It doesnt get any better than Waxman candles! Its my favorite shop on Mass. The smell of awesomeness puts a smile on my face and I can never leave with just one candle! My absolute favorite place to treat myself to something special and totally unique!

Of all the funky shops on Mass. St, this has got to be one of my faves. Theyre so many collections of candles, as well as classic taper, votives, and tea candles in about every scent and color imaginable.

Whats not to love about Waxmans? The candles are a little pricey, but these are high-end candles, no doubt about it. I just got myself some Santa Farts candles for the holidays, and who knew Santa flatulence smelled so gosh darned good? Not me.

I love going here, especially this time of year. Even thru the facemask it smells fabulous and they have a trick for strategically and safely sniffing individual candles. Theyre happy to share the trick!

Lived in lawrence for many years and always liked going to waxman with my wife. We now live elsewhere and when it came time for gift giving this year I placed an order, it arrived very quickly, was immaculately packaged, and I got free shipping. I was so impressed I placed a second order. If you want to give the gift of warmth and light, waxman is the place to go.

They make the candles. Theres nothing like the candles here! They have a ton of creative, beautiful scents and colors and shapes and different types of wax. I love their beeswax ones. I also love going through the votive candles. They have expected scents like lavender or vanilla, and those are the best lavender or vanilla candles you can find. They burn for ages! They also have unusual and creative scents like burning wood that smells just like a campfire. They also have seasonal ones and hand-dipped tapers you can get in any color for a wedding or special occasion. They have really gigantic, beautiful columns too, like if you want to buy a unity candle that will burn for ages so you can light it on your anniversary every year. This is the place to go for really special candles.

Great selection of candles. We managed to pick up a menorah and Hanukkah candles which are difficult to locate in Kansas during a pandemic.

Dipped Bees wax candles are the best. Service is exceptional! Always a pleasure to stock up my vintage one dozen votive box for another year of scented pleasure !

Ive adored Waxman forever. The votives last a long time and the scents are impressively potent without being headache-strong. Natural choices- like beeswax votives, and exquisitely artfully carved candles make it a something-for-everyone shop for gift giving, too.

So many unique candles of different designs. The staff goes above and beyond to make your visit enjoyable for all. Last time I went in they let my daughter help with what they were doing then gave her a sticker. She was so happy to tell everybody she helped with the candles.

They always have cute seasonal candles in addition to their normal votives. I really love their selection of candle holders. The best thing about waxman is whether you are spending on a budget or you have money to burn you can always find something here that will please.

Local, great selection but a bit pricey but its handmade so if you want a cheap mass produce candle this isnt your place

Pretty much all the candles here are made on sight and theres damn near everything you could want as far as candles go.

Lots of candle options from basic columns to Jayhawk, lion, and beehive-shaped specialty candles. Staff is very helpful and if youre buying a gift or from out of town, they will ship for you.
