Excellent service would not describe what we received here at the warmsprings/eastern location. I brought my fathers truck in for a few repairs. In the course of information gathering from Chris, I explained my father recently passed and what the truck meant to us. Chris went beyond his usual service of informing us along the way. He made us feel like a family member. It is difficult to explain with words just how wonderful our experience was. Often once you agree to the service and parts, that is the limit of contact until you get the bill and pick up call. Not the case here. Each step of the repair was text or called to us, just to make sure we knew how our truck was doing. He even found a few discounts we qualified for. Ricky, the store manager reflected the quality we received in the initial phone call to set up the inspection. He made me feel at ease with my decision to bring my truck to them. We will return for all our needs in the future.

Kyle was very professional and gave GREAT service. I took in a vehicle that was new to me and was going to drive it alone to Az and wanted to make sure there were no issues. He researched the vehicle history and informed me of service that had not been done. There was no pressure to do the extra work, but I felt very comfortable with Kyle’s recommendation and proceeded with the repairs. I would highly recommend Kyle and this store location ( I haven’t been to any other location). Excellent customer service! 5 stars!

Consistent excellent service and very friendly customer service for more than 15 years now. Staff is always polite and very patient when explaining details of each visit and honest when it comes to prioritizing what needs to be done....I know this because the first time I came in (15 years ago), I took their recommendations to a trusted family friend (who knows everything about cars) and he confirmed each of the items on the list that Ted Wiens recommended in the exact order of what was high priority and what could wait until later. That was big for me since I know very little about cars and hate going into auto places feeling pressured about what needs to be fixed right away. So happy I found a place that doesnt try to rob me blind every visit.

I always took my cars here for oil changes, but with reviews I’ve read I was scared to take it there to get some actual work done because I heard they were t food and they over Charge, I was always skeptical to let them do anything else so I never did and now I know why, I brought it to them trusting that they know what they are doing, and they told me I had a leak in my radiator that’s why my car was trying to over heat. But I had told them that I thought it was the cooling fan and they didn’t even check that and just automatically said it was my radiator. Didn’t send me a picture of the leak in the radiator just the top of it. But I trusted them and they said the thermostat was running to hot and the hose was bad okay so I trusted them with that as well and they charged me $906 dollars. And claimed they that’s a Discounted price which I don’t think it was and the person got an attitude when I was questioning them about the price. And after returning my car (a day and a half later, they kept it over night) which had nothing wrong besides the front axle needs to be fixed and the gasket valve cover nothing else wrong and I was told when speaking to the person on the phone that my axle and cover didn’t need immediate attention. besides that it was running hot when I was in idle and suggested a throttle body cleaning. they didn’t put the top radiator hose on correctly and the bottom hose they kept the plastic on the hose. I have a leak now which I believe is engine oil and it’s a puddle under my car on the drivers side and it was never like that before I let them work on my car. they didn’t put the clamp on correctly to the radiator they just left it hanging on the inside. And they left their trash in the car the wrapper that the new thermostat came in. They didn’t give me my vehicle back better they made the situation worse! And for that amount of money is ridiculous and I will never take any of my vehicles back to them or refer anyone to go there ever again. Can’t drive the car without it getting hot there’s hardly any coolant in the overflow tank and looking in the radiator looks like there isn’t anything in there either but after changing the radiator they should have topped it off with coolant but doesn’t look like it was done. And I shouldn’t have a leak because if the leak was there previously the 2 times I took it there to get an oil change they would have instead the told me including the manager, they told me it’s a really good vehicle no leaks nothing never had an issue with it until I took it here! I’m highly upset luckily when My car started getting hot I was able to make it home with no issues but couldn’t turn my ac on and had to keep the heater on even then it was still trying to get hot and not able to use your ac in this heat is terrible especially if your riding around with your kids! They don’t know what they are doing! Or just didn’t care. I was missing screws and all!!! This is terrible service! Very careless. And not only they messed up my car they are closed on Sunday and I have to be without my car until Monday to take it back so they can fix what they messed up. So frustrating.

