Wow, what a difference from last year . The store I give 4 stars but 1 star for the cooked food section. The grocery is a lot cleaner and more organized now. Veggies are more fresh than a year ago which we enjoy now plus I loved the fact that they label their fish where they come from, which I am very particular . Thank you for doing a good job management and staff. For the cooked food section, we Cant recommend. Sorry, but this needs to be posted for your improvement. Foods are mostly tasteless and high fat, some looked like not freshly cooked, not worth buying. We bought once and never again. Hoping for improvement in the quality and flavor of the food sold in the cooked food area.

Island Pacific has a good variety of Filipino items, and selections of vegetables and meats used for Filipino cooking. They even have pre-packaged vegetables used for specific dishes. Theyve got a good selection of fish as well.However, one thing that is slightly an eye-sore (and unappealing to buy) are some of the vegetables that they have let wilt. It looks gross and I would not want to purchase it when it looks like its been left outside in the heat for too long.I like their selection of Asian snacks and drinks. And theres a bakery and food restaurant inside (thats not ridiculously priced like Grill City), so thats a definite plus. When trying out things in the bakery, I would recommend the TAHO and the UBE PANDESAL...its so delicious!! They offer a punch card for the pandesal and taho, so dont forget that!

Staff up front by the cashier are very friendly, all the young ladies are sweet, attractive and helpful.Prices are higher than Chinatown area but it is a nice short ride instead of a ride to Spring Mountain area.Filipino food stall have good food and they give you big portions. Must try! Their staff is also friendly and great.

🤮🤢FOOD INSPECTION UPDATE! 7-26-21The fish cut/cleaned/wrapped in open refrigerators was so nasty. I could not find 1 cut cleaned salon head that was NOT green or turning green and there was about 10 packs. The whole cleaned fish wrapped next to them didnt look well either. The temperature is to warm and not properly keeping these fresh. I called over a worker who when I questioned and showed him, seemed concerned, after all done to only walk away and never come back as waited 30 minutes and made rounds around to notice now certain fresh fish on the ice, I noticed this on the fresh salmon heads 1st again not proper temperature and half not looking good. Was not enough ice for the fresh fresh at all. I even found one package of fish cut filet wrapped was ripped open in the back☠🙀. Made way around to produce, be very careful to look at what you buy in produce here. Some things can get old & have mold on them. Again they need to be checking there ALL there produce periodically and making sure of right temperatures all fridges here because there incorrect. The staff utterly does not care. Manager nowhere to be found to talk to. We did notice alot of the supposedly fresh baked/wrapped deserts at the front and I question these. There are no prices on any, I asked lady she stated bring whatever one wanted over, Ill scan it.. she said-huh? Thats alot to bring over utterly a cart full just to know how much each is! I question the accuracy of the freshness etc on all them, if they cant put a price on it, they definitely dont care about nothing else. I would not trust those either.

Perfect Asian market needed in the area, has little of everything even a restaurant inside.

Stood at the counter in the back for 15 minutes trying to get a cut of fish. No one would look at or respond to me, but everyone around me was being helped. I do not know why, I asked for help, I waved at the 4 guys behind the counter several times. It was incredibly unprofessional.

Prices are overcharged when you check out. The advertised prices are not honored at check out. You need to watch this place like a hawk or they will steal from you. The fish is rotten and needs to be dumped in the trash. They have a guy standing there in the seafood dept staring at the customers, i asked him what the problem? He said he was standing there becuase of the health department was getting ready to shut them down again. No need to buy fish here, just check in the dumpster.

I only go in there to pick up for Doordash and it is not to bad.

I like this place for its redeeming qualities it has unusual and exotic products that you wont see anywhere else I believe its philippine-based so you can find calamansi limes you can find exotic fish like parrot fish, and the plus is you can purchase the fish and have them cook it at the restaurant for you but some of the cons or that quite often the produce is a bit on the expired side, the place does smell really bad and some of their products appear to be incredibly old

The grocery store customer service was great.In the food court customer service was bad the cashier give it to another customer my food and she return it back and the server try to give me the food I told her to change it shes not happy ? I work in a restaurant too as a GM if you made a mistake change a new food especially right now with COVID.

I like the store and some cashier, but for one name Julia, she’s not very friendly and kinda don’t like her job. Very RUDE, even though they are not busy.

Who says I hated the store??? I loved it plus I had an excellent lunch in the cafeteria style eatery. Great prices, a totally new experience! I suggest you not go with an Islander Go experience by yourself as there is so much to see and buy! FRESH FISH OF EVERY VARIETY, TOO!

Great prices for the quality of fish and meat they have. Plus they have a huge selection of whole fish and they will clean the fish you pick, as well as deep fry it for free. I almost always get the golden pompano its usually 4 or 5$ a pound, sometimes cheaper. Sometimes I have them fry it crispy other times I get it cleaned and grill it whole myself. Other fosh are good too. They also have produce and soups, sardines, snacks, and a little buffet type restaurant inside with lots of Asian food always looks great.

I bought fried lumpia. It was kind of greasy cause they just made it. Ordered rice, tapa, and the tapa was not as tasty as I wouldve liked either I give it 4 stars for the customer service is excellent

Went for 1st time to get takeout Pinoy food. What a selection but be prepared for higher price points as compared to little pampanga or fiesta Filipina. Problem with large amount of choices is you often sacrifice quality. Dont know if Id return since considerable distance from my home and this spot is too busy for me.

The cashier woman closest to the entrance doors at 7:40 pm was rude. I accidentally used an expired card twice and she just kept putting papers down saying it was declined and said it out loud in front of another customer. (Embarrassing and distasteful) As I was pulling out the right card to scan with she just allowed the other customer to start putting stuff on the counter and started scanning away despite me still being in front of the card reader. They were not 6 feet away from me and this is a bold risk to my health and the other customer as far as they know for her to have allowed that instead of waiting for me to finish the transaction. Im disappointed in her actions and I hope she learns from this. We come here often but after today we may just go elsewhere. Ugh.

Great having a Asian good size market in the area, but fish is overpriced tuna grade a for sushi has a ton of fat on it. You can catch good deals now and then on certain things. Its a variety of all Asian foods thou. I dont care for the restaurant inside not my style food. But love being able to pick up some items at the market without going all down to China town.

Shout out to the gentleman (02/13; around 1830 PST) replenishing supplies by the veggies/salted eggs aisle. Great customer service!! (sorry.. didnt catch name).

Always good except for the cashiers

A lot of times when I go into places I kind of do just a fast glimpse at things. The next time I come in Ill make sure that I have some time just spend looking around and really checking this place out. The little bit that I did taste was pretty good so to do a fair review I have to spend more than 10 minutes in a place. I never let anyone know when Im going to go in I just do it and it seems to make for a better review and not being pushed away from the bad stuff that some stores like to hide. Im not saying that this is a bad store because I havent spent no time in it.

Ive been to the other location of Island Pacific Supermarket and I will say Im not a fan of this location. The vegetables were dirty and wilted/old looking.

Food is great, but the cashiers in the grocery area needs to tone down on flirting with customers. Cashier was being all friendly and giddy with my husband and then when i stepped in to pay i was treated rudely and cold, no eye contact, friendly greeting whatsoever. Like, Seriously ladies?

Do not buy seafood there !!! My family went there to buy some crawfish & I boiled them in nothing but water. The minute we all took a bite, it was horrible! It tasted like they haven’t switched them out for months ! Old meat being sold should not be displayed!
