Golfed 27. The holes across the road made it worth every penny. Loved going into the bar when we were done. Have bowled here for over 2 decades, keep up the good work.

Went in to bowl with my family. I asked for 2 lanes with 5 people . And the front desk guy told me I only could have 1 lane to save on electricity and he wasn’t giving us 2 lanes. Granted it was 2:20pm on a Sunday and the alley was empty. Their leagues didn’t start till 4. I told him we needed to bowl faster to get my daughter home for her nap. So we needed 2 lanes . He said he’d rather not give us 2 lanes he said we could just stay longer in 1 lane. Obviously I can’t stay longer . After he was rude about the situation, he could def care less about his paying customers, then other bowlers showed up and he helped 2 other groups instead of me. Then finally took my money. He’s lucky my son is in a league there or we would not be back. This dude is terrible with costumers. I kept my cool but he def didn’t deserve it. The atmosphere here is anything but family friendly. And the funny thing is there is a sign saying only 4 to a lane. Anyways would not recommend.

We had our sons birthday party here. It was clean and everyone was very nice. Pizza was hot. The equipment all worked right. And the price was very reasonable. Well be coming back.

We love this place! The bowling options are great (superheroes, angry birds, etc). Weve gone here a couple times now and really enjoy it. Very family friendly. Havent ate the food from here so cant tell ya what thats like. Havent went golfing here either. But the bowling is awesome! Cost $26 today for the 4 of us! Didnt know they had Tuesday deals!

Great place for the whole family! I love all the new things they are doing. The staff is always polite and willing to answer any questions. The kids love bowling there, we even tried the foot golf thing the other day and that was a big hit.

I had a 5 star on here 7 months ago. But am very disappointed at how unprofessional this company truly is. Been trying to reach someone in Banquet area for 3 days now. No return calls and too busy to talk to me. Guess they dont want my business very bad.

Royal Scott is pretty solid awesome environment-friendly people bartender are awesome I would definitely recommend this setting for a fun night whether its a date night or a family night they also have a top-five amazing Pizza

I have come here many times with family and friends and every time we’ve seemed to have problems with the lanes. the owner, Todd, is very rude, interrupts and yells at people. he once told me “if you have problems every time you come then it’s probably you and not my lanes.” very rude and inconsiderate. i would definitely not recommend. this place doesn’t even deserve one star. the place is not clean, arcade games eat your coins and don’t let you play. staff is super rude, and nobody seems to care would rate them negative stars if i could. this place should be out of business!

Me and my girlfriend frequently go here and are never disappointed. Last Friday we stopped after work for a couple drinks and it was busy, we noticed they had a fish special going on and decided to get it to go. Even though its was busy we got fast great service. Not to mention the food was GREAT good portions ..cooked perfect and tasted super fresh and very tasty. We recommend there to everyone

Staff is rude as hell. I spent $70 and none of the lanes worked and owner refused to give me my money back. He also yelled at my girlfriend. how can you have horrible customer service when you own a place where family comes to have fun? This place is not it. me and my family will NOT be coming back.

I dont mean to be a pain as I enjoy the course and have for years. The man at the Golf counter (inside) did not have a mask on. There were no dividers and I find it troubling considering the bowling/bar portion had problems following the rules during the pandemic. I want nothing bad to happen, I just hope the course takes this seriously as we all want to have a safe, enjoyable experience. In this case, I could not give my money to the business if they disregard safety.

Worst food I ever had from any bowling alley. I stopped going years ago because the food was terrible. I went back tonight with high hopes after reading their menu on line. Guess what...it was generic, nasty, and missing items. It was like ordering food from wish. It was technically a nacho but was it really??

Fun place to take the kids and family

Did a fantastic job following Covid related rules! Made barriers between lanes, wiped and sanitized everything after each use, had arcade closed which was a so helpful and great for me, who brought younger kids! I didnt have to fight w them to stay out of there, they made it easy for me, having it closed off! Kudos to them! I felt protected by all the measures they took to be able to be open for the public!

I was there last Friday for subbing for my friend who is in a bowling league. I was told by him that you have to wear a mask unless you are eating and drinking. There was a table next to us that had people not wearing masks at all and one lady near us as well not wearing them. There was no public announcement by the guy at the counter/ looked like not a person there didnt say anything to these people. Food service was quick despite how busy it was is the only reason for the 3 stars. I am Subbing for the guy again this coming Friday and hope people fallow the rules by wearing masks if you are just sitting there not eating or drinking/ when you are bowling

Enjoyable place to play a round of golf, always in good shape and a good test for your game.

