Cluttered store, can hardly find employees that are on the floor to better help you. When you do, they (employees) are nice and helpful. But its iffy if they can find what your looking for in the clutter. Great prices and they always have coupons. Just wish theyd organize the store better.

I would like to acknowledge Shannon in frames at the Lapeer store. A friend of mine and I brought in an authentic Egyptian painting given as a gift. It is on the original parchment and very delicate. Shannon helped pick out the frame,the mat and the glass to finish it. there are no words to express the thanks for helping preserve this priceless piece of art. She went above and beyond to make sure this turned out perfect. Thank You Shannon we need more employees like you.

Every time I come to Michaels, I leave with more than what was on my list. 😅 But this specific location is always a pleasure to visit. Staff are friendly and helpful, the store is always clean and tidy, and I rarely have trouble finding what Im looking for (and then some).

The UPS clerk was very efficient in helping me contact someone who could help me correct an address on a delivery.

The sales people are very helpful and friendly. Great place to get my craft items as well as gifts for family an friends as they have great selections. Happy to see theyre now carrying material.

Wonderful store. Wonderful people. My husband and I were there Saturday January 16th at about 6pm. We had reached for a canvas on a high shelf and some of the ones behind had fallen down, freak accident. An employee shouted it was in the back and RAN to us. And her first concern was if we were okay. And we were no harm done. But her concern touched us. Unfortunately I didnt catch her name. But she had short hair and was quite tall and slender. When we went to the register Mackenzie I believe her name was, was so sweet too. Very helpful and reminded me of all my coupons and rewards. All the employees are always great.

I went in there looking for stretchy wedding wrist bands but they didnt have any but I did find some battery operated tea light candles.

This store is always clean and well stocked, and associates are always pleasant. They recently added fabric. I think it may be a mistake with another popular fabric store in such close proximity.

Store was clean and easy to navigate. Staff was all wearing masks properly. No aisle signage or directed shopping.

When shopping in the store you can never find any of the workers available to ask any questions to. I did a return and when the manager came over to the register she was not pleasant at all. I’m not sure if she was just stressed out on that day. They were not busy and there was two people in line behind me. It was not a pleasant experience at all. If the product I’m looking for is available at Joann in Lapeer I will be going there instead of this location at Michaels.

Horrible experience with this store..went in to purchase a silhouette cameo 4 the sign in them said $199 but it rang $269..jane the girl at the register who helped me was very nice she called for the manager and the manager Beth T. Came to the register w a box threw it on the counter and said this is the one on sale not that one..I explained the sign was on them and it said cameo 4 $199 she said well thats not on sale for that price then walked off...NEVER would I recommend this store!! With that kind of customer service I will never shop there again!!Extremely poor customer service..and that was by management!!

Had 4 items I was in search of. For a craft store they didnt carry any of it. Store associates are not helpful. Your fellow customers care more about helping you attempt to find what youre looking for and where its located than the actualcustomer service workers as someone that has worked in customer service for over 10 years it was pathetic in my opinion. For the store experience I had to then see the prices I literally left my cart and walked out the door. The quality of products is the same at dollar general, family dollar or walmart. Yet priced high as if you would be shopping at the nikes or adidas of craft supplies. Dont waste your time or money here not worth it.

Normally I dont complain but here we are. I went in yesterday looking for an item I normally dont get so I didnt know where it was. I looked for my self two times before deciding to ask for help. One lady was on the floor talking to a customer so I go up front to ask the cashier. When I asked her she was short and asked my question over her headset. After awhile she says its over in jewelry. Ok that narrows it done so i search ALL of jewelry and cant find it. I go back up to the front to pay for my stuff i already picked up. She asked if I found it. I said no I looked real hard. She says oh. Didnt offer to call someone up or even offer to help me (I was the only one in line). This experience really made me feel unwanted in the store.

Great store, lots of good products. Love that they offer the ability to purchase online and pickup in store. Staff is friendly. They offer great coupons that make most of us able to shop here. My only complaint is the store layout and prices are extremely high compared to other stores regular retail prices. A majority of the time its cheaper to purchase directly from the brand, or off Amazon. My other complaint is the store layout. It seems that the items arent always where you think they would be. It would be helpful if all the planner items, paint brushes, pens etc. were in an aisle together. Most of the time it seems they are scattered throughout the store, and its easy to miss or not be able to find what youre looking for because of this. Sometimes a quick Micheals run can turn into an hour expedition just to find the product you came in for because of the odd placement of products. Overall its a great store with lots to offer, just high prices but 99.9% of the time they have a coupon to help with the overpriced items.

