I spent several days looking for a better car. After losing on line and going to different places. I decided on a little used Mazda 3 from the Kia dealership in Laurel.The people were friendly but not pushy. They worked to help me get the car and even took off the $900 fee for detailing to help lower the price and gave me a $1200 trad in on my old car.
Gerald was incredibly helpful and kind. I was very pleased with my experience, he went above and beyond for my service visit. I am so thankful! I will definitely be back and always refer friends and family to this location!
The dealership scratched the hood(right where you open it) and then tried to cover it and deny any wrong doing. I washed it after picking up and the paint they used to cover it up came right off. They denied anything. They were problems from walking in the door; trying to upset me on what shouldve been a reasonably priced service charge. They also stated that they couldnt conduct a fuel test on a hybrid plug in,, but another dealership was happily able to conduct the same test.. They said everything was fine with the vehicle and I was in the shop three weeks later replacing spark plugs after observing ammonia smelling excessive exhaust. Lackadaisical, nonchalant, and carefree about the services offered AND about the incident when addressed. DO NOT take your car here. They WILL rip you off. They WILL NOT really check your car. They WILL NOT car if something is wrong. They WILL NOT take responsibility for, or lack of, their actions! Im happy the vehicle is under warranty and, since then, I was able to find a reputable, dependable, and honest Kia dealership.
Let me start off by saying my sales rep Darrel was great. He was responsive, followed-up with updates and just a easy sales person to work with, even though I didnt end up buying a car at Laurel.My issue is with the management team. Three red flags:1. I tried reaching out to the sales manager multiple over the phone and every time the operator forwarded my calls to Darrel (even though he was great, I needed to speak to the sales manager). Which leads me to believe thats the instruction given by the manager(s).2. I emailed the manager from the website twice and never received a response, which is crazy considering I was trying to BUY a CAR!.3. They have false advertising online. They posted their Sorento as the best price option online and when I followed-up, the price was 4K higher and I couldnt get a hold of the manager to discuss more.I would stay away from this dealership and shop somewhere else!
They went above and beyond taking care of me and my car, letting me know of everything that was wrong and being honest of what was highly needed and not. Having Sean as my rep made everything seamless. He was very professional and I enjoyed working with him. The mechanics are very professional and nice as well. They even provided a courtesy vacuum. Overall not what I was expecting from a body shop. This is now my go-to for work on my car.
Was a very loyal customer (purchased multiple vehicles over the years but they have went downhill fast. Got rid of the finance manager that kept leaving off warranties now the service department sucks. Brought car up there for a known issue and they said it wasn’t an issue. Part malfunctioned again and called to get it in ASAP and they acted as if they couldn’t be bothered. Now they don’t answer the phone at all.
I have been in the automotive business for 25 years and have to say I am truly impressed with my recent car purchase. It was quick everything handled efficiently and very professional. Jay Ortiz was my salesperson. Jay is very patient and very helpful. He knows the product very well. He was already off of work and came back to deliver my car to me which I appreciate. I highly recommend him if you are in the market for a new vehicle. I also have to say hats off to Kia the new lineup is off the hook..Go check them out!!
Had a car towed to dealer Sunday because broke down and they was dealer closer to me. Service advisor called and started with a attitude because had car towed there, said attitude was because he was so busy and had so much to do this morning. Said it was going to be 5 weeks before would even look at it and I understand they are busy but nothing but attitude - rude and pretty much told me to just take car away from them. Said your key will be on dash I can just come get it. REALLY. I WOULD STRONGLY RECCOMEND TO GO ANY WHERE BUT THERE.
Echo what has been said by others. 10 years ago, used to be good. Now i wouldnt have them service my lawn mower. Terrible with scheduling, incompetent, rude, just plain bad. DONT USE THEM!
Absolutely horrible service management. I have an ongoing issue with a vehicle that has been in the shop 3 times for the same issue. I called to set an appointment because the check engine light has came back on for the fourth time but could not get anyone on the phone. I left a message for sales to relay to the service manager to return my phone call. The service manager, Jeremy, called me back and refused to set an appointment to look at my vehicle. He indicated he has too many cars with problems to take on another one and take it back to where you bought it. When I requested the general managers information he was extremely argumentative and refused to give me contact information. I ended up with the contact information and will follow up with Alex to discuss this issue. I have filed a formal complaint with Kia Corporate. I would suggest not purchasing a vehicle from KIA because you can not count on any service department to honor your warranty.I followed up with Alex and left a voicemail for him to return my call.. he never did. The owner then responded to my review and addressed me as “Christine”… poor attention to detail all around.

