Aldo was the worst. He let me know that even though I had an appointment, my truck wouldnt get looked at until end of day, but then he would let me know what was wrong. I heard nothing back. The next day either. I called on the third day and was transferred to him, where I was on hold for 15 min. Then transferred back tot he receptionist and then finally back to him. After waiting for another 5 min, he answered and said my truck was finally in the shop and hed let me know. Then after waiting the entire day with no call back, when I called again, he told me what was wrong. I told him I needed to take pictures so Geico could authorize the work and he said I could pick up my truck to take the photos and yall would get the work. When I showed up to pick up truck, he left me there for 30 more min and then told me that if I didnt pay the diagnostic fee, i couldnt pick up the truck without authorizing yall to do the work. But without geico authorizing it, I could either. It was my birthday and I was due at lunch. He was non receptive and rude. I will never get work done there. I wouldve given yall the work if he had been polite and not wasted my time. Total fail. But yall got $140 from geico for the diagnostic fee. When the adjuster got there, they tried to tell him that I had already taken the truck because theyd lost my key. Terrible service.
I wish I had looked at all the reviews on Powell Watson gmc. I had the worst experience buying and new truck. Service manager should even be a manger. Second they took forever on paperwork when I had filled it out online and then raised the price 1000 dollars more. The sales man Joe G. Was trying to keep me happy thanks Joe. but this place should be more organized. 1 star in order to post
I gave GM of Laredo the benefit of the doubt after reading bad reviews. They have really started to make a habit of horrible service. I read on 1 post they had waited 4 hours and 30 minutes I found it hard to believe. Iam just now leaving and I have been waiting 6 hours from start to finish. I recommend people go elsewhere. Ive wasted my whole day here.
Really bad customer service. Took my vehicle for a service and they didn’t even bother to call for an update. Had to be constantly calling to the service department. Worse part is that the advisors are always “busy” had to leave messages with the receptionist.
Sold me a new 2021 Yukon and they have 0 criteria on service ...
Beware of this dealership!!!! If you purchase here you will experience horrible service and totally regret your purchase. I am actually writing this review to prevent you from purchasing and going through horrible customer service from Powell Watson. I purchased a GMC truck at Powell Watson about 3 yrs ago. I had issues with the vehicle and apparently warranty was going to cover it. After several attempts to fix the vehicle Powell Watson could never get the parts right. It took months for them to get the parts and when I took it in for repair they took more than 2 months to return my vehicle. Let me begin by telling you that staff and the service manager Ramon Sotelo will give you the worst Customer service. They will never return your calls and the manager is useless . Ramon Sotelo doesnt ever know what is going on and has no control of that department. When I picked up my vehicle they performed a horrendous job on my vehicle. The service performed was extremely unprofessional and I cant believe Ramon Sotelo would think this was acceptable. My vehicle still is not fixed properly. I have gone back for other services and every time I have been there they can never get it right. They can never perform the service that is paid for with accuracy. I always have to return to get the job done properly. They will keep your vehicle for hours and days for the simplest service. We would call often to check on the vehicle and no one would bother to return the calls. Ramon Sotelo is a very incompetent manager who is unable to resolve issues and has no managerial skills to have the department run as it should and provide quality customer service. Instead of fixing issues he is confrontational with customers dismisses fixing flaws in the department. So sad GMC and Powell Watson are not aware of the treatment customers are given in Laredo. If you want to save yourself from horrendous customer service do not purchase at Powell Watson.
Oil change took 4 and a half hours for a waiter. The service was good, just to long to wait for.
This place was great to buy a car. I bought a gmc and a Toyota that day from their other dealer new. Class act i tell you. Thanks Joe for the excellent deal!