I dont mean to be a Karen, but come on....possibly a great place if you dont come on a busy day. The lane we were placed in promised play time for as long as we needed since nothing was reserved. But in the middle of our second game an employee came and told us that he made a mistake and had to move us to another lane due to a birthday reservation he missed. He kindly gave our group free lane tickets that we could redeem at a later time.At the beginning of our first game we buzzed the servers to check in at our lane to take our drink and food orders probably about 6-10 times throught the first game and no one ever came. We even heard someone announce over their intercom that our lane needed a server. Towards the end of our first game we physically just walked over to the kitchen area and placed our order. Towards the end of our second game after we were told we would be changing lanes we still didnt have our food! Just as we were about to cancel our food order since we were already on our last game they let us know it was about ready and boxed it up for us.Later while we were in our new lane we noticed the birthday party had arrived at our previous lane and immediately were met with TWO servers and received their drinks and food before we finished our 3rd game. I cant even explain the disbelief.Moral of the story: Dont expect much if youre not the only one there and place your order directly to the kitchen and pick it up yourself.

Great place for a family get together.

Bowling is always fun but Royal Scott shouldnt be open it they can serve you food and drinks. Bar didnt open til noon. Then the person who came in to open it showed up late. So you lost out on about 70 bucks worth of food. Spare time is a better environment for open bowling. Serves wait on your lanes like tables at a restaurant. You could learn something royal. Maybe thats why its dead in there

Had so much fun! Really glad we are able to come and have a good time. I really appreciate it since our kids are only getting older and these are their best years!

Lanes are nice, speaker is crackly, food is edible. Ppl are super nice.

Most of the staff seemed unhappy. One of the maintenance men that fixes lanes kept complaining every time he had to come fix something in or by our lanes. I booked our party online and it did not inform me that cosmic bowling was down. I found out upon arrival that it has been down for almost a year. Kids had a fun time and the food was good.

Was great to be able to bowl again! They have always been a clean well maintained Bowling Alley, but they have done a good job setting up for Covid safety. Our family had a GREAT TIME!The one complaint I have, and this is very minor, was there was a woman that came around to clean up a gather up empty cans while we were still playing and she grabbed the cans from the top and shook them to see if they were empty. If they were not empty, they would have been contaminated by her hands. It would have been better for her to grab the side of the can. ...or better yet, ask us to put our empty cans in one area so she did not even have to touch cans we were still using. We understand that all this Covid stuff is still new, so there is a learning or re-learning curve.

Absolutely no social distancing measures! No mask enforcing, and their division of lanes is a dollar store shower curtain that doesnt cover ANYTHING. Laughable at best. Paid for 2 hours and stayed 15 minutes.

Had a great time. Not happy with the manager threatening to kick prime out of they werent ready to get out 15 minutes before closing. He reported this several times over the 2 hours we were there. Very unprofessional. They only had one waitress it seemed because it took her forever to even take our orders.

The front desk guy was a jerk and kept giving us attitude. There was only one waitress and waited on everyone but us. We had to walk to the bar to get food no one would come to us! The waitess was giving us attitude when we tried ordering. Do not recommend coming here to bowl

Everytime I go they live up to their tag line ( Perfect Place to Play )..I’m so exited to see what upgrades are coming next. The last one I saw was all new bowling monitor and scoring system that comes with an interactive app called Open Lane this app also tracks there new reward points program.I’ve read some of the other reviews, wow people should be ashamed. This place has gone above and beyond, Placing separation screens between pairs of lanes and seating for those pairs, they clean and disinfect all surfaces between every customer. They have hand sanitizer stations about every 25 steps on the concourse, and at every entrance. I go there quite often and feel very comfortable and safe with the measure that has been taken. Frankly, if people want to complain that they are scared they should stay at home. Basically, if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all.Rant over, back to upgrades...I heard that the next step is adding like 15 TVs to the Triple P Bar and Grill, and a live band on Friday and Saturday nights.They just keep raising the bar.... I can like it!!!!

Golf course is in good shape. Somewhat challenging.

Never enforced masks. Place was packed too. This place is in dire need of renovation.I heard they got in trouble for operating in defiance of public health orders. Obviously not a business that cares for the health and safety of the community.As far as health safety goes, they only put up some shower curtains and called it good. If thats how they handle a pandemic who knows what goes on in the kitchen!!

Masks not enforced whatsoever. Almost like COVID didn’t exist and people weren’t dying. I grew up bowling here in tourneys and during hs bowling. Spent quite a bit of time here but the complete lack of care on following rules disgusts me. It’s not that hard to follow rules. Not that they care, but I won’t be going back. City Limits is where it’s at. They know how to follow rules and respects them. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sad to see a place that is so resistant to complying with temporary shutdowns. Their adaptation to Covid-19 was throw some shower curtains up and call it a day. They never enforced masks and the only people who i saw wear them constantly are the waitresses.Their equipment breaks down, your ball may get a gouged, but thats not their problem. They fix floors with tape. Sad to see the place I grew up bowling at go down hill.

Knowledgeable staff. Alley is always clean. You can get food and drinks while bowling or even if you are not. If you need bowling equipment or advice Mr Ks pro shop is the absolute best!!

Staff was really nice different options for different people including an arcade and pool tables. Only had pizza which was alright. Beer was a little expensive would recommend the pitcher over a cup because of price.