I am so far from being artsy my self but my daughter loves to draw. Was Christmas shopping and had no clue what I was looking for. I asked staff for help and a women named Jenn was so knowledgeable and helped steer me in the right direction. She even came back with a whole set that was on sale!! So happy with my purchases! Thank you again Jenn!!!

Normally very happy here. However today how hard would it have been to open another register to keep your line moving after dealing with an uncooperative customer at the only open lane for 10+ minutes? Felt ridiculous and frustrating.

Michaels had the type of low cost frames I was searching for. Wish they had more. But, I was able to go to 2 of their other stores and complete my shopping.

I love Michaels for the kind of store that it is. Their stores are beautiful. But, if I had a quarter for every time I tried to use one of their coupons at our location and they told me that I could not use it on the item I was buying, I would be a rich lady. Its in the fine print, they tell me. I understand exemptions, not combining offers, not using a coupon on sale merchandise, etc. But EVERY TIME. Today I bought some adhesive. Regular price, not on sale. And I was told that it was a basic value item so I could not use my 40% off one regular priced item coupon. Shouldnt all of your regular prices be a basic value? And if basic value is not a sale price, or a special, or a door Busters, but indeed your regular priced basic value, should I not be able to use my coupon? Also not valid on books...found that out last week. Did the $4.00 adhesive that I was buying sell so well that you had to come up with a special name for it to exempt it from your coupons? Regular price is regular price. Sale price is sale price. Quit playing games. Either you have coupons or you dont. I feel like I need a contract lawyer to go through the checkout with me!

They had the yarn I was looking for when another store didnt and I just needed a couple skeins to finish a weekend project, didnt want to order online duty to the wait. Needed it done during weekend. Clean, friendly staff and well stocked. Check out time was good, not too long. Very happy with purchase.

Always clean. Friendly staff. Its a little overwhelming when you are looking for something in particular and there are not always staff available on the floor. I dont like having to ask the cashier for help as she is busy with customers. I was surprised to see Halloween and Thanksgiving decor out in July, however it was a very nice display.

Needed to have a picture professionally framed. Associate was extremely helpful and pleasant. I am now editing. I picked up my frame yesterday and it is beautiful. Would highly recommend them for framing needs.

Definitely a perfect place to go for arts and crafts. Its affordable unless you get the brand name favorites. Still cheaper than the main all arts and crafts stores. I get all my paint canvass here when they go on sale.

Ive been framing my artwork for over 20 years and the custom framing department here is way over priced... HOWEVER - I would like to give a shout out to two employees, Beth and Shannon. They gave me excellent customer service when getting my large canvas on black Friday. Extremely helpful, kind and professional. They even volunteered (without me asking) to help get my large items up front to hold for me until I checked out AND volunteered to get them to my car. They double checked pricing for me with a smile, and kept asking me if they could help in any way. They made my shopping experience wonderful.

This store is clean and well organized, but over priced for most things. Unless there is something I need right away I try to shop around for things I can find here because the prices are so high. Even when you have a coupon it only brings the price down to normal.

Friendly sales people, clean store. I was disappointed with the small selection of Pastel pencils, sticks, paper. Not wanting to run into closest larger town I ended up ordering from online art supply store. Instead of featuring enormous space for framing, etc, it would be nice for Michaels, CRAFT/ART STORE to specialize in more art products.

But I can tell you the Employees and Management were informative kind courteous insightful and inspiring so much so that I found myself wandering the aisles contemplating ideas and relishing the peace that they provided . If youre having a bad experience at ANY Michaels this one Is sure to be worth the drive. In my experience across the decades I can tell you if I were the boss or the owner I would be giving RAISES TO ALL Who worked that day!

Didnt have what I went in for. Clerk said they were a small store so they dont carry what the other stores do. But they had the brand I was looking for at Christmas. However, the store is clean and the staff friendly. Thats more than half the battle from the get go. If they had what I wanted Id give them 5 stars. They do have the room its about the size of the one by me.

I needed an orange tshirt for a last minute craft prior to a Halloween party. Michaels had exactly what I wanted and the price was lower than I expected. The wait in the checkout lane was very short. The cashier was friendly and very efficient.

Was surprised at what I seen.got drafting pencils,, LG.clip board,plus misc. Was like a kid in candy store.stop in,enjoy the isles of surprises I was.😬

My wife and daughter love this place. They try to go there every chance they can. If you are into crafts or have a hobby then this is the place to go. They literally have do many products and wide range of selections its hard to pick what you really want.
