The people behind the counter were absolutely hilarious. Very friendly and willing to help. I have felt intimidated because I’m very new to the firearm scene and have received all different vibes from different stores. I can’t wait for them to get more ammo in stock because I want them to have my business. They also have a bearded dragon!

My friend had a doozy of an issue and was recommended Wild West by the guys at Precision (also nice people). The guys at Wild West were super nice, professional, and QUICK with it. Unfortunately this industry has a bad wrap with store owners being snobby (bass pro is a good example of that) but Wild West doesnt have that issue, dont be nervous or feel bad if youre not an expert, these guys are cool. 10 stars for real.

Excellent experience, HONEST PEOPLE!Staff was very friendly and helpful during my visit. I purchased a number of items only to find a mistake they made when charging me. I discovered this error 3 days later when I was back home from out of town. Absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Do not go here unless you want your firearm damaged. I took my Archon Type B here because another shop told me that WWG had a special sight pusher that was needed for my pistol. So I called them and asked and Troy confirmed that they did in fact have this special sight pusher to install my sights (which was later revealed to be a lie). I show up, they install the sights but for some reason, their gunsmith just couldnt actually do his job and install them straight. Its like he didnt even care. The front sight was canted to the side and the rear was not centered. Amateur hour times 10. It took him 3 trys to install the sights correctly. I fire 200 rounds at the range and my rear sights start walking out of the dovetail, sliding to one side and making my carry gun an inaccurate paper weight. I go back and explain the situation and talk to Troy in detail about what was happening and he says come back in and they will center the sights and we can go over the who, what, where, why on what the options are. I go back, hand over my pistol and specifically, verbally tell Troy that I just want them to center my rear sight, thats it nothing else. Then we can discuss why the sight is moving when fired. Within 5 minutes, the most incompetent gunsmith on the planet decided to go against my wishes and without my knowledge or permission, went ahead and peened my rear sight, damaging my slide in the process. He literally took a chip of metal out of the top of the limited edition FDE slide on my $950 Type B, it looks like he just hit it with a hammer. When I confronted him about it he simply said oh well and walked away from me into the back of the shop where he hid from all responsibly. No warnings, no liability forms about possible damage to my pistol, nothing. We take photos and fill out a damaged property statement which I still have plus receipts. They all said that the owner Jeremy West would make it right. Said he would call me. He never did so I called him and told him what happened. He defended his lying and rude employees and gave me a bunch of excuses. He told me to call back in a few days. I called Archon to see if they could get me a new FDE slide with a matching SN, paid for my Jeremy West. They said yes so I call Jeremy West and he says he will order me a new slide. 30 days later I call and he gives me the excuse of being too busy to call them..a whole month and he didnt lift a finger. Finally another employee, Charlie, calls Archon and supposedly orders my slide that day. She said 3 weeks. 3 weeks later I call asking for an update and Charlie, very impatiently and rudely tells me that she doesnt have time to deal with me right now and hangs up on me as Im talking. I wait a week hoping to get a call back, never did. I call and talk to the owner again Jeremy West. He again gives me a long list of excuses, refuses to give me an update, refuses to call Archon to check on my slide he claims was ordered, doesnt have an order number for me to check on my own, his response to every question I have is I dont know, tells me that he honestly doesnt even care about the whole situation and told me to stop calling, thats not an exaggeration either, he literally said that word for word. Also said that hes sorry its such a burden on my life and its not a big deal. Told me that when the slide comes in, he will call me immediately. Well its been 3 months and they wont reply to my emails and when I call, nobody has a clue on whats going on. Jeremy West and his employees are the definition of horrible customer service and Im surprised they are still in business. I do not believe my slide was ever ordered and Ive been lead on and lied to for 3 months. Stay away from this place. Theres other horrible reviews of this place too that I wish I read first. My sights are still sliding around after a few mags so them peening them in place did absolutely nothing except damage the slide, all without my consent. Id give zero stars if I could.

