I absolutely love Michaels! I have found in my coming age, that arts and crafts helps with my stress, and its pretty fun! HOWEVER, I did visit the store recently and collected a few things that I was going to purchase, I asked the cashier to hold my basket. I had to go and get some more money. I left, and was gone maybe a little over an hour.It was early, (6:00p) they dont close till 9:00 or 10:00. When I came back they had put away my basket. I was pretty irritated about that! She said because I was gone so long!?!?!It just made me lose my train of thought and I was disappointed. Other than that Ill go back. Ill just make sure Im prepared.

Sign out front said Temporarily Closed yet it was lit up like a Christmas tree. It would be nice if they had a Social Media page that people could look at so they would know if they were closed. I drove a long ways to go to that store. I ended up having to make my purchase elsewhere. Buy thats ok, I discovered a new store to start going to instead of this one that is not necessarily customer oriented.

I really like the lay out of this store. The staff is also great at helping me when I cant find what I am looking for.

There were a lot of empty shelves and I was only able to find about half of what I needed but the store was clean and organized and the employees were friendly and helpful.

Good a little short on product but looking good after the fire.

We found everything we needed for our sons college graduation 🎓 open house next month. When we couldnt find something we asked one of their employees named Anthony and he gave us great service with a smile and even asked if we found what we were looking for. Michaels is very lucky to have such an outstanding employee, you cant find them in all the other stores 👍⭐☺️🌼.

Always a great place to shop. Loads of inspiration on every isle. Even when I only need one thing I will walk the entire store. Staff has always been helpful even when I am picking up an online order.

I found what I was looking for rather easily.

We were on a mad binge buying trip to purchase Tshirts for an upcoming project. The shirts were normally marked 3.99 but were half off. 3 stores and 406 shirts later, I arrived home with the trunk of our car stuffed to the brim. The staff and Managers at all 3 locations were wonderful and extremely helpful. On top of our phenomenal savings, we also recieved 40 percent off coupons for future discounts down the road. The stores were very nicely laid out and the floor plan snd setup was essentially the same making for a eady trip in and out. Watch for those coupons and special sales. We saved a TON of money today. Thank you Michaels arts and crafts.

I wanted to look around in Michaels since I hadnt been there in a while. I looked in the store and found some yarn in colors I wanted. There were some empty bins so i dont know if I would have gotten more. I was happy though with what I got. I will go back again.

Very friendly staff. Was greeted numerous times but because everyone was nice & genuinely wanted to make sure my trip was going smoothly. Found my art supplies & then some. My favorite location as they are always helpful & courteous 🥰

Someone needs to teach the unhappy girl with the short dyed red hair behind the counter how to work a cash register. Amazon has everything you have at half the price minus the poor customer service.

The employees there are very friendly and skilled at bringing customers project ideas to life. Im also impressed by the wide selection of paper products! The only reason I rate it 4 stars is because every time Ive been, theres always been a very long line at the cash register.

Very rude manager. Takes advantage of Elderly. Wont help, to busy. Says ask someone else. When I told her I cant find anyone, she goes to the item I need and throws in my cart. She then huffy away.

Perfectly ordinary Michaels store. Same inventory they have everywhere else. Its nice that they are serving as a UPS pickup point.

Been going for almost a yr trying to find printable rubber backing for hooked rugs. Kept being told it was coming but with covid. Deliveries are undeterminable. Well covid crises is now slowing & now Im told its discontinued. Wish they had said that before, well back to ordering online....this is why stores are loosing customers. We try to support them and they lie to us then no longer selling it. Ive been going here 15+ yrs primarily for this product. Bye bye Michaels....maybe youll be the next one closing?

Its been quite awhile since I shopped at Michaels. The store has changed a lot. Didnt feel so welcoming anymore. Scrapbooking supplies limited. Paper, albums not so much to choose from. Craft paint aisle very empty...i realize restock supplies may be limited. Didnt find very good sales. I used to find everything i need in one stop & couldnt. Hobby Lobby has some better sales/prices on some items i was looking for

Ive always loved Michaels and appreciate their very helpful and polite staff, my one issue with Michaels is that they never have enough registers open to care for customer volume. Penny pinching to the point of forcing people to wait in line for the next available associate. The associate who helped me was polite and quick to work, but she cant be expected to do everything on her own.

