I was very happy with the meal. The grits were very good, and Im not usually a fan of grits in a restaurant...but these tasted like they came out of grandmas pots. Its too bad they didnt have steak or chicken to go with the eggs. Not even turkey bacon, but oh well. We went there twice for the weekend and it was a good meal both times. Service was a little slow at times, but I would definitely come back.

This place is a gem. It was my first time there and we were impressed. We were just passing thru and went there with some family. The food is really good. They have a limited menu but what they have is awesome stuff. If you are not a pork eater byo meat. They have cream cip beef that is your only meat choice but its good. Look it up if you are in the area.
The West Main Diner is a local gem of the North Penn community. A cash-only establishment, my personal weaknesses are their breakfast specials, life affirming waffles, cheddar cheese grits, and #FlavorOfTheWeek coffees!!!They offer a variety of breakfast, lunch and on select days, dinner items.. However, Ive only sampled their breakfast deliciousness.

This place has become a favorite of my sons as a birthday breakfast destination. The food is typical but well-made diner fare and is always a hit and the service, even when theyre busy, is always on top of our needs. If you go though, be sure to bring cash as they dont take cards and the ATM will likely cost you a fee.

It’s 1pm on at Saturday. I called three times today to place an order for takeout, because that’s all they are offering due to the pandemic, and the third time they declined my call right away. It states they are open... very unprofessional, I won’t be returning.
Good all-around dinner food, friendly staff, with a great baker on turning or cookies and desserts. They can be over crowded on Saturday and Sunday mornings, but we have never had trouble going for weekday lunch or breakfast.They are cash - only but if you forget there is an atm just inside the door

One of the only diners who have scrapple. Their homemade raisin bread is delicious. The grits are perfectly cooked and ready to eat! No need to add anything to them! Props to the cook! Ive only been to the diner for breakfast.

Just a classic breakfast diner for us. We cant but help come back every Saturday or Sunday morning. Good omelets, really good home fries, just an all around good place to eat. I started getting lunches here too which are turning out to be pretty good. Debbie is our fav! Always friendly and good service from her.

Went in for a nice breakfast Tuesday morning with my husband, his dad and his dads brother. Everything was fantastic. From service to the food. The cook (Kaitlyn) was fantastic and our server (Joanne) was fantastic as well. No other place does it like West main. Highly recommended. Will for sure be back :)
I ate here with family this morning and it was a great experience. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was good as well. The owner was nice and funny. I would recommend this place to friends and family, especially when Kaitlyn is cooking!
I cant believe Im going to have to change my opinion of the West Main Diner. I brought my mom there for breakfast this morning. Usually I only bring her there on weekends and sometimes for lunch. In my previous review I said they had the best bacon well thats not so now the Bacon came to the table and it was cooked to a cinder, I asked if I could get different bacon the waitress came back with more bacon that was almost as bad as the first bacon all along I felt as if I was getting attitude from her. I think Ill take my mom to the American Star Diner which is off of route 63 near North Wales Road from now on in. You know they cant afford to be aggravating their dwindling customer base.

West Main Diner...is a great place to eat, its outer appearance is a blank canvas. Inside you are greeted with a charming american diner. The warmth of the staff and owner complements the great food. The owner is a real character who jokes with customers that gives the place a homely feel that ensures that you come back time and time again.

Go here every weekend, waitress Debbie is 10 stars. Always pleasant always ready to help. Owner always has a warm welcome on entrance as well as exit. Food is ALWAYS good. Portions well above average. The people who complain are most likely the same people who ALWAYS complain no matter where they go. The place is packed on the weekends and you always see faces you have seen before which means obviously people return.
Arrived near closing and were seated, served, and out in less than half hour. All the food was exceptional and obviously fresh made. We will be back.

The food is good but not worth the price. I can get food just as good elsewhere for much less. Me, my friend and my 2 year old costs $28. Normally it costs about $22 for breakfast. Good food. Overpriced
Watch they do not know how to make toast. They served it burnt to the two of us. We had to send the blackened toast back. Then We got barely toasted bread in place of the burnt ones. Beware of what you order.
Lousy. Absolutely pathetic. This place was amazing when they were the Ambler Grill (in Ambler). They moved to Lansdale and they are just awful. Coffee tasted old, but is likely due to not cleaning the urn. Hardly any customers in the place yet none of our food was hot. Hash browns were just potatoes cut in large unpeeled chunks (like in a stew), served unseasoned and white (no brown or crunch to them). Garbage. Toast was cool and limp. Eggs were cooked light as requested but were not hot. Scrapple was room temperature. French toast had little flavor and was also limp. I think they use a bread that is not suitable for French toast. Even if they did, they need to tweak the recipe. Bathrooms are edgy. The place isnt that old and there are smudges and hand prints everywhere which makes you wonder how dirty the food prep area is.Our waitress was efficient and friendly which is why I gave 2 stars. If they dont want to try any harder than this they should just close.
Quiet brunch on black friday. Service was attentive; the four of us in our party, meeting for the first time, didnt feel rushed through our conversation. Everyone enjoyed their eggs or sandwiches.
Reasonable but not huge portions. Me mother-in-law loves the chicken salad sandwiches. My wife had yummy pancakes tonight, and I had a country omelet (sausage, tomato, pepper, and onion). All good.

Yesterday morning as I ventured down Main Street during a snow storm, I figured, why not stop in Main Street Diner and indulge in a hardy breakfast to warm up a bit. I must say,it was my first time here, and although it was packed, I was greeted by smiling faces who immediately led me to a cozy table . My server, Joanne, was very friendly & served me a delicious glass of OJ . Next, I met a gentlemen, Don, I believe to be the manager - he was so charming & genuine. Don shook my hand, told me a funny story, and threw in some jokes as well. Finally, my breakfast arrived, and it was nothing less than AMAZING!! The most perfect home fried potatoes and a hardy egg white omelette filled with a generous amount of only fresh vegetables. Upon leaving, the staff were giving away their holiday poinsettias, so I was lucky enough to grab a beautiful blue one. I left Main Street Diner feeling happy, full & content. Ill definitely be back soon.

They served their eggs sunny-side up, which I didnt ask for since I asked for over-easy. And, even if I had asked for SSU eggs, they werent cooked well enough and still had that snotty consistency of the egg white around the yolk, altogether, I didnt eat anything except for the potatoes. Also, if you ask for juice be sure to request ice b/c otherwise you just get a cup of room temperature juice. I will say, their potatoes are pretty decent, but every other part of the meal wasnt.
We had lunch at the West Main Diner today. My friend and I shared a Patty Melt. She asked for a slice of onion on the side. When the check came there was a 60 cent charge for the onion. We questioned the server and she said she would go talk to someone. A few minutes later a man walked up with a menu and told us that there is a 60 cent charge for a side of onions. We said she only got a little slice. He went into a screaming tirade, told us its people like us that make his job so miserable. He walked away and yelled to his staff, he hopes we never come back. We paid our bill, left a $2 tip on the table and walked out. He followed us out the door screaming we are never to come back and threw the $2 tip on the ground at us. What a wonderful way to treat your customers! Needless to say, we wont be back. Having a bad day??
