Ashley & William were top notch. Prompt, professional and informative. Appreciate them both.
I just purchased a 2021 GMC Sierra from Legacy Buick GMC in Laurel. The entire Legacy team went above and beyond in meeting my expectations. Ashley Elmer and Stacey were both phenomenal to work with and I will absolutely purchase my next vehicle from them.I also purchased some accessories from Davey in parts. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and made sure I had everything I needed on-time.Thank you again for such a great experience!
I would highly recommend this dealership! They were very friendly and helpful. It has the professionalism of a large dealership with the friendliness of a small town.🙂
The visit was prompt and my truck has been running Great
Great dealership, friendly people that greet you at the door. Thanks to Ashley for going above and beyond to get the truck I wanted. They did exactly what I asked for and with a 1000 down I had a new GMC 1500 AT4 in less than a week and cheaper than any other dealer in the area. Thanks again for your fast service and dedication to customers.
Highly recommend using another dealer. Tried to purchase a truck in transit over the phone from John. Paperwork was drawn up and texted to me. Agreed less than 30 minutes later and was told Ashley would call me for credit information. After calling that evening, I was told they were busy with a customer and would call me later. Fast forward to next morning and Ashley was busy selling the truck to someone else instead. I was told they are working multiple deals at any given time and first one to the finish line gets it. There was absolutely no remorse and instead of apologizing, the manager argued with me over email. I was told I had ample time to decide (not sure that 30 minutes qualifies that distinction, but...)When I told the manager, Clint, that Id recommend folks to go elsewhere to purchase, his reply was You do that. So, heres me doing that.FYI, I ordered the same truck from Fowler in Pearl, MS and have had much better service.
I had a very straightforward and smooth experience purchasing a new Sierra as an out-of-town buyer. We worked out the deal over the phone, and I had no issues driving in and picking up the truck in person a few days later. I would recommend this dealership.
This place has inspired me to create a google account and perform my very first google review. I think maybe I will continue to share my story using google review (you may see more reviews from me). I hope I get one of those responses that I keep seeing where right after they screw someone over, they offer their number and say we would love the chance to help you in the future. Ok here it goes... they used the destination fee that is on the sticker and included in the total to run the smoke and mirror scam. I will spare you all the numbers so here it is in short. They basically over show a “legacy discount” that is over stated by the amount of the destination charge (about $1695) for a truck. Then somewhere on your paper they added it back in. They do it this way to be able to show a cheaper internet price and get you in there. If you will notice, you probably want to go to this state of the art dealership (sarcasm) because they have the highest dealer discount (not sarcasm). Well now you know. That number is overstated by something you are already being charged for on the sticker. If you find it they will tell you it is still the best price around. Mossy of picayune is a great place to look so you can see real prices. Legacy’s discount will show bigger because they show the fee after final price. Everyone else in the world leaves the fee alone because it is listed on the sticker. Just to be clear, this has nothing to do with the document fee that is a few hundred, this is the fee on the sticker that sits really close to the final sticker price. To add further perspective it is like them saying hey we have this new truck and this is the selling price.. then they put a “legacy discount” on it for 20k and then bill you another 18k for the engine. So it is like why didn’t you just say the “legacy discount” was only 2k right? I hope this helps. That is what happened to me. Good luck.
They were very friendly, professional people when I bought my car, but after I refinanced a couple months later I ran into several issues. I called several days straight, multiple times to get a refund on my gap insurance, and kept being pushed to the back burner. The financial guy would never return my calls, then proceeded to be a smart Alec and unprofessional each time I talked to him. When I showed up to the business with the required papers in hand, he was so rude and unprofessional. I will never come back and will not recommend for anyone to shop here for vehicles. Go to someone who will value your business.
Was polite and helpful during sale. Said if we needed them for anything just give them a call. Well that didnt work!! Called several times. Was told with customer or not in. Leave # and they will call back. Still waiting!!
Got my vehicle in and out quickly. Very little wait time. Friendly staff.
John Thomson was great!1
I enjoy the friendly atmosphere! And the manner that everyone is so ready to help!
