Had an excellent experience ordered up a gun belt in my size and they made it. Came out perfectly. They have excellent craftsmanship and authenticity. Keeping traditions alive for years to come. Only draw back is it takes time they have a long wait list of orders but it is well worth the wait for a genuine quality work of art. If you have patience wouldnt recommend anyone else.
I recently placed an order for a belt, holster and magazine pouch and was told that the wait could be as much as eight weeks; about par for the course now days I figured. However, my order showed up yesterday about six weeks early! All three pieces were a matching chocolate brown. The holster and mag pouch were molded for a perfect fit for my weapon (a H&K PSP: not your everyday 9mm!). The black stitching looked great and complemented each piece. The belt was also a proper fit. My order was promptly acknowledged and communication about the whole process was exceptional. Needless to say, I am quite happy with my purchase (the first of many I am sure). Keep up the great work guys and thank you.
I have waned a Wild Bunch rig for my 1911 for a long long time. I finally decided order one and called Kirkpatrick Leather directly. The employee I worked with was very knowledgeable and the two of us arrived at a belt size together. I have a 33” waist and I ordered a 38” rig. It seemed large to me and I was a bit worried during the weeks it took for them to build my rig. The email arrived saying it was done and then my Wild Bunch rig arrived in the mail shortly thereafter. It fits perfectly with the belt using the middle of the holes offers. Just perfect. The attention to detail is perfect and the look is great. I will pass this on to my son and he will pass it on to his. It is that kind of quality. Very happy.
SUPERB communication, lightning fast shipping, and the holster set was well crafted, beautifully hand-tooled, including a suede lined holster and belt, and more stunning than I expected !!! The holster was discounted due to an error in color for the original buyer, but was EXACTLY what I was looking for. They honored the sale price, and added the engraved buckle set that I cordially requested. They also worked with me on the shipping fee. Rachel, in Customer Service, was extremely cordial, polite, and very knowledgeable concerning their company operation. She answered ALL of my questions quickly and efficiently. When I am in need of additional leather work, in the future, I will be sure to contact Kirkpatrick Leather Company. Thank You !!!
Ordered a left handed cowboy holster for my vaquero 44-40. Absolutely perfect. Ok it took a little while but it is hand crafted so I’d rather wait than get it wrong. The rounds fit the belt perfectly and the pistol fits the holster like a glove. Very nice!!! Worth the money and the wait.
Outstanding quality (as always ) and service. It is awesome to buy a product that over performs! Do not hesitate to buy from Kirkpatrick Leather 👍👍👍
I recently purchased a LH #2145 open top conceal carry holster for my Bersa Thunder 380 and I couldnt be happier with it and the purchasing experience. In fact, over the years, Ive purchased several complete handgun carry rigs from Kirkpatrick Custom Holsters and all are great products that make packing my favorite sidearms much more comfortably and safely. And they look great too!. Kirkpatrick has made me a satisfied return customer again and again.Gary LestonWonewoc, WI.
Sent in for a order on June 3 they accepted it and took the money. Never got the order and had to cancel it on 8/9. Have emails saying 6to8 weeks and then told me it shipped and then lied and never sent it. Poor business
Absolutely outstanding craftsmanship!! Couldn’t be more pleased. Ordered a holster and gun belt for my Ruger Blackhawk, and it has exceeded my expectations. Their work is well worth the wait, you will not be dissatisfied with their products!
This company should be called drama cheap leather holders not holsters. Not only did I wait almost 8weeks for the item, but I got excuses towards the end ( we have too many orders, its within the 8 week order date, the paint is drying,.) Really.?!?!. Then I notice the glue started coming apart. Ill never order from this cheap place again.
Before this weekend I never owned a piece of Kirkpatrick leather. Not because I didnt want it, but because I never made myself let go an do it. Now I own one of their cowboy action rigs and am waiting for a casual wear belt and carry holster to follow. The rig I have now is Exquisite, plain compared to some others they have, but exquisite none the less; its the one I chose and is beautiful as well as functional. I had the privilege of meeting the Kirkpatrick family and staff, and perhaps the largest factor of their success is that it is a FAMILY business; a generations old business that is worked by a group of people that may not all share the same name, but share the same heart and heritage. There is probably 200 years of combined experience in that building, or more, and it blends together to painstakingly produce quality products. Sometimes you have to pay for quality, but its more than worth it when you want something better than good enough. Kirkpatrick is far better than good, theyre great, and I would send anyone their way who wants a gun holster, rifle sling, dress belt, or anything else you can use for years and pass on to your children.
I purchased my Kirkpatrick Leather Co. rig, consisting of; OWB Undercover (2010) holster, double magazine pouch (D62) and a 1-1/2” fully lined gunbelt (B55), for my third generation, Smith & Wesson 4006, in the summer of 2018. My weapon, an all stainless steel semiautomatic with a four inch barrel, chambered in .40S&W is heavy and I needed significant gunleather to carry it properly. When looking for gunleather, there are a couple of priorities I look to address. First is comfort. If the gear is not comfortable, I wont wear it and that defeats the purpose. My firearm can only save lives if it is on my hip when danger presents itself. What Ive heard called “program compliance. My Kirkpatrick Leather Co. rig is so comfortable I wear it nearly every day as my EDC firearm choice. The rig distributes the weight so well, it seems to all but disappear. My next priority is security of the weapon. The depth of the holster pocket that the weapon sits into, in my Undercover model 2010, and the quality craftsmanship that goes into the molding of the holster, allows the firearm to be held securely without the need of a tensioning screw. In my opinion, these are the top priorities but my Kirkpatrick gunleather also looks great and does a wonderful job protecting the finish of my firearm. The double magazine pouch I selected (D62), holds onto my spare magazines like the handshake of a dear friend. Additionally, the 1-1/2” fully lined gunbelt I chose for my rig, was customized by the craftsmen at Kirkpatrick, by stamping my family motto, in Latin, into the back. Its this kind of personalization that is very hard to come by, without incurring a heavy financial penalty. The good people at Kirkpatrick Leather Co. provided this six word moto (spelled correctly) at a very modest expense, that I was thrilled with.Lastly, expense must be considered. I have no doubt that you will be as pleased as I was at the pricing of the products at Kirkpatrick. You can easily spend, what I spent on my entire quality leather rig, on a holster alone, and perhaps not equal the Kirkpatrick quality.I fully expect to get many more years of valuable service from my Kirkpatrick Leather Co. gear. I have used it daily for over a year and, you can see from the photos that, it looks nearly as good as the day I received it. Now that’s what I call durability. Add all of these things up, and that is how I determine quality. I think it would be well worth your time to check out Kirkpatrick Leather Co. the next time you are in the market for quality gunleather.
I have ordered three or four holsters from Kirkpatrick leather and a couple different mag pouches. Everything has been great until today, I received my holster for my Springfield XDS, and it was completely saturated and still sticky and wet with black dye. The fumes completely filled up the room and made everyone in the house sick and vomiting with headaches to boot. It was so bad I had to throw the holster out into the trash and put the lid on it to keep the fumes from spreading. Today is a Saturday so I dont know how Kirkpatrick is going to fix this, Ill update on Monday after I have spoken with them, but this incident has seriously made me reconsider if Ill ever order from them again, their response to this issue will be the deciding factor.
Detective Carry for a Kahr P9. Amazing quality, Id recommend to everyone.
Special ordered a lined holster for a Glock 20. Within 2 weeks it was at my door.
