I originally went to carmax where I was ignored..I called drivetime fr there..based on a conversation over the phone with Kinea I said im coming there. She was professional and pleasant EVERYTIME ..in person..over the phone..from beginning to end of the transaction. The car I wanted had just gotten in..I explained I have only 2 days to buy a car so I wouldnt miss work. She dropped the car off herself to get it inspected asap so I could buy it. I just got a 2018 White Ford Focus in March 2021. Now the engine is completely gone and it has oil pump failure. I tried to go there with my mom to have it resolved but no luck. My car stalled out completely right outside of the dealership and I had to pay $131.50 for the tow truck 😡 I don’t recommend going here at all.Only, positive thing about DriveTime in Laurel, MD is Mr. Kester LewisPlease read reviews before going to get a vehicle from here.

I purchased a car three years ago from them it was a 2014 that I purchased in 2017. The engine went up on the car before I finish paying for it (less then 3 years). So I needed a new car and since I paid the first car off early I figured I would go back to them because I knew that my credit was good there. I was sold a car that no one had ever looked at. I bought it for my son‘s 16th birthday so that he could have it through college but within 90 days I had to replace tires, Get a new battery, an oil change, a complete tuneup and new lightbulbs. The vehicle was given to me dirty, with soiled seats and carpets. I bought it at night so I couldn’t see all of that. Within the first 30 days four lights came on in the dash to tell me that something was wrong with the car. When I called back the sales lady said that the car had just come in and they hadn’t had a chance to look at it. Why would you sell a car that you didn’t have a chance to look at. But they won’t help me I’m stuck with this car and I will have to get my son a new car because this one will never last through college. Did I mention his car is a 2017 either only 36,000 miles and I brought it in 2020. I will never ever trust them again.

Im writing this review to give drive time in Laurel the amount of praise thats necessary they are phenomenal in the customer service orientation gentleman I doubt with Anthony and caster were phenomenal fonts of information and I just really appreciate the business you have a nice car I would check these guys out

I’m back again. My 20 year old son saved up and traded in a vehicle to purchase a used “new to him” vehicle from Drive time Laurel, in February 2020. And he purchased a warranty for an extra $2200...Fast forward... one month later the world shut down, he literally drove his car 1500 miles before the check engine light came. It took til July for him to get his car looked at thru his warranty. Talk abt being given a run around abt $2700 worth of work needed to be done.. the Ford dealer recommended a new engine, of course the warranty company approved only the needed components... kept his car for 23 days, and it was like pulling teeth for them to give him a rental. Now here we are February 2021... Car taken back to the same dealership and needs over $4000 in repairs rack and pinion, worn outer tire rods alignments .... warranty won’t pay. All this on a vehicle he has only had for a year, only 5000 miles later. For all this he could’ve kept his car he had and saved himself $1500 down payment and $550 a month which has NEVER been late and paid On time!! Don’t buy from DRIVE TIME

I purchased my car almost 3 weeks ago .My experience was horrible my sales person didn’t really go over my paperwork with me just wanted to put me in a car sold me a car with gorilla glue holding the arm rest together that they are not trying to fix . never knew I was going to have biweekly payments until I asked kinea and stated to her he never told me .. also my salesperson never told me I would never get hard tags from here they just want to sell cars don’t go here if you have to wait to get a car from somewhere else pls do so..

My experience with DriveTime was nothing short of amazing. Everyone here is extremely friendly and helpful. The sales associate, Edward, not only was patient in helping me find what was right for me financially but also gave me advice on what to do with my current car. Customer service was incredible and I definitely recommend this particular location (Laurel) to anyone looking for a car.

If I could give them less than 1 star, I would. My son bought a car in August 2020. They were more than happy to sell him the car. However, it is now Jan. 2021 and we still have no title! We have tried repeatedly to talk with them and no response. We finally contacted the MVA. They have been unresponsive even to the investigator from the MVA! Do not buy a car from this dealership!Part 2 The response to my review from the dealership was to call the customer service number. I did call both the dealership and the customer service number many, many times before going to the MVA. It seems they provided as little help to me as they did to the MVA investigator! Your customer service has proven to be rude and ineffective.Your response is useless and ineffective as well!I repeat.... Do not buy a car from this dealership!

Initially drivetime laurel seemed great! I had a wonderful agent and buying my car seemed fast and easy... maybe too good to be true.Unfortunately that was the last easy thing from drive time. They have yet to send me the title to MY car after almost 6 months. I am riding around in MY car on expired tags for 6 months because drive time is holding my title hostage for no reason. They have yet to give a solid answer as to what is the reason. I have dealt with customer service numerous times to no success. Excuse after excuse. I even filed with the MVA only to discover that I am not alone.They have refused to talk to the MVA because they know what they are doing is WRONG. Even the investigator is having no luck getting through to them. Originally they said that they never paid the taxes on my car, even though I paid every fee at purchase. Then they said that there was an error on the paperwork for mileage even though I confirmed every inch of the paper work with my sales agent at the time of purchase. Now that they MVA is involved their excuses are endless.I could understand a backup due to covid of maybe a month or two but 6 months with no solid reasoning and no communication whatsoever is just ridiculous.The moral of the story is they seem great at face value but DO NOT PURCHASE a car here, they are just shy of a scam.

I tried to purchase my second vehicle from them and I got a financing rate that was more then double what a had on the first vehicle . What a rip off ! I will be calling Bridgecrest (financing Dept ) today and if something doesn’t get worked out this vehicle will be right back in there lot .
