This is a great Safeway location. It does get busy at times, and I suppose it would be nice if they had a few extra self check-out lanes. Aside from that, I like this location.

This is a great Safeway in the middle of Wyoming. We come to this store often, and it is a great store situated in the middle of Wyoming. It offers excellent selection and competitive prices. Ive had nothing but good experiences at this store.

Dont get to shop at Safeway much, we dont have them where we live, so its nice when we go out of town to be able to.

Was disappointed that you couldnt get a vaccine as a walk-in we were traveling and it Was Monday Had only Wed or Sat available it seemed funny that we asked if they had the Pfizer and they said that they did but it would be expired Tues so on Wed it wouldnt be available. Doesnt anyone know theres a epidemic and best to vaccinate period.

Other than a few items they dont stock . I like to shop this place very much. Mostly because they have the best staff in the area

I have been going to this Safeway store since they opened the new one many many years ago would someone please explain to the younger employees that walking 2 abreast down the aisles and expecting the customers to move out of the way is not good customer service. I have not shopped at Mr. Ds since the new Safeway store opened but if I have one more experience like I had to day and over the last 3 trips I will be patronizing them again.

1st time there things were easy to find and prices were affordable.

Beautiful store, but were traveling and dont have a Safeway discount card. We didnt get sale prices and regular prices are high.

Best Safeway I have seen been. Coming into Safeways in the 1950s with my folks. They where never as nice as this. Or stocked as well. The Daycor. Is way better. Brought a Classmate over here from Thermopolis. Where we live she use to teach school here. I drove here to see an Eye doctor across the street. We came here and shopped before heading back to thermop. This place has our store look small. Better prices. Some items. Came by yesterday. Grabbed a few things. Just out riding around in my new car LoL. Figured while I was here heading home from Sinks Canyon. And a few other places. I visited.

Harry is the man in the deli. I’ve never ordered sliced meats or cheeses from any deli anywhere because it’s kinda intimidating. Harry was super helpful and friendly and helped me pick out some great meats and cheeses! Thank you!

Had all we needed

A typical grocery store, except that the staff left much to be desired. Every other aisle had someone stocking shelves, which wouldn’t bother me, except none of them seemed to consider that people needed to use the aisle, and had them blocked. Only one lady was apologetic. The rest seemed to feel I was an inconvenience for shopping at 6:30 in the morning. Only begrudgingly and with poor attitude did they move their blockages. The check-out lanes seemed confused about who was supposed to be working. I was turned away from one of the two attended lanes, only to be directed back to it by the other. Both seemed to think they were closing their lane. Very poor organization. I would have used the automated check-out stands, except they hadn’t yet been activated for the day. Most grocery stores I’ve gone to in the early am hours have the auto lines ready the moment they open, to save on staff at a time of low traffic.

Found what I needed and store employees were helpful and friendly. When I got to the front register there was a line but a cashier opened another register and took care of me. I live all the goodies from the bakery and the folks in the deli are friendly and attentive. I got some fresh ground beef today and the gent at the meat counter helped me like a pro.

I like the whole chain of food stores: Albertsons, Safeway, and Vons. We are on a Rv trip and stocked up on favorites: Cheese dip, guacamole, orzo salad, lemon cappillini salad, sushi, soy sauce, tortilla chips, fruit salad. Easy stuff to store and eat cold.

Convenient, good service

Very nice place to visit with very polite and nice workers also there is a sushi bar and a Starbucks inside of the establishment you can buy almost anything you want here from very good local steaks to the necessities like toothpaste and deodorant.

I liked it better before the remodel, I mean.. The remodel definitely looks better, but its so hard to find anything in there now. Most of the staff are great though.

Seems like a great place to get a quick bite of sushi and I have always loved their soup. When self-checkout is opened the lines move pretty quick. Their Bakery used to be a lot better all around in general the store has what you need.

Usually pretty busy, you can catch it at times when shopping is easy. Very nice deli with Sushi and small table area to sit. Starbucks is inside and does a good deal of business. Good selection.

Aisle are to close. Too many people not enough room.

Great store...our only starbucks!

I waited in a line for fifteen minutes to check out two zucchinis. The checkers showed no sympathy and they did nothing to quicken the experience. The self-checkouts there are also notoriously hard to use and are always crammed. The deli is okay and the new remodel looks nice but the new organization makes it very hard to find anything. Theres a Starbucks there but its always packed and Ive waited over ten minutes there before I could even order on a Wednesday. Id shop at Mr. Ds over Safeway any day!

If they quit moving things around it might be better. If youre handicapped the store is too big to walk. However, they do have electric carts.

I was in Lander to visit the cemetery and stopped in the Safeway to buy flowers. As I walked in, there were T-shirts of Red Canyon which my Grandmas family had owned. I bought several but not enough for everyone in the family. I called last week and spoke to Adam, the assistant store manager to see if he could possibly send some shirts to me. He was very helpful and seemed happy to do this for me. I received the shirts today and am so thankful for the assistance provided by Adam and his assistant, Katrina. What great customer service! I definitely will continue to shop there when Im in Lander!

I really like both grocery stores in Lander. Both are well run and both support our community. I am grateful that we have more than one grocery store in town.

This is an amazing supermarket, especially in the middle of nowhere and cow country. Many people in Lander are very food conscious. Safeway carries a great number of organic, gluten free and GMO free foods. They have a large organic produce section and a fresh, made while you wait, sushi bar, a well stocked deli, a fresh meat and seafood counter,. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. Larry, the manager is always helpful and available.

I am so disappointed in the rewards program. The free reward item says you can one thing but does not specify what type you can get. For example, a free Signature Select pizza is awarded but does not clarify what KIND to get. They were all out of all the other pizza so I got a 3 meat one and it was NOT free. Again I got free large eggs reward, got the eggs NOT free. Ice cream same thing. No specifications on type. This is hard to navigate.

Nice, clean store. The prices are generally a little bit high, as is to be expected from Safeway or any other higher-end grocery store, but they make up for it with some pretty good sales.I understand that in a low-population neighborhood a 24-hour store wouldnt be economical, but 11pm is a little early to close when theres nothing else around.

A very nice store with a great deli

We ordered 2 meals to go of chicken fried rice and chow mein and 2 pics of chicken rolls. The quality was measly and quality was terrible. We paid $5.99 plus tax each. Service was slow. Not a meal you want to order or eat again. The food was tasteless. The food at Panda Express was far superior.

I have always done my shopping at our local Safeway. The new store is big, bright and very clean. Their meat prizes are a little high but in the time of our economy, what can we expect. Most all of the employees know me by name and will go out of their way to make sure I find what I need. Other than the store having only two check out lines open, when it is very busy, I enjoy shopping here.

Staff is great except dont go expecting to get in and out with something for lunch as the deli department is ALWAYS under staffed and the people there just dont move with any sense of purpose maybe the store manager needs to spend some time in there to see what it is like and get them done help