I cannot thank the awesome staff enough at Wild West Guns for always being there for our community when the 2 amendment is needed. The staff is always willing to help point me in the right direction of what will work and what will be needed to complete each project I am working on. Wild West Guns has always been there for me whether its for a simple FFL transfer, suppressor, scope, ammo, a Glock or a full on custom pistol or custom rifle build. I was fortunate enough to get one of the JWC 2011 pistols for competition matches and it is a true race gun and a work horse of a pistol. I recommend Wild West Guns to anyone looking for anything firearms related whether you are a complete beginner or seasoned pro.

I recently went into this gun store to purchase some ammo and magazines. Now Im not an expert by any means, but do have some familiarity with guns and accessories. I walked in and there were two employees talking with other customers. I patiently waited, and when the next employee was available, I approached the counter to explain what I needed. I even showed the employee a list of specific items I was looking for. The employee seemed very dismissive and just told me to look at the back wall for magazines, and seemed too bothered to talk any more. I only wanted to be sure I got the correct magazines, and it would have only taken 30 seconds for the employee to help me. I found some of what I was looking for, and was about to buy it, but then decided not to and walked out. I support the 2nd Amendment, but cannot support the lack of customer service or care for (potential) customers. With everything going on these days, I would have thought every business would do anything to help customers and increase sales. I guess this place doesnt need new customers and is doing just fine in this economy.

Id give zero stars if I could. Just noticed the bad reviews and thought Id add my own. This place its typical of a successful business thats forgotten what got them there. So many excuses from the owners son or son-in-law, Jeremy.I dropped off my 357 Colt back in August 2016 that needed work. The finish was a 9 but the hand and site were broken. I finally got it back end of March 2017 eight months later! I wont go into all the excuses they gave me but I felt more than once I was put on the back burner for more important projects and then hunting season. After four months and I guess too many calls to see where my gun was, Jeremy threatened to just put it back together so I could pick it up. I should have. When I finally got the gun back and looked it over I was disgusted. I gave them a mirror finish Colt with minor scratches on the barrel end. they gave me back a gun with a nice scratch on the lock screw that ran into the place a good 1/4 and a handle that wasnt put back correctly. No, I havent called them back. Im just gonna live with it and move on. Very disappointed. They came highly recommended from a Colt enthusiast. Not his fault. Lesson learned? Having a reality show in Alaska does not guarantee you an ethical or reputable gunsmith.Sometimes you need to burn a bridge that leads to nowhere or worse, Hell.

Worst experience ever. I brought in a gun. They could not fix it. They sent it to the manufacturer. When it came back, they acted like it was a problem to show me it was fixed, moreover, it was missing a magazine. They blamed the manufacturer. Upon careful examination I could see the manufacturer replaced the bolt, but still wanted my magazine replaced before I would pay the bill. Received a call about a month later stating my magazine was replaced. Went down to pick up my gun with a brand new magazine only to find the brand new bolt that the manufacturer had provided had been switched with an older, worn bolt. I WAS DONE!! Horrible service. I dropped off my brand new pistol to Wild West Guns early Monday morning to have some new sights installed. Their shop was recommended to me by Freedom Firearms in Las Vegas when I purchased my pistol and sights. By Friday afternoon I had not heard from the store, so I dropped in to check the status. I was told that the gunsmith had started the installation, but was off work all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The store said the gunsmith would probably have my new sights installed some time the following week. I asked for my pistol back and I would take it to another shop for the installation. Wild West Guns returned my brand new sights and they were damaged! It appears that the rear sight was hit with a hammer a few times on the right side. Moreover, my brand new pistol had a couple dings in the finish of the slide. I took my pistol and sights to a different shop and the performed the installation in an hour.

A nightmare! Took a brand-new varmint rifle straight out of the box to Wild West Guns for pillar and glass bedding. The condition upon completion was heartbreaking. The walnut stock was seriously dented in 3 places and the forearm was scratched from slipping in a vise. The barrel bluing was gouged down to bare metal in one spot and wasn’t centered in the barrel channel. The bedding job was amateurish at best. I could indent the bedding material with my thumbnail, it looked like plumbers putty with no coloring to match the stock color, and the pillars were only pressed into the bedding material because the wood stock had been chiseled or drilled out where the action screws went though.Complained to Operations Manager Jeremy who said they were going to make it right and put a rush on it. 4 months later, I called and was told ‘ready for pick up’. When I asked why no one called to tell me, I was told ‘the gunsmith had an accident’.Condition of the rifle now….. very obvious spot repair on the stock, same bungled bedding with what looks like paint on the putty. Wild West turned my new rifle into a piece of trash I’ll be lucky to get a $100 for in a junk shop. Extremely dissatisfied!