Michaels has a good selection of a variety of craft goods. I particularly like looking through their seasonal supplies to make wreaths and other projects. Their yarn selection is one of the better ones in the area, and they often have coupons (and you can use as many as you want, which is always nice). For my non-sewing craft needs, Michaels is usually my go-to place.

They always have what I need. The cashier was really nice. I love the way I can look an item up on their website, and it tells me if they have it, at my nearest store, with an isle number. Makes my visit easy and pleasant.

Michaels is awesome!!! Just walking around the store and checking out all the great items they carry always inspires me to create something. I often go in without any idea of what Im even looking for, but always walk out with something that makes me smile.

Michaels is a craft shop with very knowledgeable staff. Usually well organised, its one of three places in Lansing that does quality framing of art. I like their selection but I can never tell if I am paying too much, because they have this habit of over-marking up the price so that they can offer a steep discount to make you feel good about your deal. So be aware of typical selling prices at other stores before committing to that piece . Chances are, you will not be paying too much if its on sale.

Michaels was a nice visit, the store was very clean, the staff was very warm and friendly and overall inviting. The prices didn’t seem too bad neither. I was looking for quite a few things that day i went and sadly found myself having to go to the Walmart across the street for the missing materials which is a little disappointing for them but all things considered, its a very welcoming place to go and shop for hobby materials.

Recommended for those talented in knitting and all sorts of art and crafts.

Helpful staff, huge selection, can use more then one coupon per check-out. Purchased picture frame for mothers birthday gift and craft supplies for anniversary present. With the help of staff came out great.

Well stocked craft store with pretty much everything you could want art related. They even have some home goods and holiday decorations as well!

Their yarn supply was lacking variety. Maybe they are in between seasons or something.

Michaels is a go-to for craft supplies for my family. The staff is helpful, and the cashier this last time helped us save money with coupons and was sweet and delightful even though it was closing time. There are some excellent deals and coupons are usually available online.

Customer Service during Covid 19 is extremely important. This Michaels location has failed at this. Customers should always be first. Bending over backwards and making exceptions to help a waiting customer are what great managers and employees should be doing all the time and all the time. This is why chain stores are disappearing. Shop local instead! I will find a small mom and pop to shop from now on. They need my money. Micheals, clearly does not

The store has really went downhill in recent years. It is becoming a Hobby Lobby instead of a craft store. They have gotten rid of.most of their cake decorating supplies and their instruction magazines/books. Very disappointed at the lack of crafts.

I love this craft store! I can usually find a new project to work on. So many different items/departments in the store. Plus I love the Spooky Town village they sell. Every year there are new items (buildings, figures, etc.) to add to my village. The staff is also very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

I am obsessed with Michaels. They always have the art supplies that Im looking for at an extremely reasonable price. They also have a super pretty home decor section. I always end up leaving with more than I needed to get. The staff is always helpful whenever I cant find something.

Had the best craft store experience today. The multiple employees I spoke to were very kind and helpful. Hats off especially to Zak at the register for being polite, caring and funny! Seems like a great young man. Would definitely recommend.

I asked for help looking for an item and an employee knew the exact aisle right away, she was very nice! My cashier was also very kind and even offered me coupons when I didnt have them! Everything you could need, I mainly come for baking supplies. The customer service is great, I cant recall the woman that works the register but she has blonde hair and she is the nicest person. Shes very patient and willing to help you, she never hassled me about signing up for the rewards program but always informed me when I could save money until I finally decided to 🥰

This is my go-to store for everything craft related... and all the other things Im not sure where to find. Had a baseball jersey framed here and was very satisfied with the result.

I enjoy the quality and selection of the craft supplies and display items I need, but I find the knowledge of inventory and uses of products inherent in the staff to be minimal. I do not expect the clerks to be artists or professionals, at near minimum wage, but they should know what you have and where it is. Example: I found three items that roughly fit my requirements, after searching the whole store myself and being told that no such item was on hand.

Google says you have what I want....yet its nowhere in your store??? It says I can pick it up today on the shelf...really? 😠