Found a vehicle online that I was going to buy for a company vehicle. Went to the dealership with intent to buy a vehicle that day. Spoke with the sales manager about the vehicle and he presented me with a price that was substantial higher than the price that was listed on several different sites. I asked him then why the starting price before fees and taxes was higher than the listed price, and he stated several different things but was not making much sense. I felt he was using a lot of jargon to attempt to confuse me which I felt was wrong but at the time I was not mad about it. I understand the current climate in auto sales with Covid so felt the need to overlook the poor marketing attempt. I decided to walk on the vehicle to shop price since it was substantially higher. I was told by a friend at my local dealership 30 miles away that he was able to make several sales a month due to the same antics. This in itself gave me the first bad image of this dealership. Several days later the manager called me and asked if I had put anymore thought into the vehicle. I in turn asked if the price was still higher or would he honor the price he was marketing it by. He proceeded to tell me that even at the higher price he was still lower than the competition and that their price was in simple terms a “marketing strategy”. I pressed his statement and he went on another jargon infused ramble and ended it by saying “a honest man doesn’t make it in business”. This immediately stunned me to say the least. I quickly told him I would think on the car and get back with him. This was my way of biting my tongue and ending the conversation. Fast forward a week and he called me back and I once again asked him if his price was still where it was and he went right back into a jargon infused rollercoaster of a speech. I was very frank with him and told him that I did not appreciate and it really stuck with me that he very openly said that “honest man doesn’t make it in business”. I then stated that I nor my company will ever buy a vehicle from him or the dealership. He replied with a simple “ok have a nice day” followed by a hanging up of the phone. What this sales manager didn’t know was: 1) I have sales experience so his jargon rants were seen as exactly what they were smoke and mirrors tactic. 2) I have a degree in business with concentration in both management and marketing, so his “marketing tactics” were seen as extremely poor business. And 3) I am a business owner and can proudly say without a shadow of a doubt that a honest man CAN make it in business. I end this by saying if spending large sums of money with someone who is openly dishonest and deceptive, then this is the dealership you need to go to. If you you are like me and value good customer service without pressure and someone who will stand behind their word, then stay away from this place. There is a GM dealer within throwing distance and several more within very reasonable distance that will gladly make a good honest deal.
I purchase a new truck every fall, this is the first time I purchased from Legacy. It was a great experience, there was no run around, everything is exactly how they said it would be. John went the extra mile and met me after work to accommodate my travel schedule. The truck was fairly priced and they gave me a fair number on my trade in. Really good guys to work with, I plan to make them first on my list when Im ready for my next purchase.
Just bought a new Denahi Truck. In and out fast great people and Ms Ashley that showed us the truck fantastic LADY that knows her trucks. Great deal, if you need a truck this is the place to go.
Not real friendly
They lied to me and ripped me off
No hassle dealership. They will treat you right and wont waste your time.
Quick service and the advisor was polite “she”
Customer service from some of the salesmen are rude and obnoxious. I called the GMC customer complaint line to complain that i was there to get maintenance insight on why my car was making sounds. Well as Im waiting only to get the run around, I try to get some assistance with something minor from salesmen and they ignore me after asking for help several times. I called to GMC customer complaint line and when GMC did investigation the dealership told them I was rude to them and acting irate, which was not true. Not my fault your cars suck. Would explain why the name has changed. I know your in business to make money but at end of day professionalism and customer service trumps your greed for sales. Anyways, every dog has their day.....
Curtis Adams was wonderful, helped me when he didnt have too!!!!
Horrible experience. The salesman was trying to come out the door and fight us. Tried to give us an extremely low value on our trade in. We drove 2 hours and wasted our time. I would never recommend anyone to this dealership on account of the safety of their lives.
Good selection. Sales staff doesnt really seem to be knowledgeable or wanna work with you on defects of vehicles.
After long searches and no good fortune. My wife and I went to Legacy Buick GMC and had amazing customer service, professionalism was top notch and product line was a double thumbs up. From the time we arrived to the time we left, it was nothing but courteousness and helpful attitudes. It really makes buying a new vehicle a lot simpler when your shown that your business is wanted as well as appreciated. We will definitely be going back here for future purchases and even maintenance services. Thanks JOHN, KAYLA, and BRIAN for everything!
Love my truck. Dont love being told water spots will wash off. Than find out over $400 to get it fixed that the clear coat was damaged. I was called back and told that paint that had been ordered for me was on its way. 3 weeks later and nothing. Just what i expected.
Found the perfect used car here, a super clean 2007 Toyota Camry with low miles, for my grandparents. Brought them in and sat down with Falon. She was wonderful to work with, very personable and was very kind. Great deal on the car, full tank of gas, and a smile on everyone face when we were done. I am coming back for my next vehicle and will definitely be sending my friends to this dealership as well. Looking forward to continuing our automotive relationship with Bob Palmers crew!
Horrible we bought a Jeep. Had a horrible oil leak, windshield wipers broke u joints broke. Went back next day. Told sold as is wouldn’t help fix anything. Sales guy lied and said he was talking to manager in back my husband went back their and no one was there he lied. Don’t ever do business there. We asked for owner all we got was sales guys. They are dirty and we will tell everyone we know. They screwed us. Horrible do not trust.