My experience with Kia Laurel has been horrible. I purchased a new 2020 car in September. In June 2021 the engine went out. The car has less than 10k miles. I had the car towed to Kia so they could work on it. 7 days later no word on my car. No loaner, not even a call to tell me what’s wrong with my car. I will NEVER purchase another Kia, or purchase from Kia Laurel. My family has been without a car for a week, and no one from the dealership can give me a answer.
I stopped by three weeks in a row and spoke to three different salesman and all of them ignored my request. Not a single one ever contacted me when the vehicle was in stock. After waiting 3 weeks they finally called me and told me they had one in stock. When I arrived they could not find the keys to let me see the vehicle. It was clear to me they did not want my business. Very poor customer service!
Worst customer service in their service department. I will NEVER take my car there again. I’ve been calling for 3 days only to get voicemail which states their hours, which is when I’m calling and also states someone will call me back tomorrow which hasn’t happened yet. Horrible service. Just want to know what’s going on with my car. Ugg

My wife just had they must rudest Encounter with the service manager at the lauerl at your Kia dealership she is there getting a recall done from her warranty on her Kia car for oxygen sensor and he’s yelling at her screaming at her till about she she’s not getting her car it’s a warranty department give him payment and she’s talking about she’s being very rude to my wife that’s not nothing to do with her to recall is from Kia not from her this service manager needs to be fired immediately. I’m not sure if he’s having a bad day or the service dept is busy but he needs to not understand how to hold his composure better to customers.
Meh They tried to charge freight and dealer prep fees, which is not something that should be charged to the customer. Not to mention, the brand new car I wanted to test drive wouldnt even start. Talk about red flags. I ended up walking because they were not willing to negotiate on fees I knew shouldnt be charged to the customer but its in fact factored in the MSR price. Sales rep was cool, but if they were willing they would have made a sale. I can get my car elsewhere. No worries at all.
Don’t buy the Volvo C30, I took it to a Volvo dealer for a pre-purchase inspection and it needs $1400 in repairs and they won’t lower the price. The Salesman Jay Ortiz was super helpful and I truly appreciate his time. However, the sales manager is a grumpy boy, be prepared.
I can not speak higher of this dealer, they had every chance to rip me off due to my circumstances and they still honored thier word and went the extra mile for me. From my conversation with Jay, the sales manager and the finance desk; I knew I was speaking with people who treated me respectful and didnt look at me as a commission number. Everything was clearly explained and numbers broken down further to explain what was going on.Dont judge a book by its cover, Ive been to the fancy dealerships; they take advantage of you, treat you like you are below them and rip you off at every chance they get.
When I went there to buy my car everyone was bending over backwards to get the sale through. I was pleased with the service I received until I discovered that they charged me a fee that wasnt supposed to be charged. I then discovered a problem with my car and emailed my sells rep, Eugene. I waited 3-4 days with no reply, so I decided to call about my problem. He was very aloft towards me. He acted like it was my problem to deal with, even though the car is still under warranty.I wasnt happy about the 1000 miles warranty, since most dealers give you 12000 but I really liked the car.Im now sorry that I went to this dealership especially since I wasnt in the market for any brand of car. I wont go back to them. If you cant at least to pretend your customers after the sale then why bother in the first place. This is the first time I didnt receive a follow-up call after purchasing.

