I purchased a car hood from us body source through summit racing, the hood came after a few weeks after I ordered it. In my excitement I cut the opening for the hood latch and trimmed out for the headlight buckets. Only to find that the hood was 1/2 narrower than the factory hood. I contacted summit racing and they said that I had to deal with the manufacturer since I had installed it already. I carried it to several body shops to see if they could help. They all said that it would cost more than what I paid for the hood. After a few months of trying to decide what to do with it. I decided to just remove the hood and forget about it. I did however leave a review of the hood on their Facebook page and after a few months the owner contacted me about the problem and they promised a replacement. This was in February, they said it would be a few weeks before they could send it as they had to repair the mold.... waited and waited... contacted them about this again and was promised again they would replace the hood.... Now. June has come and about to go.... they have stopped responding at all.... A $558.00 lesson learned.... Go elsewhere to get your fiberglass parts.... junk... and no customer service...

I purchased a hood for my 1970 Camaro thru jegs,which is made by this company.ordered it on December 22nd,and they kept bumping the ship date out 2 weeks.in the mean time my car has been sitting in paint waiting on the hood.they dont tell you it will be 3 months to make you a hood when they take your money.i finally had to cancel my order because I could not trust I would receive the order.there are plenty of other companies out there that can make it much faster.3 months to make a hood is unacceptable.I would not recommend this company to anyone
