Let me start by saying, I was very excited and hopeful upon finding this business. Everyone there on the phone, and the son who came and picked up my Zero turn were kind, polite, and friendly. The good news stops there.I had a belt come off that I needed help with, it was the beginning of season, so I had the oil changed, belts changed, inspected, and much needed blade replacement. They kindly told me they would be out early the next morning to pick up machine. GREAT!!, however, no show, no call till late afternoon. Had to call and ask. O.K., they got a late shipment, that day, and had to put me off, but still, IF you tell me you will be here in the morning, BE HERE or CALL. My time is precious. So, they finally came, I took a breath, and let it go. They fixed the problems, and had it back to me within 48 hours. Not bad. They told me they would bring out machine first thing in morning, GREAT! my lawn was looking really shabby. So, I was very happy with the price, and timely manner in which repairs were done. Happy to have found a close repair business, and also local non-box store to purchase my next new one. Again, no show, no call that morning, deliveries in ROMEO took my promised morning delivery, and I had to call, early afternoon to find out that going to Romeo first (I am 3.5 miles from shop) and not keeping your word was more important than bringing what was promised at the time promised. Dont make the statement, if you will not keep your word. Simple. The machine was delivered in the late afternoon, a spring controlling the hydraulics was not replaced properly, it was caught by the delivery man, and he fixed it. Now, good to go. Grass was horrible by this time, and I was desperate to get it in shape. The cut was HORRIBLE! I thought it might be because grass was so high, but there were uncut strips in between the blades. Even two cuts were not good enough. I looked under the deck, wrong sized blades, way too small, and appeared to be upside down to boot. I called again. They came back out, but again, not when they said, and my mower sat out there all day waiting for them. Finally they came and got it, and then had it for a week and a half, with NO calls, NO updates, NO estimate of what day they would return my machine. HORRIBLE customer service. Did not keep their word ONCE, and completely wasted MUCH of my valuable time. I would have gladly paid double to a company to do the same, and simply KEEP THEIR WORD. Mistakes happen, I am far less irritated by the mistakes, as I am the seemingly utter disregard for my time and their promises.I am glad to see some people here were served, and well. I had initial hopes that I would be one of them. Sadly, I am irritated enough to write this bad review. If you do business with them, get a day, time, and hold them to it, and BE THAT SQUEEKY WHEEL! I wasnt, and they had no idea who I was when I called back and described my machine and circumstance.They lost a better customer than they know. Good Luck, and stay on them if you choose to use them. Oh, and by the way, not one single apology for the whole fiasco or any attempt to rectify the bad experience. I have 3 reviews here. This is the only complaint I have posted. I dont normally like to complain, would much rather brag on good service. Hopefully, this bad review will serve to motivate SS Equipment repair to up their game. They can if they care enough to.

I brought these guys a brand new push mower for a carburetor clean, an easy 30 minute job tops & they told me that they cant clean it they have to order a new one, they have now had 3 weeks & still have no part... these guys are a joke & just trying to get all the money they can out of you

Called them late one day, curious why so many excellent reviews. I needed lawn mower repair, they came out the next morning picked up my mower and had it fixed and back to me within 3 and a half hours. Even replaced a gasket eliminating muffler noise. Original issue was mower not starting, turned out to be a loose motor to frame which caused a no ground condition. Price was more than fair and thrilled for such great service, the lawn was getting long. Much quicker and less expensive than other repair services and great customer support.

I have to say this is the first time I seen a repair shop drive my tractor on the trailer to get repaired and then needed to be pushed off the trailer when it was returned to me. It wont start. Very disappointed. The tractor was working the deck only needed repair...

Scott was extremely helpful and listened to what I had to say. Very professional and clean building. Plus theres a shop pup. I havent received my mower yet because I dropped it off an hour ago but the service was amazing compared to J&S who yelled at every customer in front of me while I was waiting in line.

Fair pricing on riding mowers compared to big box stores. Pay a little extra for great service after the sale. Well worth it.

Very pleased with them. Blew the clutch on my 15 year old bobcat zero turn mower. Scott said just to buy the clutch was over $300. He noticed the oil filter said 2014. He said he would take care of it and look over the machine. After installing a new clutch, new drive belt, oil change and lube job, blowen fuse, new blades and fuel filter he called and said the engine was running ruff and would not idle. He recommended he should clean the carborater and make it look and function like new. He called again and said the mower was running like new and he was able to get the clutch for only $250. Total bill $560.88 for the amount of work he put into the mower he did it at a very reasonable price. GOOD JOB.

Super friendly service and was very willing to help get in the parts we needed to fix our lawnmower. Prices werent bad either for being a small store.
