The staff is Uber friendly and helpful. The green are a little rough. Nice pace of play challenges for every skill level.

Great day, not rushed. The grass isnt very well groomed (even after freshly cut). Its a nice long course and friendly staff. Not happy about the hidden recoup fee which was not made known or explained.

Really gone downhill in the past 4 months or so. It doesn’t seem like they maintain the course in any aspect, from the tee boxes (which is essentially hitting driver from the rough), to the bunkers which are disheveled with grass growing in them, and the greens which are very long and slow (not to mention covered in weeds and bare spots).I used to think this place was a great value, but now it’s just a waste of time and money. If you’re looking for a cheap round, there’s too many other good options in the area to ever come back to Wedgewood.

First let me say I will never complain about 18 holes and a cart for less than $20. This was a Hot Deal on Golf Now so any judgment goes out the window.The course is in rough shape from Tees to fairways to greens. Maintenance is not a priority here, so just be aware. There is plenty of sand to gobble up errant shots so course management is important. Tee boxes are high and fluffy, fairways are dry and spotted and the greens are bumpy and difficult to keep your line.This might be a good learning course for young / new players, but for seasond players there are better options available. The layout is slightly confusing with minimal signage and it traverses through a development.

Great round of golf. Fairly inexpensive on a weekday. Had a good time.

While the course could be in some better shape; most notably the teeing grounds need to have fewer bear-patches, the fairways need to be cut shorter, better signage directing you to each tee box, and the carts tidier, overall for the $25 green fee, it is worth it. The greens are in decent shape, and the rough is pretty well maintained.If you’re looking for a cheaper, less formal golf experience, this is a good place to do it

The new greens are coming in very nice. A most pleasurable putting experience today. The course was in good shape inspite of the recent rains.

The course is overpriced for what you get. Cleveland Heights has a much nicer course for less money. The golf carts are terrible and jerky; they may give you whiplash. The driving range is poor quality; you have to hit off mats because the grass is in terrible shape. Go somewhere else.

Course is very rough not in good shape, greens are terrible i missed 4 birdie puts cause the greens were not mowed and patches everywhere if they fixed the greens it would be playable

Worst golf course in Lakeland play it all the time but its only cuz its cheap they dont cut the grass they dont keep the grounds clean they dont weed eat anything to all trash please do not go here

Just heard golf course sold to developer for multifamily project. Horrible news if this is true.

Its a friendly atmosphere and everyone is willing to help a newcomer to golf such as my self. Great place to learn and practice.

I would like to complain about wedgewood, the place is awful, i was told that putting was free, but that is not true, the boss kicked us out after we went out to practice the driver and then we went out to the putting course to train my nephew, and they kicked us out even though they let people in for free before us.

I enjoyed wedgewood today.

Its a dump. End of story!

I have played this golf course many times. I have recently called it weed wood due to the teeboxes and weeds everywhere. Today I was finishing the 9th hole and the manager shows up on his golf cart and says we are shutting it down because of the storm, it took me a couple of seconds to figure out what he said because he was trashed!! The cart attendant ask if I wanted a rain check? My reply was no, I dont plan on ever coming back. My advice is play some where else.

Golfers deliberately hitting balls at passing cars. Management refuses to do anything about it.

We really enjoyed are day. Had a lot of fun. There is noise from I-4. Fairways and greens are in great shape. The rough needs a little attention. We will come back.

Hit or miss. Most of the golfers here suck are old or cannot golf. Carts are old old old, and they need to be replaced. The greens run at 6 or 7 on the Stemp Meter. Soooo SLOW..Budget golfing.

Been playing there for years. Course is not bad. Left my range finder on the cart at the end of the day and called back next day. No one found it. Shame on me for leaving it but likewise on the other end. I won’t go back. Dishonesty

Greens were green, slow but green. Everything else just works if you are only paying slightly more than what you out are happy to pay for a cart alone....

This is our favorite course. They have been making wonderful improvements all around. The price is right and the staff are great.

This course is not safe for cars or kids.The owner fails to make sure that safety is a number one priority. The course is designed in such a way that it is dangerous to people walking past and cars, as balls are flying all across moving vehicles.The course appears to be be very blah and basic and no thought or consideration put into it for safety or design.I would not recommend.Save your money.

Played the course for the first time on 03-17-2019. I enjoyed it, friendly people, arrived early with no tee time and got right out. Ive played at a worse course for a lot more money, Ill definitely be back, with friends.

Just played there today the course was excellent but the manager in the club house was drunk and very disorderly....

Course is nice, but very poor maintenance. Fairways look like rough on some holes, greens are very slow. If they improve the course maintenance, this could be a really nice golf course to play.

Advertised rate was $25 but they charged us $32. Course needs work! Much better places to play for $30+

In Lakeland Florida during the rain season many courses are very wet. Wedgewood is elevated. Keep it in the fairway. Have fun

We have always enjoyed golfing at Wedgewood the price of the fair and the people are friendly.

Good condition, greens were consistent, and friendly flexible staff. You do have to play a little bit of frogger with the cars sharing parts of the cart path, but nothing crazy.

Considering all the rain we had the day before, the course was on pretty good condition.
