There is a broad selection of various items, from clothing to books to jewelry… etc. My favorites are the energy beads! Some say they’re pricey, but my personal opinion is that they are worth it! The quality is amazing. I bought some almost 2 years ago & are still in perfect condition thus far. I love everything I’ve acquired from this spot 💖 just added more crystals and beads to my collection over the weekend!The location is a tight space, with bad parking. It’s all about going at the right time to avoid crowded spaces and find good parking. Overall, it was a great experience the few times I’ve visited. I will continue to return!Beware of the cat that roams the store..😩

I thought I was in heaven. Anything you ever wanted is here. I could have stayed there forever to look at the variety of stones. The gentleman with glasses is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I wish I knew his name. The staff is friendly and check on customers in the store while shopping. Go with a list to stay focused because you will find so many things you like. This is a go to place.

Amazing! The staff was nice, the place smelled great, and it was very calming inside. Plus, there was an adorable sleeping cat in a window. I found basically everything I needed, though the only thing that I did not find were little glass jars. But other than that, 5 stars! Would recommend

Even though I do not live in that area anymore I still drive out to this shop because I love what they have to offer. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They always have stuff in stock and the staff is such a joy to be around. If you have any questions they are able to answer you and help you.

This is a great store. I’m new to crystals/stones and simply being in this store feels amazing. They have 2 cats freely walking around in the store. Not a problem, they are very calm. FYI, it’s a tight space so you have to squeeze past some things. Therefore I don’t suggest you coming in with big bags, strollers or anything like that. They have large and small stones, books, bracelets, necklaces, rings, stones, statutes, herbs, candles, incense and more. Parking can be problematic, I’d suggest going early to find a parking spot. The store sits on the corner. I only gave it 4 out 5 stars because I wanted to speak with a clerk, any clerk about my interest but there wasn’t a “know it all” in there. Where’s the “know it all” who elaborates and talk too much when you need them? Lol. Each clerk was very helpful and assisted with my questions but just that.

Always a great experience whenever Im driving in that part of Maryland. NOW I have a new (renewed) reason to go there. But I will not speak on it until I have all the ones I want... 😆 🤣 😂. Listen, its never a disappointment to go to Main St. and visit them. even if you had not interest in getting ANYTHING AT ALL....you WILL leave with a bag of something. trust....

Most authentic shop Ive been to. A little small, but its filled with stuff. The employees were nice and seemed knowledgable, gemstones felt real, and there was a general sense of community. Youll find books, jewelry, stones, incense, candles, statues, clothes, tapestry, herbs, chests, dice, tarot cards, you name it! I will say that theres a cat if you have allergies, but hes really friendly. Ill definitely be back.

Do not shop here, crystals are highly over priced & the owner is always rude to her customers & employees. Always a sour vibe inside the store. Owner shows no respect to loyal customers who keep her business alive. I repeat do not shop here!!! They think they are the only crystal shop in Maryland so they over charge for EVERYTHING. One of my favourite places in Maryland for sure! I always find such sweet little things there and man… the cats there? Love love love! They’re so precious, I’m always so happy to see them. The staff are always very nice & pleasant. There’s such a large selection of items varying from jewelry, incense, herbs, crystals, clothing, decorative items, books, etc. I can spend so much time wandering the store and staring at everything. I always buy something when I’m there as it’s hard not to! Next time I’m in Maryland (as I moved to Michigan this month) I hope I can visit again. 💘

Great place for small stones and jewelry. I was excited to go because of all the reviews but was underwhelmed. It was difficult to move around. Honestly, I was really hoping to find an unique crystal but no luck. The staff was pleasant.

I love this place, very friendly staff. And the environment feels so peaceful and welcome. I purchased a picture from the window and can’t wait to go back. The art work on display will get your eyes and the scented candles/oils will guide you in the store.

The Crystal Fox is one of my all time favorite places to go. Gemstones, incense, statues, jewelry, and even some boardgames and miniatures. I can and usually do spend hours wandering and following whatever calls my attention. Best of all is the great conversation with the informed and passionate staff, not to mention all the like minded, open and accepting folx on the store.

