When I purchased my current home, I needed a propane provider for the first time. My first call was to Lansing Ice & Fuel. I was given a price for propane that was simple to understand. My next few calls were to other propane providers, who had surcharges, transportation charges, etc. making it impossible to compare prices or predict what it would cost to heat my new home. Obviously, I signed a propane contract with Lansing Ice & Fuel. Each year, they tell me how much propane I used the previous year, making their pre-pay option an easy and economical choice. They set up auto fill so I dont have to worry about needing to keep the tank full. It has been ten years, and I have had no complaints.

Always friendly, always supportive and great communication. Their drivers are the absolute best. I have a propane company in Ohio (for my other farm) that I absolutely hate. Lansing Ice and Fuel are top notch!

Good quality company with great customer service and quality. Love their prebuy and prepay options. Good to know that you are covered for fuel for the year and that there wont be any price changes. They get there to refill in a reasonable amount of time and they do a good job of watching over things.Would definitely recommend them for future business.

Very helpful whenever weve had questions, plus their delivery driver looks out for Customers, if he has a question regarding our LP tank their service department calls to ask or Driver leaves us a note to follow up with their Service Department. Our fuel oil tank was running quite low on oil. Lansing Ice and Fuel was our supplier. We called after hours on Friday. They gave us a telephone number to call. The person we reached said the it IT WOULD COST AN EXTRA $50.00 TO DELIVER THE OIL.. He than suggested that we could use #1 Diesel Fuel, that Truckers use. I decided that I would wait until Monday morning to have Lansing Ice and Fuel deliver the needed fuel. They promptly made the delivery. I do not know if Lansing Ice and Fuel knew about the extra fee. I did not ask the company about the fee or if the person I called worked for the company.

They have pretty good prices, but poor record keeping. Every time I ordered they were amazed at how much propane we were using this year. I told them 3 times the house no longer had an external heating source so the old consumption rate was no longer applicable. This was not recorded and 6 days after calling for a fill during the cold snap in February we ran out of propane. They did come out and fill the tank within a few hours of calling them, which was appreciated. However, they went on to charge a fee for running out of propane and tried to sell me a larger tank. I am trying out a different business for my heating needs.

My senior citizen parents have been customers for over 10 years with no issues... until two weeks ago. They have called to request a refuel as they are in their 20% danger zone and were told someone would be out. No one came. They called the next week to request again that they were concerned with running out, and no one came still. Im encouraging them to find a new supplier.

Had our tank get down to between 5% and zero. I told the receptionist I didnt want to pay $75 for emergency delivery (we have another form of heat) because it was a hardship on top of the cost of propane. She was very condescending to me saying it was poor planning on my part that I let it get that low. Yeah, thats exactly what I need to hear after busting my a** at work, among other things. Thanks. Other than her, have had no other problems.

I have been working with the guys at the Mason location for several years now doing Generator installations. Tim, Ray, Chuck and Adam are top notch guys. It is uncommon to find an LP provider that is as flexible and works as hard to meet the customers needs. GOOD JOB !

Great service and always friendly. We have ordered our fuel from Lansing Ice & Fuel for over five years and can always count on them. Last year when we had all that wonderful snow & ice we were almost out of fuel oil. We place our order and they said it might be a few days, understandably enough, so we were prepared to wait our turn. I waited too long to call for a LP delivery. I was at less than 10% in my tank. I was told on the phone that they might not be able to deliver until after Thanksgiving (6 days). They delivered the next morning!! They have always had great customer service. 5 stars for sure.Angie

The first time I called, the receptionist was very friendly, and explained everything in a polite manner. Being very informative while also being considerate is a big seller to me! This is what made me choose Lansing Ice and Fuel over Williamston Oil (sidenote their receptionist is rude and unhelpful.)LI&Fs receptionist told me it might be a few days before they could come out to fill up our fuel oil. He was out the next afternoon.Last night, came home to an empty tank and a cold house after being out of town. I called this morning, she told me it may be a day or two depending on his schedule. I told her we were out- out, and he was there within 3 hours!The driver is always very personable, and nice as well. As long as I live in this area, and have fuel needs, theyll be the company I use! 5 stars, couldnt ask for better!!!