I didnt go in there expecting to buy the car, but he was ready and willing and answered all the questions we have. Don’t recommend this dealership it’s full of shady car salesmen who try to get the most money out of customers. Went in to look at a car under 10K, even with down payment they wanted to charge me 20% interest rate. I walked away not getting the car I wanted.
Service check in person is rather abrupt and very unfriendly. Waiting room very dirty. When trying to schedule service recently I had to finally leave message with details if my request with a promise that my call would be returned in 24 hours. It was returned several days later. Thankfully I found a brand new Kia dealership (Koons) located in Owings Mills. I won’t return to Laurel.
If youre going to come to this dealership, talk with Pierce York. He was super helpful, understanding of my situation, and all around a great person. I walked in, test drove the car, talked about all of the details, and I was out under an hour and a half. I would say thats pretty good for a dealership visit. My overall experience was 10/10 and I would recommend my colleagues to him any day of the week.
Great selection of new and used cars.AVOID working with Pierce, the guy clearly doesn’t care about the customer and unfortunately he got all the commission on our van even though Mike did all the work. We have been waiting more than three weeks for a part and have yet to hear anything from Pierce. This guy does not deserve your money, especially when the rest of sales team are extremely polite, thorough and helpful. If you do end up working with Pierce be prepared to argue with him and follow up on your parts and service as he will NOT make anything easy for you.

Service department has no loaner cars, courtesy pickup or drop-off service. Cost for service is extremely high.Have a certified kia k900 and the cost for a 30,000 mile checkup cost just short of $500.Changing the oil is the only thing actually being done, site checks about 10 other things.Take your car somewhere else...

Had a great experience buying my new 2020 Kia Stinger from Eugene Kim at Laurel Kia. Process was easy, he was responsive during the initial car search, and happy with the final deal. A few days after purchasing the car, without driving more than a few miles, I noticed a small scrape on the front lip. Called them up right away and Laurel Kia is taking care of this for me and even providing a loaner while it is in their body shop. Very satisfied with the service here and will definitely be coming back. Love my new car!

Service department is completely uninterested in servicing warranties. Basically told me to pound sand, they didnt have any appointments available for the next month and didnt offer loaner vehicles.

Bought a used Honda Accord few months ago. Wanted to wait on a few things before writing my review. My sales person Eugen was exceptional. He took care of the business questions with professionalism not often found by used car salesman. He didnt push or force sales. instead letting the buyer feel comfortable. The service department is always above standard. Never late and call if they are running behind. Loaners are also available but limited. Overall excellent sales/service experience. Def would buy from again. And will.
I called about a truck they had and they said it was available, I told them I would be there the next day to look at it. I drove 2 hours to show up and they say we sold that truck a week ago. I asked for Jay, the person that said it was available and I’m told oh he’s off today. Liars and scammers.
I had a very positive experience at Kia Laurel this past week (8/31/20). I had a 2018 Kia Sorento LX V6 AWD that was much more car than I really needed now that the kids are grown. My wife drives a 2016 Kia Soul which was mine at one time and I loved it when it was mine to drive. So I did a little internet shopping and found a sweet 2021 Soul X-line at Laurel Kia. I let them know of my interest and what it would take to make the deal. Salesman Pierce Bentley York got right back to me (on a Sunday) and told me to come in Monday for a great deal.Im not one who likes to negotiate too much but I knew what I wanted in trade and I knew what I had in cash to spend. Pierce gave me a great price for trade in and with $1000 rebate on the new carwe had a deal, just like that.I highly recommend dealing with Kia Laurel and Pierce Bentley York. Hes a fine young with a great knowledge of his product and hes willing to work with you to get you in a new Kia.
Just avoid this place and drive a little further to Hersons Kia in Rockville. We took our Soul here after it went into limp mode on the interstate and were told it would cost $140 to VERBALLY TELL US whether it would be covered under warranty. No work, no inspection, $140 for a simple yes or no. Then, they told us their service department was booked completely solid for the next 6 weeks. Yeah, OK...Added a star because they were amenable while we clogged up their parking lot having our car towed to another nearby dealer.