Clean, spacious and newly renovated. The bar offers food and drinks delivered to your Lane ! Rental shoes looked new and many balls to chose from. The pizza and popcorn were delicious and went well with the adult beverages! The scoring equipment looked up to date too. We had a blast and so will you 😊

I enjoy coming here as it is the least expensive option in mid-Michigan. The fries are good also! Cleanliness could be improved. Additionally, the lanes tend to have trouble resetting sometimes. Waiting 9 minutes for a reset wasnt ideal, but they did add the time back to our lane without us needing to ask. Would have been nice to get an additional amount of time due to the inconvenience though. Good family fun and Id recommend bowling here.

Bowling oasis, the lanes pile high at this very popular sporting palace. This is the real bowlers bowling alley, you will frequently see members bowling strikes left and right. There are many choices out there and they treat you like royalty. If you are interested they also rent out shoes and lanes for the begining bowler to explore. Folks I was pleased to learn there is no charge for using the ball, and they have many colours and weights for one to choose. I picked a lime colored number that gave me various success and was pleased with how smooth they keep them. There is free air as well, and you can rent the place out for events and parties for all you holy rollers out there they also do church service and weddings. They have various pop and booze for the booze crowd. No smoking allowed, so dont think you can get away with it. Bowl on!

Grew up going here, hope my kids get to experience the good times I did playing video games, the magic of cosmic bowling when the lights go out and karaoke starts to pour out of the conference room!

Super fun retro bowling experience. Good kind service, plenty of space, good vibes from a mixed crowd. Wide beer selection, clean facility. Go later after the leagues finish for music and cosmic bowling. Its a little too... buttoned up for my taste with the serious bowlers there. 😇

The best bowling ally in Lansing. The family package is wonderful and the workers there are friendly. The arcade (a small pinball Petes) has a good variety of games. This is the spot for DanceDance Revolution. The food is good. The bar area is accommodating with pool tables and darts.

Lots of lanes, and they still have a wonderful atmosphere even after all these years.Friendly staff, and not a single out Lane of the 50+ lanes available.Only downsides are the counter for checking in and out was backed way up. But there seemed to be an event going on, so cant fault them there.We ordered a dual pizza, and were rather disappointed with the overall quality of the food. However the pizza sticks were delicious. Hit or miss bar food, nothing fancy.Will return again. Have been a fan of this place for over 20 years!

Great prices & service! We were able to bowl on 2 lanes with a group of 10, as many games as we can bowl in 2 hours, shoes, food and soda all included! Cannot beat the price & we had a lot of fun bowling with our family! Will definitely be back again when we are visiting in the area!

Good for a day with the kids. Was going to buy a couple games and the attendant offered me a cheaper option which included unlimited play for an hour and a huge platter of nachos. Great place to spend some time!

Royal Scot is a great place for bowling and golf. Our family loves coming here. The food is pretty good for a bowling alley. Nothing overly special but I know when they cater food it is great. The biggest downside is the bar. It is always backed up and hard to get a drink. Easy to get lost in the shuffle while waiting for a beer. Other than that great place.

Great bowling alley with good food.

Went here for an event, the decor was nice and the event room looked very elegant. The only complaint is that the food was catered and they couldn’t keep it stocked a few people would eat then we would have to wait 15-20 minutes for more chicken to be cooked and more food brung out. That certainly did not go over well for us, during the event people were standing at the serving table waiting for food, not a good look for hungry guests.

Our staff decided to go bowling for our Christmas party this year. We had a great turnout and everything we experienced at Royal Scot was awesome! Every part of our experience there was super fun and we all truly enjoyed it. Each member of the staff that we interacted with were fantastic! Thanks again! Keep up the super service!

Had a great time there! The pizza was really good! My only complaint is that it was too hot in the bowling alley. Itd be one thing if it was 90° out, but it was in the 40s outside. I dont wanna sweat while Im bowling.

I dont understand Cathys review as most of the courses I play at only have bathrooms in the proshop and not on the course so having porter pottys is good.... This place is a decent course for the price and they have pretty good food from the kitchen. It stormed all day today so a lot of the staff went home early but that is understandable

The bowling is well priced here and drinks actually arent proceed to bad as well. It seems food has went up though which would be fine if it was better but the food isnt the best to be proceed where it is. My main concern is the waiting staff for the lanes are sub par. Very nice but youre usually lucky to see them more then once a game. This last time I went the arcade barely had any working games and half of them werent marked. Major rip off

Our waitress was fantastic, we had great service, but one of our 2 lanes (#45) was terrible. It kept miscounting pins so we had to manually change the scores all night and periodically push the reset button. And to make it worse, the pin loading/clearing machine kept locking up, we had to call the front desk 9 different times over the course of 2 games to fix it. The other lane (#46) worked perfectly.

Good course great shape had a lot of fun today

They must leave the heat on to get that sweaty bowling experience.
