Good store to grab a few essentials and some food. Seasonal items are usually pretty good for the prices.

Store always feels dirty. I highly recommend you avoid buying their furniture. Never lasts longer than a year or 2. Staff is very friendly though!

The salesman in the mattress area was so friendly and helpful. The store has quite a variety of mattresses. I would definitely recommend to check them out if youre looking for a mattress.

My Brother In Law & me went to Big Lots on Miller Rd to look for my Niece some Recliners. So, in the future we can buy one for her. Big Lots has Great Selections for a Variety of Recliners. And different Brands too. Compared to other Furniture Stores. Big Lots Prices are Lower. And the Quailry of their Furniture is not bad at all. Big Lots has a nice Selection in General for Living Room & Bedroom Furniture for the Size of their Stores . They do very good I think. I like Big Lots Selection of Fireplace Heaters & little heaters in General.

Theyre in the process of remodeling. Looks like they are trying to step their game up with the new products coming in. Disappointed in the lack of Halloween decorations though

I LOVE Big Lots! I didnt have my membership card with me, the clerk looked it up. And she corrected my phone number while she was at it. She was very sweet.I love the home goods and decor available, always the cutest seasonal things and just what I need or want.

They were all very accommodating when I needed to exchange an item from the Burton store! Friendly service gets noticed!

I always use the coupons that are emailed to me its a nice perk. And the cashiers are always friendly and helpful.

The 20% off everything sale was immense. Very very busy and still had customers waiting the minimum time to checkout. They had 3 registers open as well. Usually I only see 2 so that was a pleasant surprise.

Store could use some updates but the building is rented and the management company is notorious in our area for not wanting to put money in their property so I dont believe this is necessarily something big lots can control. Besides that, the product selection changes quite often here. Sometimes you can find really good deals and other times, things can be found cheaper at Walmart or dollar tree

Good deals. Good selection of snacks, and other food. Helpful employees. I was greeted by several employees in the 20 minutes I was there and was asked if they can help me with anything. Like most Big Lots, the store is in an older location but fairly convenient not too far from I-69 and other locations.

Can save money on small things and on some major ones. Everyone knows it thats why its busy.

Im here to review Big Lots new Buy Online, Pick Up in Store service. It used to be that you could only do this with things like furniture, but you can now order anything, including groceries and personal care items online, and it will be all bagged up and ready for you. You can apply a Big Rewards coupon to your online order, and there is no minimum to buy like other stores. Ive used this service twice since it started being offered over a week ago, when Ive been pressed for time and knew exactly what I needed. Both times were awesome! There is one slight issue with this though, but its an issue thats to be expected for any type of new service. Dont expect to be in and out within 60 seconds while this service still has that new car smell. The employees are still learning how to navigate the system on the registers with the help of their shift leaders, so PLEASE be patient with them as they get used to how to do it. Once they do, it will be a GREAT service for things like summer and holiday parties! (BTW, the bags they use for this service are twice to three times as thick as the regular Big Lots bags, and theyre reusable!)

There is a girl named Caitlyn that works here. Inside and out she is a beautiful person. Best customer service in Lapeer. It is as clean as an old Lapeer building can be and Caitlyn was very kind to my mom. My mom sang her praise the whole way home. This girl deserves a raise, a bonus, promotion SOMETHING! She is great. The store always is well stocked but has a register open at the same time unlike D.G. Big Lots is my go to place for these reasons
