back as I live in lakeland. Everytime I need parts they are always higher than everyone else around and online will not waste my time with this place ever again!

Bought a 2020 Ryker trike never noticed the damage to the left wheel, it was used for demo but never was told it was damage, they told us it was all checked out and it was taken for a road test when driving it home the front wheel vibrated very badly over 40 miles an hour dangerous ride home front wheel was bent, the brake was also damaged and front fender broken at the bottom. They did repair the front wheel would not replace fender. Would not recommend this place.

I rarely post a review, but I had such a wonderful experience yesterday purchasing a new 2021 Sea Doo RXP-X that I feel the need to let everyone know.I live in Ocala, Florida and was interested purchasing a Sea Doo. I visited our local store and was not impressed with its sales method. So, I start shopping online and found the unit I wanted at Sky Powersports. I called and spoke to Ryan, who was able to answer ALL of my question on the first call. We spoke two additional time over the course of the next 30 mins and were able to come to terms. I pick up the Sea Doo that afternoon. Everything was ready (thank you John)! The deliver was exceptional (thank you Ryan and Issac)! There were no surprises! Disappointed-Visited Sky in Lakeland today with two tasks-One- have an old Polaris Ranger worked on, they don’t work on anything older than 10 years old even though they are the Polaris Representitve! Offered absolutely no assistance, I’d question if Polaris supports that decision?My second task was to BUY a new Ranger. My suggestion, look elsewhere. Terrible for service.

I was in the market for a 2020 Can-Am Spyder RT Limited. Though Im located in CO, I was searching all dealers across the US. I was fortunate enough to start working with Sarah Vann who really impressed me with her quick response and thoroughness in answering my questions. Though I didnt end up purchasing because I happened to find a very slightly used one locally, I still want to sing Sarahs praises. Just because it doesnt end with a sale doesnt mean it wasnt a great experience. Kudos Sarah.

On June 13th I assisted my son and a friend of his on the purchases of motorcycles. My son purchased from another dealer and his friend purchased from sky. 1st thing that went wrong is they had no keys for the motorcycle. Then the motorcycle wouldnt run. Then they had to service the motorcycle on the spot. It took 3 hours for them to cut new keys. This was more aggravating than anything but then the reason for the review. During their service they damage the paint on the gas tank. This damage was not there during the initial inspection of the bike in the morning. Mike the sales manager as we loaded the bikes onto a trailer was more than cordial in stating that he would take care of it that this shouldnt be a problem we will fix the gas tank and get U factory keys. ( take it to any Yamaha or Kawasaki dealer and it should be taken care of) . We took him at his word. 2 days later my sons friend gets an email telling him to go pound sand. He was not getting the factory keys and they were not going to honor the damage on the tank. NiceThat just goes to show buyer beware and never take the word from a dealer.

Went into location to purchase a 4 wheeler on July 14 2020 after work and no one gave me the time of day. I was the only customer and must have walked by at least 10 employees throughout the place. They were all too busy to help me I guess. I did let them know I was unhappy as I left. Ill be going somewhere else for my purchase. Very disappointed especially since I have bought 2 from here in the past. Sad.

I called Sky to inquire about purchasing a GoKart after not being able to do so at another location. I spoke with Robert and told him what I needed and what I could afford to pay. He worked the deal with management, called me back, and said that he could do it. I drove over, and after a few minutes of paperwork and going over the machine they had me out of there.The long and short of it is that Robert and team did exactly what they said that they would do and not $.01 over. They weren’t pushy about any additional products, services, or warranties. They politely offered all, but weren’t overly pushy which is important to me. I will without doubt be returning to Sky for my future needs.

I wanted an ATV just to keep up with my 10 yr old son while he is riding his dirtbike. I am an older Mom and explained that I wanted comfort, not a racing or jumping machine. Jeremy, Sarah & Joe made it happen!! I couldnt be happier with their effort & I am now the proud owner of a beautiful Polaris touring model! It is absolutely beautiful, comfortable and a dream come true! Thank you guys so much!

Second time coming into Sky Powersports to purchase new toys & have received quality customer service both times! Called this morning for a second 4-wheeler & by the time I got here after work it was ready to go! Buying toys shouldn’t be a hassle & if you want that experience Jeremy is your guy!

Took my side by side to get fix. Said it was all done I owe this amount. Get the buggy back bring it home and check it over and nothing it done still messed up. I don’t not recommend you bringing your vehicles in to get fixed better off doing it your self and saving more money.

By far the best experience buying a jetski. Everyone from the sales staff to the managers and GM were great to deal with. My sales person Chris went above and beyond answering all my questions( and I had a lot!) to make sure I was 100% happy with the entire process/transaction.