I absolutely love this crystal store. I haven’t felt the need to go to any other store because I’m always satisfied going in there. They have a wide range of books for all your healing purposes and a wide choice of stones for your eyes to fall in love with while your spirit connects with them. Everyone is very informative and can pretty much answer all your questions about the items in the store. They are very polite and just full of good energy. I always spend well over $100 each visit. It is pricey but reasonable!

I finally had the chance to go to this small shop yesterday and I was blessed to have such a wonderful experience! I fully respect that they line everyone outside to keep a minimum of clients in the shop due to covid and also once you’re inside they give a few minutes to shop so that everyone gets a chance to come inside as well so the line does move extremely fast! I easily found the items that attracted me towards them! When was checking out I found a lot more in the front that I will definitely be going back to purchase. The women who checked me out was so full of positive energy and she was so kind to compliment the crystals I was purchasing! I absolutely loved it! I will definitely be coming back soon!

This is not a metaphysical shoppe. This is a hippie shop. Whatever the fad is at the time it seems to flow with that.There seems to be a lot of dust in this facility. The staff seems disinterested and detached, and although I dont mind the smell in small amounts (I had to get used to it, I lived in San Francisco).. The stench of weed was so overwhelming I heard people making comments about it.Install air filters.The ceiling has cracks as well as insulation or dust falling out... Im not sure...I will return one day. Who knows. Maybe not.Flukes happen.

I got some crystals and a tapestry there. They sell a variety of books, stones/ crystals, d&d items, and figures, etc. It is a super amazing store! Also the staff are very helpful if you need anything in particular. Definitely will be coming back.

I have been a long time customer of Crystal Fox. I loved the energy and being able to collect what I need in such a wonderful and welcoming space. My last few visits have not been that experience. Doesn’t feel like anyone wants to help me when I come in. Today I went in looking for a few new jewelry pieces. When asked the kind of stone and meaning I was met with a bit of sarcasm. I can’t recall what she actually said but she compared the stone to another and then responded that I probably wouldn’t know what that stone meant either. I then reiterated my question so that she could understand what I was asking so I said what does that stone symbolize like grounding, protection and etc. She then replied she didn’t know so I told her I would google it. My intent was to purchase a few rings. I left with one. She then rang me out and gave me my total. I asked about the point program since usually there is always a coupon. She replied they do it at the end. I ask if that was a new process? She then asked for my number and behold I had a coupon. My point is there has been a shift in service and the expertise within new employees. This is one of the reasons I started to frequent other spiritual shops. In addition the environment no longer feels welcoming. Not sure if I’ll be back after this. Just wanted to share my thoughts.

When we walked in I greeted the person in the front but it was a poor greet back, I was expecting more from a place that represents a happy environment and good vibes, I didn’t even got asked if I needed help but were asking others with a friendly tone .

Love it. They had a max number for customers and max amount of time in the store. I somehow didnt notice it until I was outside and really looking, it was posted in multiple places. Maybe they should mention the time limit too? Idk, I felt bad after I realized I was in way too long. Sorry!

My first visit to this shop went well. The shop is very cramped, though, and parking is street parking. I was told I couldnt park in the lot across the street. The second visit was awful. I walked a couple blocks in the rain from the nearest open parking space, and this was on a weekday. I was in the shop only briefly when one of the clerks abruptly told me I was in the way. I got a few items and was going through the Tarot decks, looking for a particular deck. When this same clerk asked if she could help (but was obviously annoyed), she found the deck. I put back the one I was holding only for her to castigate me for putting it back in the wrong place. The decks were not in any kind of order that I could see, except perhaps in her memory. I then went to check out and was told again I was in the way. I had had enough at this point, and handed the rude clerk the items I was going to purchase. I was polite, but Id had enough, and was concerned about the parking situation. I got back to my car and was fussed at by someone in the shop I was parked in front of, that these spaces were for HIS customers. If I had stayed any longer I probably would have been towed. It gets worse! I accidentally left my glasses in the store and called back, and they do have them. I left my name and number, and then I got a call from the rude clerk, who left a message wanting a credit card number for the items I was going to purchase. !!! Translation, youre not getting your glasses back unless you buy their stuff. I dont know what this womans problem was with me, especially that being only the second time I was there, but this was no way to treat a customer. They need a shop with more space, better parking, and a refresher course in customer service.

