Such an amazing team of caring instructors that love diving and teaching. They made us feel like a part of their diving community, and we had so much fun. Diving with Sin City in Lake Mohave was such an incredible part of our Las Vegas visit. Their shop is stocked with everything you can think of, and they take the time to talk you through proper use.Thank you Sin City Scuba!!!

Decided to stop in here to check out their inventory. We are from out of town and my husband wanted to see their spearfishing gear. We were surprised that they had a great selection of scuba stuff in addition to some spear fishing guns and things of that nature. We were immediately greeted by who I think was the owner. Very welcoming and was happy to assist with any questions we had. They shared some recommendations on local diving spots to check out too which is awesome for people like us who are not familiar with the waters here. Very helpful. Very good customer service. Prices are comparable to other shops and they have a good assorted selection of all things diving. A+ buisness.

Amazing place with amazing people. I got my open and advanced certificates through Shellie and Curtis and they are amazing. From the first time I met them they treated me like I had been in their dive crew for years. They emphasize safety so much which was really important to me and during our dives I noticed how passionate this team is at making sure all divers are safe, even divers from other companies. I definitely suggest using this crew as they have many instructors who are more than happy to help you learn and grow into the diver you want to be.

AVOID!Listen to the other honest reviews. This is hands down, the rudest shop Ive ever experienced. Ive lived and dove in Florida and California and never been subjected to such attitudes. Avoid this place like the plague and find a better shop.

These guys are world class instructors. Very clear with their instruction and more importantly very patient.

I have been diving over twenty years. I bought new gear from Sin City. I had to return to the shop three times to get the gear put together correctly...the BCD was incorrectly set up and the wrong parts from other BCDs were incorrectly used. When I finally had enough, they blamed me and I was told I didnt know how to dive...Third Reef Divers looked at my gear and fixed it in 30 minutes, for free, the first time....only good thing about Sin City is that I have a more than a handful of dive buddies that share in their mutual distain for Sin City and how they were treated as customers.Dont believe me, watch them interact with other divers at the lake...hopefully the dive community will band together and run Sin City out of the industry.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. They even gave me a veterans discount. Awesome job 👏

I have only delt with Bruce and Curtis, but, they are the greatest!

Can’t tell about the experience with them, I cancelled for personal reasons. Make sure you know the price tag for the e-learning, it is not refundable after you enter the site (even if you didn’t use it at all) $195. I think it is little higher but got stuck with something I won’t use. I suggest you to research other places outside Vegas, pictures on the site are on salt water and lake mead does not look like that.

I just completed my first course and became open water dive certified yesterday. Everyone from Sin City Scuba was so wonderful to work with! The instructors are experienced, knowledgeable, and oh so very patient (I experienced a few hiccups along the way, including a bit of anxiety, and they had no problems helping me determine what was causing my issues and doing a bit of handholding to calm my anxiety). I was half way through the course wondering if maybe this was one item I wasn’t meant to scratch off of my bucket list, but thanks to Curtis, Donny, Regina, and David I was able to correct the problems I was experiencing, find the calmness I needed to be successful, and by the time I entered the water for my open water dives I was confident in the skills they’d taught me. It was an amazing experience, and I’m so excited to sign up for my next class with them. I would recommend Sin City Scuba and their team of dedicated, fun, and passionate instructors to anyone interested in diving!!!

Let me tell you about this shop!!The most knowledgeable instructors Donnie, Shellie, Curtis, Bruce, Regina they were extremely patient and accommodating to every student and every level of scuba skills.They took the time to explain and work through every skill even if it had to be repeated  multiple times.Scuba is a life support sport!!! It should not be taken lightly!!!If you really want to learn how to dive and you want to do it right. THIS IS THE SHOP FOR YOU!!AND THESE ARE THE RIGHT PEOPLE!!They would not cut corners just to pass you through. They will take their time to teach you proper skills that would make you independent and successful diver.We LOVE this shop!!

Recently obtained my Open Water Diving certification with Sin City Scuba and my experience from signing up to my final dive was fantastic. The owners and instructors are all professional, knowledgeable, and friendly (and tons of fun). Couldn’t recommend this shop more for gear, instruction, and dive trips.

I got my open water and advanced certifications with Sin City Scuba. They were very knowledgeable and worked with my tricky schedule. I will be going back for additional training.

