Got an appointment for the next day. Our brakes were squeaking and we thought we needed work done. Mr Brake told us we still had 50% on the front and 50% on the rear and that the squeaking was just from some dust and debris. They cleaned out the dust and debris and didnt charge us. I could not believe that they were so honest and wonderful! We will definitely be back when we need new brakes.

I took my car to a different place first as my brakes were making noises. I was quoted $926 for pads and rotors. I decided to get a second opinion at Mr. Brake. I took my car there this morning and THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY BRAKES! The noise was from something that was not serious and did not need repair. There was still 45% left on my brake pads! I was on a several thousand mile vacation and upon passing through Las Vegas started experiencing a concerning sound coming from my brake. I called Mr Brake and he informed me that all of his bays were booked until the following week but if I could bring the car by he would at least take a look at it and let me know whether or not I would need brakes. I got to his shop and quickly seen just how busy they were. I watched how they all interacted with their customers. It wasnt a very long wait until he could get out there and look at the brakes. Although my concern was the front right brake, he checked all four and checked the fluids. He explained to me the sound I was hearing. He also told me the percentage of brake pad left. Told me what to expect and how long brakes should last. All in all, I was very pleased.

I had a horrible squealing sound from my rear drums. Made an appt, fit me in early, diagnosed as the E-brake cable. Only charged half an hour to re-route and secure it. Any place else could have charged for an entire new set of brakes. Very ethical and honest. I was so happy I had him change all 4 shocks that were original. Drives like new. These are very good people and I will go back.

I was quoted 550 for front brakes from my usual Toyota mechanic, and Mark fixed my brakes for just under 200. This is because he can machine the rotors rather than replace them. Day started driving around who would accept my car fix the brakes which is not safe anymore because its a vital part of the vehicle. Brake pads was my first assessment because i can hear the grinding sound of it metal to metal, guess thats the best i can describe it. I looked up in google brake pad replacement then Mr Brake displayed top of of the list. And its the 5th auto shop i will stop-by because all other shops denied my request. When i got there, all techs were busy, but when i asked one of the techs i think his name was Drake asked me whats the car problem then asked me if i have an appointment but i dont have, he still accepted my request then signed up the work order. Not so long i saw my car was already on the hydraulic lift. WOW! It was a relief because this was my only day off to do it. The car cannot wait another week because the brakes were unreliable already. Then not too long they showed me the actual brakes where needed the replacement and explained its condition and gave me the costs and then went ahead the replacement. Overall i think took only an hour or less to be done. WOW! Day turned out better because i had spare time to have it detailed cleanining.... BOOM! Thank you so much Mr Brake! Highly recommended!!!

They seem like nice people but when I called in to get my brakes done I told them that I already have the parts for it and they said that they dont use customer parts. Why not? Theyre losing a lot of customers if thats the case because a lot of people want to buy their own parts. Thats a shame they seem nice

Good place to get your brakes done. They dont allow use of parts that you bring in to install on your vehicle and dont do any aftermarket type of parts either. Good friendly service though but just prepare to pay a little more as they only use their own parts to replace the items on your vehicle.

It had cost me $180 less than the car dealership I usually go to for all four rotors checked, the front resurfaced, all four pads replaced and new brake fluid. Bill the manager welcomed us upon our appointment, got an estimate within minutes and even invited me into the shop showing me the current condition of my brakes. You get the feel of a mom and pops operation which I personally like.It is definitely wheelchair accessible.My first experience at MR. Wish I could give 6 stars. I have a 2017 Ram 3500. I tow a Grand Design Momentum 349m which is 16,500 pounds. The brakes in my truck squeal but only every now and then. But I didnt want to risk undue brake wear while towing so I went to Mr Brake to get them checked out. Mr Brake himself helped me! He drove the truck and heard the brake noise. Then he visually inspected the brakes. He saw that they only had minor wear. This really set my mind at ease. He didnt charge me anything for the inspection either! I really appreciate their time. Mark, the owner was very accomodating with my request to work on my 1996 toyota rav4, and at the last minute. I cane in at 3:40pm and even though he was closing the store, he managed to get me in and out in no time. He did my brake adjustment on my rear brake drums because i had adjusted em wrong and man i tell u he saved the day for me. To top it off he only charged me $28 and change for the adjustment. I rarely leave reviews but i felt i had to leave him a great comment. This guy is one of the best in town!!!

After reading all of the great reviews I decided to take a chance and check them out when my back wheels started making a humming sound. Mark was at the front desk and was super nice and was able to get me immediately for a free estimate. I needed rear brakes, they were at 1%, front brakes still had plenty of wear. Their prices were super reasonable and they were able to get me out in 30 minutes! Score! What a fantastic experience. They didn’t try to sell me parts I didn’t need and didn’t make me sit there for hours. Mark knows his stuff and will explain everything in detail, and really does honest business. I will definitely be coming back!

I installed new brakes, rotors and calipers on my truck. After installation, I had spongy brakes. I bled and bled them, but to no avail, they were still spongy. I gave up and took them to a shop to see where I did wrong. The one shop said I needed a new master cylinder and abs module, so I called around and got recommended to call Mark at Mr. Brake. I took my truck there, and the next day my truck was braking the way it should....after they realized *right away* what I had done wrong in the process...I had put the calipers on backwards. 😱They fixed my mistake and had my truck braking better than new. Mark is as good-natured and honest a guy as Ive ever met.I explained to him that Im looking to do any necessary preventative maintenance on my (very old) car but not dump a ton of money into it and he was able to give me a detailed breakdown of the cars brake and suspension issues and which things were not absolutely necessary. Ive had work done there twice in my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. Theyre honest and good. I was shown how bad my brakes were and got a complete explanation of the situation. I highly recommend them.

This is my second time having the brakes done on my BMW here and I had excellent service once again. The prices are reasonable and the guys are honest. There was another customer there who wanted both rear and front brakes done and was ready to pay for it. The service guy checked it out and told him that his rear brakes were almost new and did not need to be changed. Any other place would have taken his money and left the same brakes on.

Mr Brake has to be the most honest and fair priced brake shop in Las Vegas. I went in prepared to replace all 4 of my brakes. They showed me that I did not need to replace my fronts and only needed the rears. They did the job in about 45 minutes and were not much more than Volvo Las Vegas wanted to charge just to look at my brakes!

I took my Toyota Tacoma to the Toyota dealership on west Sahara and was quoted TWICE as much as what I paid at Mr. Brake and Mr. Brake did TWICE the work with TWICE the parts. Awesome!