Loved the crystal selection but not the people...no one spoke to my son and I during our entire 30 mins or so in the store...only enter actions we had with them was hey it, xxx how would u like to pay...will never visit this place again....

Had an old review up but I deleted it as the one issue I had was fixed years ago and is forgotten to take it down or update it. Ive been coming here since I was a teenager, even worked here for a bit (my first day was main street festival!) And I still adore it as much as ever. Whenever Ive lived away from Maryland, the fox was always one of the first places Id want to go when I was back home.Its great for everything witchy with so so many crystals (why its listed as a rock shop), books, and candles. You can also find lovely gifts, some clothing, cheaper and fine jewelry with many different precious gems and metals too. Theres actually am assortment of dice, d&d books and figurines as well.I actually went today because I needed to mail my sister something, so I swing by and grabbed a ton of crystals. One of the perks shopping at the fox is that the stones/crystals have little information sheets, or have the information with the name and uses. The only thing I added to the info sheets was a visual description so shed know which is which since shes not as versed in whats what, and even I mix them up at home often enough.In short, its a wonderful place to go. Sterling (the owner) is a wonderful person who I genuinely like. I love when hes there and we can catch up. Also, there is a shop kitty, which every true witchy shop needs!

So many options and variety and knowledgeable staff. I found an herbal that is grown in Liberia (west Africa) which is such a blessing!

Aside from only being able to spend 15-20 minutes in the store due to Covid guidelines, this was by far the best crystal store I’ve been to! I was really pleased with how organized they were and how friendly the staff was.

This place has so much things from incense, crystals, books, necklaces, rings, candles, etc. The girls there are SO nice🥺 They never make you feel like you’re bothering them at all and are so helpful! And sometimes they have cats that roam around the store, theyre really cute and won’t bother you at all:)

Loveeeee this place. I literally have no complaints, EXCEPT, I wish the store were bigger, it can sometimes feel like an obstacle course and is a bit tight when navigating the store. I just love this little shop. Everyone is always so warm and friendly every time I’m there and they have a great variety of things especially crystals!! I’ve been to a few other shops such as the Enchanted Fae and they didn’t really have much but the Crystal Fox is by far the best! Definitely recommend here ❤️

Dont know where to even start. You walk in and get hit in the face with great vibrations. You need to go around multiple times looking up, down, and all around because there are crystals everywhere. Candles of every color, books, incense, herbs. You name it, they have it.

One of my favorite stores ever customer service is always great the energy is always great entering the store and leaving out and the place always smells soo good. I like the Crystal Fox but some of the staff can be rude. One clerk talked about how she does not trust ppl with no hair who wear hats. Right in front of ME, a woman with alopecia who wears crochet caps to cover my bald head. It was BEYOND insensitive and offensive. I left the store right after that.

I was super excited to take my mom into the store to share my interests with her, and the people standing in line with us were very sweet! While inside the shop, the people who worked there werent very friendly towards me even though they were joking with my mom. I had asked for a few things that I couldnt find and only one person seemed more than happy to work with me. Their assortment is HUGE and I do love the store! I just with the staff was friendlier. :(

Lovely store, full of so many interesting things and way more than I imagined would fit in such a tiny space! The building its in is kind of cool too. Even if there was a wait and you could only be inside for fifteen minutes, it was still worth it to me. I get why they have to do that to keep everyone safe and also make sure they can let people shop.

Found this place to be cluttered which interfered with good energy flow and given time limit to shop did not give the senses a chance to sort it all out. Crystals were beautiful but pricy and no evidence they are ethically sourced. Arrived excited but departed quite disappointed.

