I have a 2018 Toyota Sienna. My headlights keep burning out. I had Bob check it and he found a burned out bulb- which is why I took it there, to find out why this was happening so frequently. The bulb was replaced. Two weeks later, it was out again. I replaced the bulb. Now here again, the bulb is out again. I called and asked to have him look at it again. I was asked if I replaced the bulb. I think that the frequency of bulb replacement is not normal and it’s something making this happen. I was told “why does he need to look at it again if it’s just a burnt out bulb? “ I have had vehicles I never had to replace headlight bulbs in. This van is eating thirty dollar bulbs like candy, there is something wrong with that. I guess Alice didn’t think so, I presume Bob didn’t think so either as it was an argument to try and have it looked at again. I’ve had enough of the fake, snarky politeness. I will take it to Toyota, perhaps they can find the reason for the frequency of headlight bulbs burning out.

We were driving through Lakeland on our way to St. Augustine for a camping trip when my whee nearing went out. Alice was very nice and helpful. Bob did a great job replacing the wheel bearing, and finding the parts that were not in stock locally. The work was solid and quick. The price was very fair. Thanks Bob and Alice.

Bought a cat shield online for my Prius, and had it installed here. At first, he worked on it for an hour and realized he needed a very particular tool or bit to install it. He got the part the next day and I returned to have it installed properly and quickly with no problems and for a very decent price.

They would able to give me an estimate on my a/c quickly and get the parts to fix it that day. The price was great. I had gotten previous estimate on the problem, that estimate was more than triple this estimate.

Bob and his wife, Betty are the consummate small town auto repair shop. They work on most anything diagnose things bases upon his many years of experience and do what is needed to get things running properly at a reasonable price. He works on most anything; I saw older family cars and vans, a DeLorean, Jag, and company fleet vans.

Its very dirty place but they are great and fair mechanics.

Friendly service is a pleasure when things are going bad as they were this morning when my truck wouldnt start. So I just called Bob,was assured they could handle my problem and my truck is now being worked on. I expect full satisfaction as usual. When you find a good mechanic stick with them, so you know who to go to if (WHEN!) something goes wrong.Just Call Bob!

As a previous 10 year multi vehicle customer of Alice and Bob, neither of them stand behind their work and if anything goes wrong, they insist that it is the owners fault. I’ve had several instances where they have accused me of lying over a question that I never even asked ( I was inquiring about tire balancing and they returned a call stating that they do not warranty their alignments). I’ve received my vehicle back damaged and missing parts and was told that the items were missing/damaged when the vehicle was taken in . When inquiring for a quote on tires, Alice becomes extremely flustered and is unable to comprehend the question being asked and instead insists on answering one question at a time, In between phone calls (generally 24-48 hours in between). This is frustrating because these are seemingly simple questions like how much is it to mount and balance and how much is an alignment, which I would think are common practices across the business but according to Bob and Alice they charge different people, different prices for the same work (verbatim! I have a recording of the call!) . I spoke directly with bob who accused me of only wanting free and cheap work when in fact, I was inquiring about the warranty on their work and to potentially buy tires, to which bob replied that I did not understand how tires work, that he is NOT as cheap as the dealership and that they do NOT warranty any kind of work including balancing and any alignment that they do (which again, bob kept referring to when I NEVER even inquired about alignment, only balancing), or general mechanic work. At the end of the conversion (which I was extremely polite during, I might add, apologizing profusely and frequently for whatever misunderstanding as they continually cut me off and insisted that I was a liar) Bob informed me that he no longer wants my business in addition to several other illicit things that I would rather not repeat. I initially called asking for a tire quote and inquiring about a warranty on tire balancing and it ballooned to This over a 72 hour period. It took Alice 2 days to even get me a quote on tires, to which she said it would be another day or two before she could get me a quote on mounting and balancing the tire. I would highly recommend avoiding this discriminatory business as they do not stand behind their work, will lie to you and instead call you a liar for their own lower than average work standards and higher than the dealership prices (Their quote, not mine) in addition to the slow turn around, lack of general vehicle knowledge and overall extremely poor customer service, Bob and Alice have openly stated that they will charge you differently depending on who you are and where your from and if they like you or not even if all the variables on the vehicle are the exactly the same. I’m sad to see the state of this business because it’s people like “just call bob” that take advantage of people and assume that they just simply don’t know any better. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF DURING THIS PANDEMIC!!!

