I went here to look for bolts for my parker crossbow. The lady in front told me that they went out of business and I was out of luck. Then we were looking at an item they had for sale and she told us she didnt have time for us to be asking about that item. I left and wont ever be back. I went to another archery shop (arrowhead archery) and they hooked me up with bolts for my crossbow. Overall it was an unhelpful, unfriendly experience.

If you want to experience what its like to be mugged, this is the store for you. A saleswoman discriminates against consumers, freely modifies pricing (more expensive), and even tries to get more money by obscuring the payment amount. Geez, doesnt she know this is fraud?

They call themselves an archery shop but when I called looking for heavy spine arrows (I specifically asked for 200 or 250 spine) the arrow lady told me point blank sorry to tell you but if you think 200 and 250 spine arrows are heavy spines you are simply wrong in a condescending tone. Then proceeded to tell me how she has 10 years of experience in the business and that she knows arrows. Im not sure how a person can spend 10 years in the archery industry and not know how spine deflection is measured and what it means, but somehow they dont. Moral of the story, these people are not qualified to give advice on arrow selection and I cant imagine they are any more knowledgeable in the more technical areas of archery.

I came in early one Saturday morning to pick out a crossbow after 8 months researching Xbows and Len spent allot of time helping me decide what to buy. I have been to shops that won’t even say hello let alone share knowledge that is actually helpful. So b4 you buy online check this shop out.Follow Up: Had user error with the new Ravin went in day before opening day (they were extremely busy) and they helped me figure out my problem, I appreciate the service I received.

Some will agree with me here, and some will agree with the business and thats ok. But My experience here yesterday after being referred to them for warranty repair work by Tenpoint Crossbows was horrible. When I walked in the lady was nice & pleasant, spoke to me for a couple moments with no issue. As soon as I walked into the back section and the gentlemen saw me, he curtly asked me if I had a mask. I told him no, I actually have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing one. They then tried to argue against that and I tried to politely explain to them the Governors EO explicitly provided an exemption for this very situation. They told me that if I didnt put on a mask, I had to leave. Begrudgingly, I complied without saying anything else as I knew I would only be there a few minutes, and figured Id probably be ok. When I came back in, the lady made some remark about me changing my mind. I replied, telling her that I was only doing it because they are who Tenpoint referred me to for the warranty work and that if it were a matter of me simply spending money here, or elsewhere, I would simply go elsewhere. She said she was sorry I felt that way, and the rest of the interaction was completely cordial. Despite our obvious disagreement, both individuals that were actually there for my interaction were polite and professional while we concluded our business. Then, later in the afternoon, Len called me and told me to come pick up my bow, that he did not want to work on it because of my comment about not wanting to spend money in business that force me to wear a mask that I am not supposed to, in direct violation of the EO. This was completely unnecessary, the situation was squashed. As stated, the rest of the interaction with both individuals who were actually there at the time was polite and cordial. He chose to bring it back up for what I can only assume is his political grandstanding or something. He said he gets plenty of business and didnt need mine. He could have used this as an opportunity to heal the divide that we are all dealing with right now and gain a new customer. But instead, he re-ignited the whole situation and completely alienated me for no good reason whatsoever. I get that Michigan business have been put in a very awkward position because of this governors horrible EOs asking them to basically act as law enforcement that they are not. If a business chooses to comply with that, then they should understand the supposed laws they are enforcing. After being treated this way, I will never go here again. Arrowhead Archery is my normal go-to archery spot in the area, I highly recommend them over these guys.

Len & shannon are the best, very knowledgeable, are always able to get me in what Im looking for at a decent price.brick and mortor will never be able to compete with internet prices, but they do the best they can. Id rather spend my money with mom and pops anyday. There pleasant demeanor and ability to go above and beyond make shopping mom and pops worth the couple extra dollars. Rickey Bobby

Not the first place I called. A man named Len patiently talked to me on the phone and helped me regarding a crossbow that needed repair. I had many questions, and he actually had answers for the questions I didnt know to ask. I knew this was where I was taking my crossbow. As it turn out, I have an old Hoyt Ultra Tec compound. Im having them recondition it for me. I miss hunting with a bow. Ill just say my first impression on the phone was excellent, and my trip to the store and conversation with their staff, reinforced they will get all my business. I hope others do the same so they keep the doors open.

I brought my bow in for warranty work and was VERY disappointed with the quality and price of the work performed. After I received my bow back, the idler wheel had severe lean and I could not get a good paper tune. The bow had to be re-setup and tuned but I was not putting my bow back in their hands. I found the staff to be less than knowledgeable. I also experienced varying prices dependent on the sales person, what kind of business does that? NOT HAPPY!

Drove over 50 miles to go here. I was looking for a new bow. When I arrived and walked in, It was VERY disappointing only to see that they had about 15 or so bows behind the counter. you would think that with the name they have chosen they would have a better section of bows. The commercials are misleading.saying they have the largest selection. However I know of other stores that are not big box chain stores that have 2-5 times the inventory that they had. When I talked to the staff, they were very rude, did not like what I had to say, walked away, and left me standing there and never asked if I needed help again. They have a very limited supply of left handed bows. I went to another store and bought a left and right handed bow. One for me and my teen. They are very over priced. The bow I was looking at was $200 more then where I bough it.

This place is a complete waste of time. I took my bow there to get it fully tuned on Tuesday and I didnt hear a word from them until Friday morning saying they just started looking at my bow and that my string had frayed significantly by the peep sight. They kept pushing me to buy a new string over the phone before even looked at it (I dont remember any significant breaks in my string when I dropped it off). Anyways, I get down there and the bow tech is showing me the frays and told me that I need a new string, which I did. Then I asked how are the cables and he was hesitant and seemed unsure but I maybe should have them replaced too I asked are you suppose to know? Anywho, I asked how much and how long. They told me $140 for everything and 10 days and I grabbed my bow got a refund for the tune and got out of there a soon as possible. They were trying to sell me top of the line strings that I never asked for. Im a poor college student, Im not hunting for trophies out west, I just want some meat in the freezer. These people dont care about the hunting experience at all. All they care about is how fat is your wallet.

This place is a very good archery range, and it is fun for all ages. Before I went here I wasnt a good shooter, and i did not know the commands. But after going here just once, I have learned everything I needed to know. After going here I started going to archery clubs, and at one of those clubs, there was a tournament being held there, and from what i learned here. I earned a First place medal with 189 points out of 210 available. This place has changed my shooting by making me better. These people really know what they are doing.

High quality equipment. Probably pay a little more than dunhams type store. But they know how to get you set up with the right equipment. No offense to the 19 year old kid working there. But c&c has experienced people that will get you the right size for you. We all arent 5 ft 9in. Having things set up for YOU is priceless. If something goes wrong with it is that youngster going to be able to help? Im putting my money on the pros at c&c. If you need a string changed do you want to spend hours on youtube trying to figure out how? These folks sell things they believe in and can match the parts an accesories after the sale.

I went there looking for information on buying my first crossbow..... i figured that the name meant they would know what they were talking about. when i walked in first of all the women running the place didnt even say hello or anything. she just kinda barked what do ya need....... and so i started to ask questions. about crossbows. but it seemed like i was bothering her. when i asked her about a crossbow i had found online used.....i was asking weather or not that was a good bow and if the price was right she interrupted me and said im not here to sell someone else bow for them and walked away in another room for employees only leaving me in the store alone......what she didnt realize is that if i would bought the bow......which i did because another store answered my questions.....that i was going to spend well 600 in accessories and rang time on the bow thats like buying a new bow but her loss i hope they go out of business so a better more customer oriented place can open there