Mixed feelings about this store. There is so, so much in this store! Fun to look at but very messy and disorganized. Asked price and got 3 different answers. I cant imagine walking out empty handed in but probably would have bought more if prices and information were clearer.

Good finds on the usual and unusual. Incense are amazing my fav is Twilight. Crystal, candles, oils for body and burning. Variety of Sage sticks, let me be honest you can spend a hour or more especially if its your first visit. Very helpful staff they are well knowledgeable on products. I just dont like when I order online sometimes my order is not exactly what I was looking to purchase. They do replace with similar item but I rather have what I purchased. Honestly I think the website needs updating other than that Crystal Fox is an awesome, calm, inviting atmosphere to visit. Not to pricey shall I add.

This was my first time visiting this store with my mom. I had been looking for a metaphysical store near me and the closest one I could find was this one. I drove approx. 30 minutes to get here from where I live.After entering the store I was amazed at the array of crystals they had to offer, then I began to get negative vibes. I understand the limit of people that had to be within the store but the 15 minutes to shop was not very helpful. There are so many things in the store that 15 minutes is not enough time to look, figure out what you want, and then pay for it. I also did NOT like the energy I got after one of the employees screamed 15 MINUTES TO SHOP PER PERSON!!! as if I was in recess and it was about to be over. The whole store has a LOW VIBRATION. For a metaphysical store thats supposed to be for those who want to broaden their spirituality (or pick up some things they might be running out of) I felt more as though it was just a store selling you things just to sell them. I feel bad for those who bought crystals from them, its going to take a lot of cleansing to get those negative vibes out.

I took my family. We all loved it. The gentleman in there was very knowledgeable and very nice.

One worker in particular was not very kind, or helpful, with my question(s) but I did end up leaving satisfied, with the help of another. This store has a lot of great merchandise in general.

Today we drove for over an hour, and nowhere on their website does it suggest that you have a time limit when entering the store. Honestly I would not have driven the distance to be rushed and told I had 15 minutes to look through the entire store. I understand with covid-19 you would definitely want to limit the number of occupants, as their website suggests to 7 customers at a time, but nowhere I have been limited my shopping time to 15 minutes. I enjoyed their selection and it seems like a really nice place had we not been rushed. We will not be making the long drive out until the time limit is lifted. We also did make the woman, who was repetitively shouting about the 15 min time limit, known the distance we drove and it was our first experience there, to which her reply was a nonchalant, Cool and that we could shop online. Like I said I am very understanding of the policies with covid, I just think their website should be updated to tell their customers from a little further out, of the time limit.

Horrible they had customers in drive thru wating for 10 min and when they waited on us they made us wait even longer just because we said something 30 min for a hot coffe and an ice coffee everyone behind us was furious they were really spiteful for no reason and the guy who took our order wouldnt give me my receipt someone else did our coffees were milked down and my hot coffee was cold just wrong feel like people should know how awful people can be when it comes to food and drink so we threw it away.THE WORST SERVICE IN MY 50 years of living......

Recently Ive fell in love with Stones and Crystals, so Ive been ordering pieces on line, which was nice I cant lie but going to CFs was a whole new experience. I seen beautiful cats in the shop Gliding around, Beautiful candles, with small cards identifying everything it represents.Oils, Handbags, Books on Spells, which I was trying to find a Sex Spell but learned that I would have to put in More Personal Work than Book Work. I’m not one to write reviews but my experience was very disappointing. I’ve been to this store about 6 times and all the other experiences were great. When I first walked into the store everything was great until as I was checking the crystals out a few minutes later...this male employee is hovering over me as if to check if I was stealing?? I have never felt so disrespected and discriminated...although I did just brush it off. A few minutes later I had a question and so I went to ask the same male worker for help and he put his finger in my face! It was so incredibly disrespectful and off putting...a simple “give me a second please” would’ve worked but really this?? Thankfully the woman at the cashier was so helpful and nice but once again....very disappointed.

Wonderful store with a good little book & tarot card section in addition to the crystals. Very covid-safe, with everyone masked, and limited in-store occupancy. Had to wait in line outside for a bit, but it was worth it to feel safe inside.

