Super helpful employees. They saved my hair from being fried off and I am very thankful for that. The only place I’ll go for my hair dying and styling needs. They helped make my blonde hair not be orange hair like I’ve done before.

I was the 1st person in the store upon opening. I was greeted but never helped as I perused the store, searching for items, clearly not finding what I needed. Five minutes after my arrival another client enters and engages the clerk. They spoke for over 5 minutes. I went to counter to checkout and they continued to talk. When they paused their conversation I asked to be checked out. I was told by the clerk that there are other people in the store. I indicated that I was the first customer and had been walking around, unassisted, and then had patiently waited to be checked out prior to asking her to do so.She rudely huffed and walked over, continuing to try to tell me why she should continue to help the person she was with but no longer speaking to. I told her to stop while she was ahead, getting quite irritated with this obvious display of unprofessional and BIASED behavior. After ringing my order, she placed my receipt on the counter (not in my outstretched hand) and told me that she hopes I have a better day. My day was quite perfect prior to this horrid interaction and now much better that others know. However, browsing the reviews, it is clear that my situation is not a rare occurrence! If Sally continues to employ people of this character they will lose loyal clients as they have just lost me. Their product line for women of color has dwindled to just half of one case on one row, encompassing less than 20% of the store. Its clear that in the near future they wont carry our products and perhaps treating customers rudely, ignoring them, not offering assistance, and berating them is their way to expedite that process.

The woman that helped me was great! Their hair swatches are back ordered so she sat there and helped me find the best color for me by searching the swatches on their website. Always impressed with the service!

Megan, Sofia, Taylor and Abby are amazing and always help me when I come. I always come back in because they are always helpful. I’m a pro member too. They are always helpful. They helped me get my hair a beautiful purple black ombré color and then they also recommended aphogee which is life changing for your hair and ion conditioner. All the girls there are amazing and so helpful. They have one of the best customer service in the area.

Nikki was super helpful today helping us find the perfect silver color and giving suggestions but also took the time to go check for a very specific one we found online and we left with everything we needed! Everyone is also super helpful when we go in but Nikki went above and beyond tonight!

In the past I’ve had less than good service with Sally’s but decided to give it another go. Went in and instantly was greeted warmly and helped to find exactly what I needed. She went above and beyond what she had to do and the experience was a breath of fresh air from many bad customer service situations I’ve been in. I found out she was the new store manager! I will continue to go into Sally’s and be assured of amazing service! Thank you!

Today at Sallys this blonde, thin girl was pressuring us to leave as soon as we came in. We asked how much this product is and she took the product out of my husbands hands and said if u want to buy this you need to leave now. Spoke and glared very rudely while raising her voice.The place closed at 8:00pm and it was exactly 7:59pm no matter what time it is you shouldnt be rude to customers like that. My husband said is this the $5 dollar bleach? she pointed at another product very rudely. As soon as we walked out the store she locked the door aggressively and I was very very upset .. It ruined my whole night. Also made me feel like I had to buy the product felt very unwelcomed and the whole time being there was very uncomfortable. Nobody should feel this way!

Called to find out if they had a certain product employee put the phone down and never came back. After 5 minutes I hung up and they had shut down there phone. We ended up going somewhere that wanted our business to purchase.

I came into Sally’s to find a Wet brush for my daughter and Melanie was very helpful. The store was very clean and organized and the manager was very professional and went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. I’m from the Topeka area and was in town, but I will definitely make it a point to come by here again just for the customer service! Thank you Sally’s!!!

As a licensed beautician I have been shopped at Sally’s over 20 yrs. I have no memory of not getting good help. The employees are always friendly and helpful!!!

Sally’s staff is extremely sad and disappointing. They were out of green “Good Dye Young” hair dye and they called the cops on us because they thought that we had stolen it. The cops came up to us at Ross Dress for Less and we ended up clearing our name. Used to love this place. Will not be back. Wish I could give zero stars. The only positive thing of this shopping experience was the nice and understanding cops. You know the staff sucks when the cops give better customer service. In conclusion, the staff at Sally’s is trash.

They had all three items I wanted and the staff person was helpful.

Even with COVID, they still have a great selection and the staff is always really friendly

I visited this store in the morning on 09/23/19. I was the only customer in the store and there was one employee working. The store was neat and clean. Well stocked. I was not greeted, nor did she ask if I needed help finding what I was looking for. Finally, I asked her to help me. She never said a word to me. I began to think maybe she didnt speak English. After, I apologised for taking up her time, she finally spoke. I seriously doubt that I will be back, even though we just moved here and I really love going to Sallys.

No good at all and expensive with people that they never know abutting when you need help there... They have a bad! Bad attitude

I like to shop at Sallys Beauty store, but they need to keep the hair color in stock for women of color., no one has time to go down the road and shop a lot of the time.

Im in a wheelchair and the people there are so helpful. The only thing is that the lines are small but that isnt their fault. If you do your nails I totally recommend their named brand polish. $.99 for a little bottle, that last a while with just one coat for most of the colors, cant go wrong. Sorry cant say nothing about any of the other products because I only buy polish.

Recently went in to buy a new brand of hair dye. Every other type Ive ever bought came with everything you needed for that dye job in the box. I wanted to try ion for the first time, and assumed everything I needed would be in that box. It was not. Im not faulting the store for this, but it would have been really helpful if the person ringing up my items had mentioned that I could not dye my hair with this alone, that other products were needed. I dont feel like this is asking too much, as the people working at a beauty salon should be familiar with or somewhat knowledgeable about what they are selling. I wouldnt feel right selling something to someone without everything they need to successfully use the product from my store.

Great store with products across the country. However the Lawrence branch has staff which are really rude, a bit short tempered, and really no help. I have been buying Sally Beauty products for more than 8 years now, so I just go to a KC store to buy my stuff.

Employee was rude and we were very rushed. The second we walked in, she had to inform us that they close in exactly 27 minutes and then. As were heading to the counter 12 minutes later, she stops us to inform us that we only have 6 minutes left. She then began turning off the lights while the other employee rang up our transaction.

Has all you need for beauty - hair, face, nails, ect. Generally, at a great discount. Im a member and olive shopping at Sallys.

Expensive, but theyve got almost anything you could possibly need beauty-wise. Also, its well-maintained but its a very small space with cramped aisles.

Sassy staff that isnt very helpful when you ask questions about their products. But they do have just about everything most people could want.