Great place. I salivated looking at all the new trucks.
They are great and do not waste your time. Brian Purdue is the man to see!!
Great experience!
Was looking to buy a car they ran my credit. They ran my credit an 8 hard hits on my credit it lowered my score over 40 points. They would not return my calls. So if you do not buy from them you will take a huge hit on your score. Thanks,Kevin Davis
Always someone in your face.
The salesmen at this dealership are the kind of con artists you would expect to find in Laurel, MS. I went in asking for a $400 payment. They said no problem. 8 hours of confusion later I left with a $800 payment. Plan and simple I can not afford $800 per month, so this car will be repod. The first thing that next morning I tried to take it back but they said tough luck. Now I understand the difference between a salesman and a conman. I was lied to on numerous issues and now they are hostile to me. I took it in because of a vibration and the salesmen told me to leave before he called the cops. Whats that? Ill never do business her again! My family will never do business here! Anyone who knows me will never do business here!
Extremely nice..not pushy
This dealership has the absolutely worst services from sales all the way down to customer service. I had zero satisfaction with this dealership. I wouldve wrote to the general manager but then I realized, he was the guy who was watching all the ignorance that was going on. I went to put a down payment on a car which the sales guy knew I was on the way but for some reason he didnt know the car was already sold over the weekend! That was the first to several other issues I had. Therefore, the finance manager was ridiculous(who claims the sales guy just probably didnt know which was hard to believe being he got the okay to put gas in the car when I told him I was on my way).....I waited over an hour to find out that the car I was about to put a down payment on was sold. Then the finance manager would never come out his office until he became irritated once he realized the next 2 car suggestion wasnt to my taste. He never told me how much I was approved for but he was okay with picking me a car out. Meanwhile the general manager looks on while all this is going on. I glanced and saw the finance manager making faces etc. with the sales guy as he was speaking with my husband and I. (The customer service was awful. No customer should see a finance manager doing this). Then there was a lot more to this, Im just tired of writing because the dealing with on for 2 weeks....and the car I chose, I still end up taking back due to everything starting in the beginning!!!!!!! Did I mention the general manager was there watching????!!!!! Theres certain people that shouldnt be given a position, sorry! My opinion! Id rather got played by someone else.I will tell every person I come in contact with to choose another dealership!
Very helpful with the entire process.
I deliver parts alot to them. And they are always kind to me and respectful. If I need some work done. I plan on seeing them
I was up front about my finances and credit; he assured me that he could get me in a vehicle that day. I arranged for a ride to go to the car lot, and the fact that he said hes been selling cars for 5 years, he could have done a much better job. He didnt have a care in the world about helping me get a vehicle. Very disapointed!
Very professional staff and they also have one of the best Service Techs around( Fred Payton)
Falon Deas is a very professional and helpful representative. She shows kindness and will do all she can to help you get the vehicle you want.
It was great the staff were great helpful and friendly
Great customer service on my dually
Nice place friendly staff Royce is good at his job
Fake advertising Trying hard to bring clients from out of town after spending all morning getting a loan and buying fight tickets to fight at the end manager mike trying to charge extra $20000 on a purchase of a 2020 sierra please respect clients by not comming with fake advertisements.
I will never do business there again. To get a oil change Ill just do it my self NO THANKS NOT EVEN A STAR
We will NEVER do business with Bob Palmer again. Six weeks ago we traded our GMC Terrain, which we purchased from Bob Palmer’s, in for a car at a different dealership. When we learned from our current dealership that we were entitled to a GAP insurance and Extended Warrantee refund, we immediately took the necessary paperwork to Bob Palmer and have called every week for SIX WEEKS asking about our refund, being told that “it was being mailed” or “it hasn’t come in yet.” Well, when I called this morning, I was informed the cancellation was never processed, and our paperwork was nowhere to be found. Apparently, our paperwork had been thrown away and now we’re having to wait ANOTHER SIX WEEKS for our refund check. We would have never known about the refund if it hadn’t been for our current dealership looking out for us and telling us if we didn’t get it, Bob Palmer would pocket it, and obviously they do not want to give us our money. My husband is getting the information on what we need to be doing in order to get our total refund from Bob Palmers, and hopefully after he takes care of this, we will never have to deal with these people again! This is RIDICULOUS.
Minus one star.
Great place
Raised the price of the vehicle when I said I wanted to come look at a car. Dishonest people.
See Brian for all your automotive needs