If I could rate 0, I would.Recently, our window stopped going up, we went there hoping they could simply put it back up. At first they seemed professional and friendly, but as our time there went on, they became very pushy that the window HAD to be fixed and that there was no way they could put our window up without replacing all of the alleged broken parts they found inside.Being since its been so hot outside, we just wanted to get things fixed as soon as possible so we could use our air.Our bill came back to over $1,000. I had to apply for a loyalty card. The guy ordered the parts rather quickly before we could really decide what we were going to do.On the way out, our car window was up despite them swearing up and down they couldnt do it.We tried cancelling the parts, saying we changed our minds, they refused and said it was all non refundable and that well still receive a bill regardless if we go ahead with the repairs or not.Bunch of crooks at this location. Do NOT go here.

Kyle was amazing! Super helpful and knowledgeable. He explained everything that could be wrong and once they figured it out exactly he explained to a t what it was and why. We were in and out of there in a couple hours. We wont take our truck anywhere else.

I picked up a bolt/screw in my left rear tire coming home from an appointment & my dashboard alerted me to the low pressure. I filled up the tire and went to Ted Wiens Tire for a repair at 4 PM. They were very courteous and squeezed me in before they closed at 5:30 so I could get back on the road. I was very pleased!

Finally people that know what they are doing! First off, I have been to 2 different mechanics in the Vegas area and was not satisfied with the service. I had an issue with my Dodge Ram that another car service did not properly diagnose. Instead, they fixed a minor issue to get some money from me, and sent me on my way. My truck started showing more belt issues so I took it to Ted Wiens. Chris and Ricky were extremely professional and communicated the process they would use to properly diagnose this issue. I left my truck overnight and come to find out I had a belt issue along with a failing fuel pump. After picking up my truck, I was impressed that the issue was not only fixed but that they communicated with me along with way about other steps. Ted Wiens was recommended to me by my company because this location fixes and services our company trucks. I am happy with their service, professionalism and communication. I have been screwed over several times and I this team is not here to make a buck or tag on extras. They are passionate about their reputation and service and it shows. Received excellent service from Ozzie and Chris when I needed headlights installed and then again when I need brakes installed. Very professional and kind and never once made me feel like I was being ripped off because Im a woman, they showed me what the problem was and told me what needed to be done and gave me recommendations for the future I will definitely be returning for future needs. Fast and easy! They got me in and out! They offered me the least expensive option without me asking. I am appreciative of the service. I came out of a party to a flat tire. I had to drive 5 miles to them. They got me back on the road.

I would not recommend Ted Wiens. Any location! First service they told me I needed new control arms they were broke, and I had a rear shock leak. Got new tires there, they lost the lock to my wheels. When I went to get a tire rotation we discovered this. Also discovered that the control arms must of fixed themselves and the leak was gone. A miracle. After buying a new tire lock from Lexus I gave them one last chance. They rotated my tires, no inspection completed and they never even checked my tire pressure. Spend your money elsewhere. UPDATE- in response to your reply your are wrong stating you had issues with your tablet as I walked the vehicle with the tech who inspected it at your Rainbow location and he clearly stated that there was no issues with the control arms or leaks??? I had called the shop to inform you of the lock that was misplaced after your warm springs location replaced the tires and you did not mention to pair for the lock. I than called back and spoke with you Ricky about checking the tire pressure and you told me to drive it a few miles and it would be at the right tire pressure. Maybe because I am a woman you think that I am not mechanically knowledgeable. Sorry you feel you had to cover up for lack of service with untruthful excuses.

Well I went there just to get my oil cap loosened and the gentleman that helped me noticed I was had some serious problems with a belt. So found out I needed them replaced. Im very grateful for the young man who noticed the belt in time. They took very good care of my car and got me back safely on the road.

This place is awesome. I found this location back in 2015 and having coming here ever since. I usually get preventive maintenance done to my vehicles (nothing major). They are very good with the services, quick and their pricing is fair. Ozzie is the best. He will check you in and keep you updated on progress of your vehicle. The mechanics are professional and wont soil your vehicle with grease and dirt.. like I said, a awesome place to get your vehicle serviced...

Ozzy and staff were very easy to work with. Car was ready as promised. It was my first time there and while waiting. Spoke with several customers who told me they have bee coming to this location for over 7 and 12 years. Good enough for me.. prices were in line with most discount tire and service facilities.

