Placed an order for material on Monday to be delivered Wednesday. I called Tuesday afternoon for delivery time on Wednesday and no one could tell me a delivery time or unable to get hold of the driver. So I decided to pickup material myself on Wednesday Morning. Arrived and waited an hour and a half for material that should have been ready to load. Spoke to the yard man and they told me that my material wasn’t going to be ready for at least another two hours. Nobody knew what was going on so I canceled my order. My order was only 20 sheets of 15 ft plus 5 perlings. I have ordered material from here before and never had such bad service.

Great experience with JOE ANDRADE at Lone Star Steel! Excellent service. Got me what I needed and answered ALL my questions when I wasn’t sure what I needed to order to solve my construction dilemma. Very proactive salesman. Great price and quality materials. Even rolled my crazy custom trim on site! Beautiful location. Clean. Was under construction, but layout will be super efficient for when you need to go in and out to pick up material. Staging area is super nice! That counts when you want to know that your material will be in good shape when you buy it. The yard attendants—super polite and super helpful. Took great care when loading. Again, wonderful experience. Ask for JOE ANDRADE!

Best customer service ever. Its all about customer service in my opinion. Most businesses here in Laredo have forgotten the meaning behind that. But not Lonestar Steel. Thank you guys for everything you do.

After i went back i noticed that joe the manager was curtious and helpful. I realized that maybe in the past we all have our good days and bad days. None the lesI i also noticed that joe is actually a very nice and expirieced at his job. I truely appreciate his input and recomendations. I will keep going back as long as i need steel and iron works. I do recommend Lone Star Steel to every one in Laredo and surrounding ares.Also, as always, the Rodriguez Family is a friendly and respectfull group of people along with all of the staff inside and out.
