Ironically an alternative gun shop referred my husband and I to CMP because of the military discount they offer. They do offer special pricing for military, law enforcement, etc., very much appreciated thank you CMP for your generosity. Customer service, its excellent. We where treated with respect and approached promptly upon arrival. Our sales associate took his time to help us, was informative and knowledgeable. CMP will certainly be our first choice from here on out.

Good selection and helpful staff. Customers should be aware however that the staff do not wear protective masks. All three staff members assisting customers were not wearing masks nor were several of the customers. Whether they choose to wear a mask during their personal time is their choice however it was disappointing to see the disregard for the health and safety of their customers during this current health pandemic.

They have a lot to choose from at very reasonable prices. The knowledgeable and helpful staff make sure you get what you need if its available, and (as I personally observed) make sure the customer fully understands the use of their new weapon.

They have a good selection of about anything .I purchased a baby browning there and have had them do transfers for other weapons. The building is fairly obscure with limited advertising. Give them a try .

I contacted Them on a Monday to transfer a firearm they ensured me that they would be open and I could receive my firearm on the day it was arriving. I contacted them four hours after my transfer arrived. Cathy is the person I spoke to she told me that she did receive the firearm but didn’t have time to transfer it to me and they would be off until after Easter. While trying to explain my frustration she hung up on me several times. I have spent hundreds of dollars buying just ammunition at this place but never again. One of the worst customer experiences I’ve had. I could have had the firearm shipped anywhere in Lansing or surrounding area but only did to CMP because they insured me they would be able to do the transfer.

I have never had a time they didn’t take care of me or my needs.✊🏽

They would be a 5 star easily if not for items not in Stock that you have to order. On several occasions, I have ordered items not in stock and after waiting two weeks, have called them to find out my orders status. Each time, not in yet and I am also advised that they will call me. I have never been called and I end up ordering online. With that being said, Michigan Police Equipment is no different. If you need the item and its not in Stock, ORDER ONLINE!!!

Had a Amazing experience with CMP! Went in today in the hopes of buying a Colt AR not knowing what is in store for our country, I figured I should we should pick one up while we still can. Steven Morris did an excellent job finding the rifle I wanted and I got a great deal for the gun I bought. Also they are the only place around that still has .223 ammo and 30 round mags that I know of.

This is a good police supply store decent selection of equipment and firearms, they participate in the blue label program, and are friendly and helpful, not open on weekends.

Nice place. But they dont sell their body armor to regular non police folk. Which isnt that great of an issue because body armor is easy to procure via the Internet. But just in case you wanted to buy armor local and not use the Internet. Im merely posting this to save anyone a trip.