My car was repaired at another shop in California for all the work recommended at a fraction of the costs. I took my care back to get oil changed regularly and was told my car leaked oil, the counter clerk took me to the back of the shop and told me that the oil has been leaking, I would have seen oil on the drive way of my house, I said there has not been any oil on my driveway. I would have known because my association would find me for that.. then the counter clerk said I had issue with my battery which did not pass the test, I said it was new, I just replaced it last month and it had 5 years warranty.. he then said I should take the car back to have it recheck or they can re-seat the battery for me at a small charge, I said no, thank you..I said I have only prepared for $40 oil change and this place gave me a statement that work needed for over $3300.00+, I told him it is more than what my car worth and I had my mechanic in Calif does all the work for a lot less already, I just come in for oil change and was almost scammed for work not needed. Buyer beware. I m Asian, elderly, woman, minority and smart.. I took the estimate statement home to share, I have done what recommended elsewhere, when I came in for oil change they assumed that I did not fix the issues and tried to tell me that I should not be driving the car anymore. It is urgent or I would be on the side of the road.. I said I have AAA and I would get a rental car if they cannot get be back on the road right away. I paid for the oil change and left. I m 400 miles away from my home town and my car is running well. Watch out everyone.

I am a full time Uber driver and get my car serviced regularly and please believe me when I say its hard to find a trustworthy mechanic in Las Vegas! Not anymore! Gave them a try after they did a fantastic job on my daughter’s car. They did not disappoint. From beginning to end it was a joy, and that’s not usually what happens when you deal with car issues. Had an alignment and an oil change done. Everything was done in the time frame promised and came to about $100 less than other places I used to frequent. Love the updates via text regarding the stage of repair my car is in and the report they send with upcoming recommended service needed. And that is truly what it is. A recommendation. No push or pressure for getting it done right then and there. Staff is so friendly and personable. They are literally within walking distance of my house and I can’t believe I didn’t come here sooner. All I can say is that my car found a new home for repairs and maintenance. Sometimes the best things are right under your nose and you just don’t see it :) Give them a try. You will be pleasantly surprised!

Ran into an incident where a huge piece of metal left in street an damaged a newer tire. We are 2000 miles from home and called all over town cause no one could help for 3 or 4 days cause it was wideoval low pro tire .Ted Wiens on s fort apache Las vegas was there to help with the issue same day in short time . So happy and they are very courteous and nice place to deal with. If I lived in this area they would always be my 1st choice to deal with

I went to the location it was purchased and they insisted I was liable for a labor cost of $75 to replace it.So, I called another Ted Weins’ at 2323 E Warm Springs Rd and Eastern Ave for a comparison quote. Chris answered, was very congenial over the phone, and told me right away the terms of the warranty would cover the battery and labor and offered me an appointment the next day.I went in and was greeted by Ozzie who was so friendly and professional, not just with me, but all the customers I saw him interact with. I forgot to confirm the cost before I left and figured I’d pay at least a $25 service charge.Their text-based system alerted me when it was done within the hour, and when I didn’t respond, they took the time to call me. I picked it up, I was helped by yet another warm and helpful employee who told me all I owed them was a signature.Even though it’s farther from my house, I intend to get all my services done at this Ted Weins’ from now on. I highly recommend them!

I have at least a dozen vehicles I take to Ted Wiens for oil changes, smogs and various repairs. They did their usual great job getting me in and out and showing me a deep slice into one of the tires. I asked how much and he said $405.00 out the door. I declined, drove to discount tire and bought the same tire exactly out the door for $207.00. For the first time ever, I felt like I was being ripped off by the company. I hope it’s the last.

I truly appreciate the service I received at Ted Wiens - Warms Springs. They took great care of my car, a Fiat 500 Pop with a lot of miles. It was a messy job for sure but they went above and beyond repairing extensive damage on what I thought was a hopeless situation. The initial report was very helpful with the photos and they kept me updated on the progress and discovery. After getting it back, one quick look under the hood and it was like looking at a brand new engine. It really shines. I also noticed the attention to detail all alround the car and I cant thank you guys enough. I can finally drive my car with confidence again. I’ve experienced 3 different incidents where I had a screw stuck in my tire and each time Ted Wien’s tires on Warm Springs immediately took care of patching my tire. Wait time is minimal and service employees are extremely professional and courteous.