Worst customer service!! Never been to a dealership where they dont know what the heck they are doing.. took them 3 days to do a simple alignment. Left the truck 8am did not even bother to calm to let me know it wasnt ready .. called the third day they said said they had one side finished they just needed the other side.. I told them about an issue i was having with the transmission about hard downshifting from 2nd to first gear .. and said he thought it was because of my tiers too big .. they are completely morons .. btw was 10 min on hold
Do not go to this place .... service manager has an employee working that has tested positive for covid .... service manager from Mercedes is allowing this person to still be at work and does not care about the safety of others
Powell watson is great,i got a great deal on a car with very low monthly payments. they go above and beyond when helping u get approved for the car u want affordable monthly payments and great deals .mr manzo (the sales manager ) fights and pushes the banks to help u get approved there is no one better at getting someone approved than mr.manzoThey always make sure your car is ready and tested before you take your new carThey always leave the cars looking like new even if its an older model car they make sure u get the best looking and running car That u want they will not sell u cars that dont workThe sales team immediately came to me to ask me if i needed help finding a car they are on top of everything if there is a customer in need there will be a sales man and or woman ready to attend uMy salesman andy helped me find the car i wanted easy, he showed me the specs and details of the cars and went one by one .he answered all my questions and helped me understand alot about the cars he showed me i finally found one that i fell in love with and he and mr. Manzo and with the help of the general manager made a deal happen i love my car and i have no issues with it .truly a great experienceI would recommend everyone to come to powell watson because for sure im buying my next car here :))

I had a bad experience at the local powell watson /gmc with the service department . I took my vehicle in for a recall, oil change and tire rotation. When I went to pick it up after 8 days, I got the receipt that indicated they had done the service, including the, oil change and tire rotation. When I arrived home, I noticed that the oil change and tire rotation had not been done and immediately called the service department. I had to go through the incovenience of taking my vehicle back for the oil change. I did not even receive a call from the service manager apologizing. This is very bad service from Powell Watson trying to deceive people.

Not recommended!!! I just bought a vehicle 2 weeks ago and I had some issues with some rattle noises coming from the back side of my vehicle, I called GMC to tell them about my problem and first of all the receptionist was rude and not helpful at all. Second, the said I needed to leave my vehicle at the dealership so they could check it, which could take more than a couple of days. Third, when I bought my vehicle they told me they were going to provide me with transportation in case I would have any problems with my vehicle, well once I requested the transportation they told me they had a waiting list for that and that they were not sure when they would be able to assist me with transportation. It seems like the company doesn’t care about customers and they give you a good service when you want to buy. I don’t recommend GMC dealership at all. This is my first and last time buying with this company.
I had my 08 Cadillac CTS towed to the dealer trusting they can fix it, but It Took them 2 days to check my car then they said they don’t have an eta on the part. Then after a week Of waiting they call to tell me the part got there and will start working on it. I get a call an hour later and they tell me that my car is branded and they can not work on it. Which should of been advised to me in the first place. When I went to talk to the manager he no sympathy and was being very defensive. Never will I think of buying a car there not take a car I have there in the future.
I purchased a GMC terrain from here. After hours of negotiating, I finally got the price I wanted. Putting that aside, because that is typical of any car dealership, its going to be like pulling teeth to get them to pay off your trade in. Im at 3 weeks since purchase and my trade in still hasnt been paid off. Technically, the payoff was only for 10 days so im curious what going to happen with that.Overall, not a bad dealership, but dont try to trade in a vehicle... its not worth the headache.
This is the second time Ive take my vehicle to GMC Laredos service department. Both times Ive received horrible service, the first they lied to my about the wait time for a part they had to order which was meraciasly there when I call to complain. Now I made an appointment to have my vehicle serviced at 8am and still no word after 6 hours of waiting. I call and they advised me that no one has gotten to my car because sometimes they run late on appointments. Seriously, no courtesy call to let me know the status. Im really disappointed in their service. If you can, dont have your vehicle serviced here in Laredo, take it to SA Im sure youll get better assistance.
My husband and I had been searching for a new suv for several months through out Texas. Powell Watson was willing to price match offers from other dealerships. Luckily we got a better offer than we ever expected. We now have a new 2018 Yukon SLT at an excellent price. We never thought we would end up buying a vehicle locally. We received great customer service. We would like tol thank Kyle, Ozzie, and Eddie at Powell Watson for all their help.
Worst dealership ever, í bought a terrain its making a weard noise in the transmission and they say its normal i have had the suv for almost 4 month and its been more time at the dealeeship than with me. Plus the customer service worst ever really rude people they make you faces and never tell you the truth of whats going on with your vehicle. I really regrete buying from them and would never recomend.
