I was talking to my boyfriend about the circuts and how on the circut site theres a deal going on thats cheaper and an employee (didnt get her name) overheard and informed me of price matching and was very helpful. The deal I was talking about couldnt be price matched since it was a bundle they didnt have, but I really appreciated her effort and how willing she was to even give us more insight about what we can use for what. Ive never been here before, but it definitely beats Michaels in prices AND awesome staff!

I have gone here for years. Their selection might not be as vast as the one in auburn hills, but the choices of materials and the staff make up for it! Today, i was a little tight on money but wanted to get some sample pieces of a few fabrics. The woman that was cutting for me told me about how fabric samples of four inches are FREE! Like... oh my goodness, that saved me so much money right there and made me go back and look for even MORE fabric. She was even nice enough to write down the skew numbers too! I wish i got her name, but she was so sweet!I tried to get good pictures of the skews, just in case anyone likes the fabrics i got!

Never have any issues. I can always find a deal.

They need to be better at marking where you are supposed to go or stand or wait. I stood in 3 different places, clerks saw me standing there, and I was never called up to get my fabric cut not too was I ever told where I was supposed to wait. I ended up leaving the store without being helped or even acknowledged. I was also disappointed in their selection.

Working as a third shift RN and found that this Joann (Lapeer, MI) was one of the few open and drive 45 minutes to the store and called and the voice said that they were open. Upon arrival the store posted they are not allowing customers in store only curb side. We were told to call them 15 minutes after placing order and if the order was not in their system they would take my order and pull it. Well its been an hour and I keep getting told 15 more minutes, 15 more minutes, 15 more minutes. The items are for other nurses. This was not just a leisure trip..... Very disappointing.

Great selection of fabric. BEAUTIFUL thread colors & types. Variety of kits, craft & novelty items. I have happened upon some good sales, coupons are usually available. Staff is knowledgeable & helpful. Recommend.

The workers are always pleasant and helpful. The store is well lit and smells like cinnamon from the scented pinecones they sell around Christmas time. I love their coupons, they help a lot. You get them via an app, your email, through text, AND they can be mailed to you! Lots of opportunities to save. :-)

Ill admit its been a while since Ive been to a fabric store, and that I had no idea where to find what I needed here. They seemed very lightly staffed with only one person up front and I was a bit nervous after doing my best to shop by myself like a big boy, but I had to wait and flag her down.The cashier/cut desk/front of house lady was very friendly and called for someone to come to my rescue from the back. A younger gentleman came through the double doors already smiling and looking like business, and he seemed to know everything about everything in the store, and even when I threw a curve ball at him he handled it like hed just been thinking about it. He was so friendly it felt like shopping with a drinking buddy.I bought several kinds of muslin (on sale!) and in specific lengths and widths so I could cut each piece three times to get four cravates (big triangular bandages for ski patrol), in two colors so theyre easier to tell apart, plus waxed thread and needles to hand-stitch a belt Ive been wearing since 1994 that needs a little mending. He even taught me how to start the stitch and thread the needle, which was different from what Id do for buttons and whatnot. I learned something new!The cashier up front was honestly happy to see that Id found everything I needed, and when I told her how much I appreciated the help she made sure to mark something down so the gentleman would get some sort of recognition. Thats a team looking out for each other.I dont know what my next sewing project will be, but I DO know where I am going to shop. Thanks guys!

I do believe the person that helped me was Lydia. They were super polite and even chatted me up about what I was making. I felt bad about going in 30 minutes before close but I got my fabric cut really quickly and was out within about 10 minutes. 10/10 would recommend.

I think Im so handy... And these people encourage it. Im not but it is so empowering to go into JOANN and see what the possibility is.How they are so knowledgeable about everything, I have no idea but they know!Ask anything, they know the answer or how to find it.

Friendly staff. I watched the woman at the checkout make sure each customer took advantage of the coupons they offer online and on the app. If they didnt have it loaded or werent a member, she walked them through the process. Extremely helpful.

One of my favorite stores, I love to sew and I always find what I need . Their employees are always so friendly and helpful.

Love coming to this place when I am visiting. My town only has a Hobby Lobby sadly. JoAnns staff are super friendly, always happy to help and the prices are so much better.

Went here looking for Deco mesh, ask an employee, oh its by the seasonal stuff and points. I look around in that area. Still cant find it after I walk up and down every isle. Ask again, samething! Apparently they didnt want a sale! Customer service sucks!

This store happens to be really small...I wish they would expand. However, their coupons are the best and their employees are super nice.

Store was kind of unorganized and the cashier was a bit distracted talking to a friend and catching up. Normally wouldnt mind but it took roughly 6 or 7 minutes before we were acknowledged at register.

Great place to get craftie items for small little projects with your kids great for the creative youngsters I would suggest this place to anyone who may have a small project to do with their kid/kids its a great place quality service. It has almost everything if not everything you need for little arts and crafts . Great service I had to ask around one of the staff was right there to help me out !

This is a small store. The staff are absolutely wonderful but the selection, especially with the fabrics, leaves a lot to be desired. Travel further to other locations if you want a better range and variety of products.

Very helpful staff here. If you need help with a project, they are very knowledgeable. From cake decorating supplies to fabric to buttons and everything in between, you will find great deals throughout this store.

This is one of my least favorite stores to go to. They are always short staffed and the wait is very long. There is one lady who is extremely knowledgeable (older, pixie haircut, glasses), but the rest of the staff needs more training. The selection is very small, too, so I rarely look for fabric at this store.

I shop Court St in Burton, and Miller Rd store in Flint weekly, and Im always frustrated at the empty shelves & long checkout lines. Although this is a smaller store its very well stocked, lines are short, and cashiers are helpful..Much different experience from the other stores. I will go out of my way to stop in here in the future!

Lapeer Staff was very helpful. Unlike at Burton. Lapeer was smaller but had everything I needed and worker were willing to answer all questions I had.

I love JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts!! One thing I have noticed that really makes me sad is how small the paper crafting Dept is becoming. Everytime I go in, they have changed something or clearances full sections!! I am heartbroken.