After my last experience with my Honda which wasn’t the greatest I had taken my car to a different shop and they misinformed that my radiator was cracked and possibly need a new transmission. since it was under warranty here, so I brought it back, and Ricky is the best he let me know that there was nothing wrong with the radiator the transmission had little to no fuel which was the reason for my car not moving properly. Also that it looked like someone fiddled with it. Ricky reassured me everything was fine and I moved forward with getting my axle and some other things fixed, and got it back to me the same day and I was very happy about that and my car has been running perfect with no hiccups! I will continue to bring my car here and Ricky definitely won my trust back and I will no longer trust anyone else with my car thank you team I appreciate it.

This place is absolutely Extrodinary!! Iam completely satisfied with the work that I had done to my 2015 Cevy Sonic LT. I had quite of things done however!! The service Manager is Josh but the new cat on deck is Mike. Totally and completely solid men my fellow customers. GREAT PLACE, QUALITY WORK AND PEOPLE WITH A GOOD ATTITUDE, more important pleasant employees ready to help not just there to take my money!! I never received a call when this Ted weinz “had to” add $100 alignment for my order. It was necessary in the end but just never got a heads up. Surprise! Showed up to a higher bill without a word. Normally really like this place but no sure anymore

I am giving 4 instead of 5 because of a flub in Tire Rack install pricing. First let me say that the installation was perfect, and done quickly, although my contact info was lost once lol.Tire Rack gives an initial quote for install. This does not include TPMS. I knew that. When getting to this store they did not have access (?) to the tire rack order nor the install quote. So they look at my order which didn’t have a quote, so a new quote is generated. It’s about 60% higher than the original Tire Rack quote but I did get a little help with a military discount. This includes TPMS which Tire Rack does state may raise the cost of the install.Now, the kicker. The install quote is a separate email. Which I didn’t know till after the install. I showed them the order, not the install quote. Would it have made a difference? I don’t know since the quote isn’t broke down, but I am surprised the dealer wouldn’t know there are separate emails for order, delivery, install quote.Again, the work was superb! Difference in price maybe a few dollars to ten or so. But someone going to Tire Rack is trying to save money.

It is the second time that I experienced weird things that something els needs to fix of which has nothing to with the repair. The first time was the driver side cloud not open or closed. This time for throttle housing and clean fuel injection came with engine rattling like it falling a part..

I was extremely disappointed with my Ted Wiens Tire & Auto interactions. I was told that it would take two hours and cost $280 to change three bolts to another direction. So I went to another mechanic for a second opinion and it took him 20 minutes to do the same thing and he didn’t even charge me. I guess he’ll be the one getting my recommendations and future business. Your company might want to start being honest with their customers and stop ripping them off.

All the guys I interacted with were very informative and very pleasant. Ricky explained in detail & showed pictures of what was done & what was needed soon. He didn’t try to up sell anything to me. I highly recommend this place.

10/29/20I had the pleasure of having my vehicle checked out by Ricky B. and Jonathan O. I came in to the shop by a referral from a coworker and I must say I was NOT disappointed. From the moment I walked in till the time I came to pick up my car, I felt my car was in good hands. There was nothing that I can complain about because I came in with the expectations of my car being fixed with the problems I had explained to them. My brake pedal would slammed all the way to the ground even though I had brand new brake pads, I would wobble on the freeway and sometimes on the side streets, and I had a clicking sound coming from the passenger side glove compartment. Sure they had some recommendations for me to do, however, they explained it was not life threatening. After driving the car for a few weeks now, my brake pedal is like brand new, I don’t sway anymore, and the clicking sound is gone! Thank you so much to the team at Ted Wiens in Warm Springs. Ask for Ricky and say I referred you. You WON’T regret it.11/18/20Because I had such a GREAT experience, I brought my truck in to be serviced this time. I needed my cooling and brake flushed along with differential service. I messaged Ricky to see what day worked best to drop off my truck and to my surprise he was able to get me in the next couple of days. I thought I was going to leave the truck overnight but to my surprise again, they finished the job the same day 🙏🏽🙌🏾. I am thankful to have reliable mechanics that won’t gyp you off. If you need your car serviced, come to Ted Wiens rather than the dealership. They won’t charge you an arm and a leg.