I bought a hard-to-find Seecamp .380 from them over a year ago and i think i got a pretty good deal on it - if my memory serves me correctly it was priced about $80 or so below msrp. I think they were just trying to move it because they said it had been sitting there in the display case for quite awhile - but then again, the Seecamp’s are very pricey so I can see why. But the two times that I was there for a couple of hours each, they hardly had any customers at all so that may be another reason... and curiously over-staffed. Plus the selection was not the greatest and the location is hard to find & get to, its pretty tucked away in a back-corner of an industrial area. Big kudos to WWG though for having the only Seecamp in town because believe me, I called just about every gun shop in Las Vegas/Henderson and no one carried it - however I was also looking for a Chiappa Rhino and nobody had that one either... oh well, haha. And the sales guy that helped me was very friendly and professional. Overall, I would highly recommend this shop. I’m deducting 1 star only for lack of handgun selection. I plan on stopping in today and hopefully they have stepped up their game in that area!

I wish I wouldve read the reviews before taking my firearm there. Let me first say that the customer service here is awesome, unfortunately I wouldve rather had poor customer service and an awesome job done on my rifle. I took my AR-15 to have the muzzle brake removed and a shroud put on... thats it! I was only charged $20 which I thought was a steal and the service took about five minutes. When I got home the first thing to happen was the shroud fell off, then I noticed my barrel was significantly angled, which it wasnt before. I went back with my girlfriend(to look at firearms) and the gentleman said bring it in and theyll take a look at it. Before I took it I stopped by a local range only to find out the severity of the issues. Long story short I ended up with a bent barrel, broken gas tube(I think) and stripped Allen screws. People want to put money in their firearms for upgrades not repairs, especially for repairs that were done by someone elses negligence! Whats really unfortunate is it is one of those places where you want to become a loyal customer even if theyre a couple of bucks higher than the competition... and theyre dog friendly too! The selection of firearms for purchase is little to no variety and the location is cool as long as you have gps or Google maps. I wanted to give it 1 star but their customer service earned an extra star from me. Ill continue to take my firearms to Range 702 for any further work or cleaning.

But that gentlemans customer service aside, this is a pretty crappy policy..I sincerely doubt the shop ever had ANY of the mags at all, it was most probably just a lie to get customers in their store. As such we didnt purchase anything there - just on principal. Instead we went over to a competitor, Freedom Firearms instead & ended up spending quite a bit of cash there too!I would hope that this was just an error and not the norm at Wild West Guns.. Bad experience today at Wild West Guns. I came to this shop based on the good recommendation of another gun store where I usually get ammo and accessories. I brought in the slide of my brand new Kahr PM9 for a front night sight installation. I purchased the Trijicon night sight direct from Kahr. When I came back to pick up the slide, I was told by the front counter person that my sight came crooked from the factory. I was told the gunsmith who installed the sight was Jeremy West but he was out of the store at that moment. Jeremy BUTCHERED the sight! Punch marks on each side of the sight base and hammer mark/dent on top of the sight. The tritium tube became out of round. He obviously forced the installation. The charge for his labor, $50. Jeremy called me later to tell me the metal used on the sight was too soft! I asked if he noted the brand of the sight I brought in. He didnt even know it was a Trijicon. He said it might say Trijicon but that doesnt mean it came from Trijicon. What aggravated me was being told the slide was ready to be picked up, as if everything was OK but was not. And then being told I brought in a defective sight thats why it came out crooked. What a bunch of crap from this people. The original sight was returned broken in two pieces. Jeremy offered to replace the sight if I bring back the slide. He wont even admit he mucked up the installation. I showed the result of his work to the gun store that recommended his service. They apologized. I know it was not their fault Jeremy did a horrible job but at least they now know the quality of the work done. Luckily I took pictures of the slide before I brought it in. So I have proof of this bad outcome. BEWARE!