Mr. Pierce York at the Kia of Laurel helped me with the purchase of my brand new 2020 Kia Rio. This dealer is great place to buy a car. I bought my 2014 Kia Soul and now my 2020 Kia Soul from them and both times they werent pushy salesman and have given me the best price in the area. My experience with Pierce was exceptional. He dealt with all of my wishes and managed to singlehandedly get my specific car I wanted from another location and turnaround sale in less than 24 hours. His communication was top notch. He deserves a raise/promotion for what I put him through and for how great of a car buying experience he gave me.
I bought a used car from this dealership. The wait time was very long despite them expecting me. They charge a $1k refinishing fee, which is usually free at most other places. They also told me they would get me an extra key for the car, as they only had one key for it. They ghosted me after I bought the car, never coming through with their promise of getting me another key. They didnt answer emails I sent them asking about it. Should have put it in a contract. I would steer clear of this place, for sure!

This is the closest kia dealership I have to me. I never have issues going here. They are always friendly even when busy. They dont try and sell you extra shot. Just tell you what you need right then and what should be done next time or soon as you can. Parts guys arent always able to hear you if no one is upfront. Other then that I will go there anytime I need parts or work I dont feel like doing.

HORRIBLE. STAY AWAY!!!! I purchased a used truck in good faith in January and hardly drove it til Spring. First oil change, my mechanic said underbody coated with a Linex material to disguise rust. All lines rusted. Within a week, the power steering line busted. Towed it to different mechanic and that mechanic said brake rotors and pads worn down and never would have made it through any inspection. A couple of weeks later, the brake line busted. I tried to work in good faith with Laurel Kia but the owner did not respond to my requests. I can not recommend this dealer bc they a.) disguised a problem b.) didnt inspect the truck properly. WARNING TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY DID NOTHING AT ALL TO MAKE THIS RIGHT FOR ME.

The first contact I had with Pierce York was when I did an online application to purchase a 2020 Soul. He asked what I wanted, color, etc. He emailed me with the price I would pay per month and options I could also purchase--GAP and care packages. When I arrived to pick up my new car, I literally signed my documents and drove away. Not only was this the easiest car buying experience Ive had, there was never any pressure. Sad to say, 2 months after I bought the car, it was totaled in an accident. Just yesterday, 2/18, Pierce came through again. He helped with my GAP Insurance claim and provided a no hassle, easy buy for my 2020 Sorento. You are AWESOME Pierce!! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
Not an easy place to get into depending on which direction you are coming from and the service area seems small. However they are very professional and took to my needs with my Kia Soul which I purchased used at a different dealership. Thankfully it was still under factory warranty and they fixed the problem and it has been running great since!

Recently bought a Kia Forte using Consumer Reports/Truecar. Price from Laurel Kia was competitive and compared favorably with other dealers, and the requested out-the-door price was broken down and explained clearly. Efforts to negotiate down from that price were futile, so the price was the price. Salesman was Pierce York, who was very professional and accommodating. He answered all of our questions. When we requested a brief purchase transaction because of COVID concerns he had the car ready and the papers ready to sign when we arrived. There was no upsell or attempt to mislead. Overall a very pleasant car-buying experience, definitely recommend.

It was an overall positive experience. I was impressed by the customer service and the patience the salesman had shown. I was pretty indecisive and took a while looking at each car, but my guy let me see each one and he had a good amount of knowledge on all the cars we talked about. How do you give a negative star? Called them to see if we can bring our vehicle in for a recall after explaining we were a military family posted to MD for the next few years, and we had all the paperwork and email from Kia asking them to call if there were any issues. Answer we got from the person on the other end was Why dont you take it back to Canada?. Thats your solution? If I could drive 10 hours to take it back I wouldnt be calling you. Thank you so much for your concern!
We visited Kia laurel just for a look at the new Telluride and Pierce greeted us to see if we had any questions. He was informative and brought some of the key features to light, that we wouldn’t have known to ask! The car was great, and the service better.....thank you Pierce.