I had low air in the tires I had bought from your shop, you wanted $21 to check the pressures. 21 bucks to check my air,and it would take an hour. I am not a happy shopper.

I have used Ted Wiens Tire and Auto for 4/5 years and have never a problem with their customer service or auto service. The Fort Apache shop has superior customers service. A great crew of employees. All of my car repairs are done with care. I will recommend them to everyone.

Mechanic was awesome.. purchasing an engine for an old truck is not an easy decision but that’s the decision that was made so thank you for the engine portion of my experience. Now we have towed the truck back in a couple times and Ted Wiens took care of the issues even though I offered to pay so thank you Arron . The one issue that still has not been resolved is the communication issue .. we don’t know if there is a break in period or when oil is supposed to be changed or bring back in to do a look over since it is a Jasper engine . Please can I also get what type of warranty I get please . Just a couple bumps on the road but still 5 star review . Thank you .

After returning very frustrated about my initial experience Aaron the manager was very helpful addressing the issues we discussed.I’m grateful to not have to go somewhere else and due to the customer service of going above and beyond I do have to say I will be back and recommending Ted Wiens.

The guys here always take good care of my husbands trucks and my car. Aaron and Jason always take good care of us. We really like the fact that they dont try to up sell us or anything. They almost always get the job done on the same day. We will always recommend this place.

My first experience with these guys they replaced my faulty steering pump. They chose a super cheap off brand to replace it with. That new pump failed while driving up a winding mountain road to snow ski a week later. When I took it back in they said the pump is good that I needed all this front end work that ended up costing me $2000. I picked up the car and drove home with no steering. I called and said this and brought it back in the next day and they finally admitted they put a faulty steering pump in.I just gave them one more chance even though everyone I know said not to. I went in and asked for my brake pads to be replaced. I shouldve noticed the smarmy sales answer saying, ok well get it checked out. I shouldve said No, either you say ok well change your brake pads or dont waste my time. Brake pads cost $40 at Autozone. After Checking out my vehicle they decided I needed $1500 worth of work if I ever wanted to use my brakes again. I told them to put my car back together I will do it myself. I went to AutoZone bought $40 brake pads and had working brakes about an hour and a half later. Never use these guys.

With heat advisories in Vegas, my cars temp gauge was starting to climb a lil higher. I thought it just needed some antifreeze, but it lookd full & didnt take very much. I had to drive without Ac for a couple days, bcuz Ive been unemployd since covid. I wasnt sure what problem was & I couldnt afford any major repairs on only car I have. O I called Ted Wiens & explained issues, Chris said theyd do diagnostic for $50. Ive taken my car there many times before & trust this place. They had to flush system, replace my thermostat & gasket, a new radiator cap & new antifreeze. I was so happy & thankful when I drove away & was able to use my Ac, that same day.

They have great customer service, Everyone does especially Ozzy in the front.10 stars

I know this is gonna sound bad, but Ive never taken my own car in. I had no idea what I was doing or what was wrong. Chris was so helpful and made sure i understood exactly what was wrong with my car. I learned something I didnt even know thanks to their team!! I will be taking my car to them for all its problems.

I made the mistake of letting my daughter drive my car. What she ran over and blew out a tire remains a mystery. I went right to Ted Wiens at 7 am after work and WOW!!!I got my baby fixed! Went and bought everybody there some donuts, and was in and out before I knew it!Great service. Thanks so much!

I have been a patron of Discount Tires for over 28 years, but the last visit I made in Las Vegas they were unbelievably rude, and made me wait in the parking lot in the hot sun for 50 minutes, even though I had an appointment.. I got tired of waiting, so I drove out of the parking lot, and they never even called me to see why.I immediately went to Ted Weins down the road and they were so friendly and bent over backwards to help me! I was allowed to come into their showroom, and sit while they put 4 new toes on my car. I just went back yesterday to have new tires put on my truck! The staff was just as nice and helpful as the first visit.I will never go anywhere else for my vehicles. Excellent company!