How to lose a customer 101:I called this shop recently to ask if they would be able to do an alternator replacement on an 05 Merc.The lady that picked up the phone told me yes, but refused to give me a quote or even a ballpark estimate for parts/potential labor cost. I asked very politely and concisely, but she cited that Bob needs to look at the vehicle first. Just like you like to know what business youre getting into, Bob likes to know what hes getting into with a car before he works on it. She proceeded to tell me that sometimes customers may say a part is bad, but in reality its x,y, or z. She told me that I had to bring it so they could examine it. This is supremely ironic considering I have no idea what Im getting into with their business, and I cant drive my car more than a few miles BECAUSE THE ALTERNATOR IS BAD AND BATTERY DOESNT CHARGE which among other things is required for the engine to spark! I understand the point, but my question is rather simple, just give me an answer. Not to mention, this issue is not that difficult to diagnose. Im no mechanic, but I am an electrical engineering student and I have the ability to read the English on my dashboard which says REPLACE ALTERNATOR. and use a volt-meter to see that the voltage is below 10 volts when running! The battery was replaced very recently too, so not that. I ended up taking it over to Willies and got the alternator replaced that same day for a great price, and I havent had any issues since. Please treat your customers with respect, dont mock them, and you might retain their business.

Don’t bother calling Bob! We purchased a starter for our truck because it was hesitating and we were traveling across country and we didn’t want want to get stuck. Does Bob care? Nope! He wants us to take our unopened product back to Napa and pay a restocking fee. He won’t use a product unless he bought it.

SCAMMERS! Used them once and liked them. So when our car broke down we called them again. They said their tow guy would charge no more than$80 for the 2.5 mile tow. Bob got our car Tuesday morning and by Friday afternoon nothing had been done. They refused to work on it because they wanted to replace things we felt unnecessary for almost $500 more than the $1200 we were already spending. We told them we were going elsewhere and they said we owed them$95 for towing and$39 for diagnosis. We finally agreed on$80 for towing and$39 for them doing nothing when we already knew what the car needed. Then come to find out we used the same exact towing company and the same exact guy for $65 to go further distance to a different mechanic!

We live in NC and our son is in college down in Lakeland. His car died and we were scrambling to find a place to get his car fix at an honest and reasonable rate. We found Just Call Bob and honestly they have been the best! We will be sending our son there from now on for his car needs. I wish we lived near them so we could take all our cars there. They have been so nice to work with. They are honest and saved us money where they could. They took a horrible care situation and made it better. I highly recommend this place!

Excellent service from this family oriented repair shop. Bobs wife handles the day to day calls and paperwork, and Bob is the mechanic. They both are very nice to deal with and very knowledgeable about the many vehicles out there. I called them to have repair work done on my Land Rover and they were able to order the parts with a few days and keep in contact with me the whole time until it was time to bring in it in for repair. I dropped my vehicle off and it was completed with one day. Bob did an awesome job and I highly recommend him and the company for any work on your vehicle that is needed. Ive had a couple of very good repair experiences with these folks. They do a great job, and do it right at a reasonable price. If having a car repaired can be a good experience, this is probably about as good as it will get. They are very customer focused too, which is refreshing!

Have my fuel pump done here. It took 2 days because he needed to replace a wire harness. When m wife went to pick the car up, the bill was $100 more than quoted. I on the phone and politely asked if he could work with me on the price which he did. The next day car mysterious had a new issue and I called him. He refused to work on my car again because I cheated him out of his profit!! Even though he got $600 for a fuel pump.UPDATE:car is at a different shop getting a fuel pump AGAIN because BOBS refused to work on it saying that the fuel pump was fine! Ill being you the bill when its done Bob!

I live in Jacksonville and travel to Bob for my repairs. He is reliable, reasonable, and fair. He does not recommend maintenance or fixes my car doesnt need. This is a great shop! Bob is also certified on hybrid cars (which is great for my Prius.) I cant recommend him highly enough.

I brought them my Mazda rx8 and knowing it was a unique car trusted them to fix it. They kept my car for a total of 4 weeks and always had an excuse as to why there has been no progress. I always had to contact them as they never messaged me first to let me know any updates. They still charged me 100 dollars after a month and told me they thought it was my pcm and they couldnt fix it. He also left my pcm out of my car and didnt put it back after his diagnostic. I took it to the Mazda dealership who had it diagnosed as having a flooded engine within a day. Now the car is completely fixed and they did what Bob couldnt do in an entire month in one day. If you are in any rush to get your car back or have a unique car I would take it somewhere else.