If you’re looking to get scuba certified or buy some scuba equipment definitely check this place out. I got scuba certified here a couple years ago. Curtis and Shelly are super friendly. My scuba instructor was Bruce. They offer a huge variety of courses to take that should fit your needs here. The experience alone was worth the price you pay.

I had to get some extra exposure protection for diving in Lake Mead and swung by the shop since they were open and on the way back to the hotel. I didnt catch the shop keepers name, but he helped me with the choices and I settled on a hooded vest on his recommendation. It was perfect and kept me warm on todays Lake Mead dives (56 F). His point about the hooded vest preventing water going down my neck and cooling my torso was spot on. Thanks!

Finished my Rescue Diver Certification. With being a current doctor and past EMT/ERT, I have had extensive training in Basic Life Support and emergency medicine. This course offered an outstanding review of skills I have not learned in many years while making it relevant to current emergency situations on and under the water. I would definitely recommend this course to all divers and future divers.

Some scuba shops will give you an UNBELIEVABLE price that‘s a la carte and still only provide you MEH training. Fun fact: scuba actually does have common standards that all shops SHOULD follow. Sin City Scuba follows those standards EVERY class.When Sin City Scuba sees a student struggle it’s a team effort to make certain they are calm, confident, and successful in their own good time. These guys are the real deal.

Sin City has a few good instructors but the owners are the rudest people I have met I would not recommend anybody to go there unless you want to be another number on their checklist.

Moving to Las Vegas with my scuba gear ten years ago, I found it very difficult to find a Las Vegas dive shop that made me feel welcome. One would think that the people hosting (and helping people learn the sport of diving) this amazing infectious sport would reflect the excitement and possibilities that diving offers. After ten years of disappointment, I finally found the shop that provides the welcoming atmosphere for like-minded people! Curtis and Shellie are knowledable, upbeat, friendly, and professional. I cant recommend this shop enough!

Shell and Curtis treat their customers like longtime friends. I never feel out of place, and their recommendations are always spot on. I most recently went with my boyfriend to Hawaii and they were able to refer a shop and dive sites as well as get my boyfriend’s customized rig ready before our trip.Additionally, if you do dive trips with the Sin City Scuba crew, they take care of EVERYTHING. While all trips have been on point, there was one to Roatan where the airline canceled that flight. Shell and Curtis rallied for the whole group and after hours of sleepless negotiations with various airlines, they got us back on track.

Best in Las Vegas. Shellie and Curtis share and nurture their passion for diving and the aquatic environment. My wife and I take every trip we can with them and continue to expand our diving education with them.

FANTASTIC shop and even better people, Curtis and Shelly are the best. It does not end with the class they have been there to answer any questions or concerns I have had long after the classes or dives have ended. You will not regret spending time with this shop learning or just diving for fun. I’ve checked out several dive shops SOOOOO happy I hooked up with Sin City Scuba they are very professional and make it safe and fun.

Great customer service. Curtis was genuinely friendly and professional. They had the best selection of gear for sale that Ive seen in Vegas since Sports Chalet closed.

Recently got my HP Steel tank refilled. Excellent experience. It was filled to the top of the legal limit. Last time my tank was filled by another shop in town it was 450 pounds low. I will definitely be going back to Sin City Scuba.

Nice little scuba shop. Seems to specialize in Scubapro brand for most things. The prices are decent, and the staff is friendly.

Without exception, this is the best dive shop Ive ever used. There are bigger but none with the level of customer service these guys being to the game. No pressure or judging... just good prices and great advice.

They are passionate about diving, having fun and doing it safely.

Worst shop in town. Not only do they lack customer service skills, they arent very good at teaching or keeping their students safe. My last training dive with them, I vomited under water and the instructor, Donnie, lost me. I went through this alone. When the instructor finally realized I was not with the group, he was mad. He wouldnt even give me a minute to collect myself. When I couldnt achieve the task, I was not given a second chance until he finished the dive with the other students. Then he was mad he had to do another dive. Shellie has the worst attitute and couldnt care less about anything but money. Curtis pretends hes a nice person but will turn on you for standing up for yourself. If you want to learn how to dive, dont do it here. An instructor should be able to answer all of ur questions and concerns. If it dosent feel right, it isnt. This can be a very dangerous sport if you dont feel comfortable with ur instructor, find another one. Stay safe out the my dive family.