This was a very mystical place. From Crystals to incense to almost anything your heart desires they have it. The people who ran the store were very nice too. I wish the star system was explained before I checked out. You need to spend 50.00 before you get a star. But I know the next time.

Just went there today and the store was beautiful! There was a sweet little black cat who loved walking around and meowing at customers! Incense was rather cheap and I can tell it’s good quality! Though be careful where you step, as there are boxes of crystals on the floor. Overall it was super easy to find everything I was looking for! The staff is very knowledgeable and helped a lot! I live 4 hours away from the store, but I will definitely make the drive to return!

Great store! My 1st time in this place and the staff was so helpful and informative. They didnt make me feel like an idiot by asking questions. You may have to wait outside to get in due to covid restrictions but for me it was worth waiting to finally find the stones ive been looking for.

Im so sad to write this review, but my last few visits to The Crystal Fox have been terrible and I hope that this could help improve the services here. I have been visiting The Crystal Fox for several years now, always being amazed by the amount of crystals in the store. I would always leave out with something: a crystal, bracelet, incense, sage, etc. After finding other reliable places to purchase crystals, I realized that the ones at The Crystal Fox were about 50% more than what I can find them for. Nonetheless, I still wanted to support this business so I would continue to purchase jewelry, incense, candles, tarot cards etc. The items in the store are intriguing, but the customer service will be the reason why I cant return to the store. The last several times Ive been to The Crystal Fox, I have experienced the same terrible attitude and negative energy from the same person. This girl has short dark hair and is usually at the cash register. Every time I asked her a question, she would have an attitude and roll her eyes after answering my question as if i was bothering her. She has completely ruined the vibe for me during my visits, enough that I dont want to return. Its unfortunate because I loved supporting this black owned business and never minded paying a little extra for quality items, but its not worth the negative energy and terrible attitude I get from the employees. After going to another crystal store close by, they expressed that they get a lot of customers that complain about the customer service at The Crystal Fox which confirmed that its not only my experience, but how the employees are treating their customers.

Ive never been so spiritually delighted...there was so much to see and feel...the stones and gems were oozing energy...I spent more time browsing than I can remember and it was relaxing and stimulating ...the store is a bit tight in some places but there are little surprises hidden that pop out at you from nooks and corners...every little hook has a jingle or sparkling surprise...thats not even mentioning the wonderful, heady aroma of incense and candles throughout...its a cool calm place...

Lots of items but shop people seemed so unfriendly. I was hoping for a sense of community. Lots of items made in china, not unique. Id suggest supporting small, friendly shops on etsy before coming here.

Great place for my spiritual needs, and wonderful service every time I go.

I traveled there (Laurel) from Rockville, MD.Tiny store but lots to offer! I did have to wait in line to get in on a Saturday afternoon (but that speaks for itself when you go inside) meaning it was worth the wait!Crystals, incense, tarot, oils, jewelry, BOOKS! (Sooo many books) etc.There really wasn’t anything lacking.I wish they offered more items of clothing maybe? And definitely wish they had more stickers and decals.Will be returning 100%

This store has great crystal oils incense and nice rings, I bought 3 rings this past summer and they Still look brand new. I definitely plan to buy more Jewerly from this store. If you haven’t been here it is worth going to check out!

This location is fantastic. Friendly staff and a wide selection. From knickknacks to books, oils to crystals, this is the spot!

I’m not one for writing reviews, I usually forget lol. But I couldn’t even drive off without sharing my experience at the Crystal Fox. The workers were extremely off putting. Understandably they have capacity restrictions due to the pandemic, however the tone of communicating that capacity was not friendly and did not inspire me to want to purchase anything from this store. Both workers were unfriendly and unhelpful. Both Sacred Circle and the Enchanted Fae have far superior customer service and is where I will continue to shop from now on. Not to mention the 30+ minute drive from DC, there is nothing worth it in the Crystal Fox. If I could give zero stars I would.

Small and crowded but everyone had a mask
