They arent the largest store, but they have the best & most helpful employees. Josh always has an educated answer to any of my questions, and even better you can tell its through experience and not just some article he read somewhere. Eric is also very helpful and friendly. I have been going there since June 19 and try to go there first when the need arises..Would recommend stopping there before any large store, 9 times out of 10 they have what you are looking for.

They got rid of my favorite cashier Allie. Disappointed. She was so helpful and cheerful. Wont be visiting again.

This was my first time in a grow store, my first time growing indoors, and I was a little intimidated. I ended up talking to the staff members for about 30 min about various things, they were very knowledgeable. These guys know what they’re talking about, and are very easy to talk to. I’ll be coming back for sure!

Anthony was extremely knowledgeable and helpful getting my house plant babies growing healthy and strong. His expertise, individualized customer service, and patients helping me bring life to my 100+ indoor house plants was well worth the stop! He even helped find a grow light that was perfect for my needs and didn’t break my budget. The customer service alone will make me continue to use Horizon Hydroponics for my soil and fertilizer needs rather than a nursery. Thank you!!

All the employees I have spoken with possess in depth knowledge about the important processes of this practice. So too are they honest and straightforward about what they think you need. They do not try to oversell you on things and are extremely helpful and friendly. Wouldnt go anywhere else for your growing needs.

Great place to get your garden off and running. Run into problems doing a grow i bet the staff can figure out your problem because of vast knowledge of products

I used the camo bag of soil to repot my house plants and just 3 days after they are taking off and growing well. I highly recommend them and I will NEVER use miracle grow or any other cheap soil again.

Great selection knowledge staff. There was an issue with one item that did not come in and they made it right. Their customer service is top notch. And the fact that they offer curbside pickup is a huge bonus. I am glad I found them.

You will be paying for a Marijuana Tax while shopping here. This also goes for the majority of grow stores in the Lansing area. They seem to all be price gouging on soil-less soils or soils in general. I found a location between Ann Arbor, MI and Brighton, MI that prices are 33% to 50% cheaper than anywhere in Lansing. I have no idea what (stars) I should give this business. It seems like Lansing has a price oligopoly going on.

Ive been in a few times now. Every time they have been very friendly and helpful. This is the only place I go to for supplies now. Even with the curbside assistance they do, they do it right and I have no problem telling them what I need and handing them my card. Highly recommend.

First off let me start with everyone one that works at Horizen Hydroponics is amazing and well informed, but my experience with Erich and Josh was above and beyond amazing .They will help you out with anything you need and will not try to sell you tons of stuff that you really don’t need . They will guide you through any problems that you might be having and get you back on the right track. If you want friendly customer service provided by knowledgeable staff then Horizen Hydroponics is the place for you. Extremely helpful when I went in today with my step dad. They answered all my questions with detail. They dont pressure you into buying anything you wouldnt need which is awesomeness. Not to mention, the prices are great. Go check them out!!!!!

First time there today...cheaper than everything on amazon. About 1/2 price on soil compared to what Ive been paying. Crew answered all my questions and were very respectful.

This is a good grow store. They have workshops almost every month too which is nice.

Hands down the best group of guys I have ever had help me with my garden. I was referred by a friend after battling several problems I could not figure out. These guys got me back on track after pinpointing my problem being root aphids, and now my garden is back to 100% health and thriving. Their prices are better than anyone else’s locally, and they always have what I need. I give them a 5/5.

I would not recommend this place to anyone, horrible customer service and they do not seem to listen to what the customers want, rather they just go with what they think is best and most profitable especially during this quarantine lock down. do not, i repeat, do not go here.

Hands down best service in the area. The employees provide expertise that one will be hard pressed to find at other local shops. Rather than selling me on expensive products I dont need, the knowledgeable staff catered to my exact needs and helped me improve my ability as a gardener. They were very eager to help me improve and answer any questions I had.

In person they act professional, but over the phone I get apathetic stoner. If you are not doing high volume business they have minimal time for you, even if they take your information and say they will call. The two products I bought are really junk quality which is saying something given how cheap air stones are in general. Im considering ordering my dry ice direct for the same price since my business isnt worth their time.

All the people at Horizen are great ne ver had any issues with anything if there is a problem with a item they have taken care of it in the fastest way possible. I bought a trimmer and it was there the next day the manufacturer couldnt get it to me in under 2 weeks. I dont shop other stores in the Lansing area.
