I went in to Kansas Sampler to look for a couple of KU items. I had to get the Shepard’s crook to get a shirt down. I got one from a lower rack, and the sleeves were covered with dust bunnies. I went to the counter to ask about a scarf, waited while the 6-7 girls behind the counter on their phones- one of them was startled when she finally looked up snd saw me. Pointed to another part of the store I could go look. Came back to the counter, girls were discussing when they were off work, etc. and finally waited on me. Terrible customer service. No one on the floor helping customers. I get better service at Walmart by far, and it’s cheaper. After I left the store I called to talk to the store manager, Stephanie, and after a couple of sentences I was hung up on. I called back. She answered the phone, and I told her how disappointed I was with the customer service. She tried to tell me I needed to talk to someone else about that, and I asked if she was the store manager, so who else should I be talking to. She said, “I guess me.” Then she said thanks in a bubbly voice and the conversation was over.😡

We purchased a hat as a gift and it didn’t fit. We took it back within the return window, receipt in hand. The cashier informed my husband that she could not process the return without collecting his name, phone number, and email address. He declined to give his email multiple times, and she refused to refund him. Finally her coworker who was standing nearby helped her figure out how to process the return without him providing unnecessary private information.It’s apparent that they want to collect this information to promote push marketing. We have no need or interest in receiving any kind of marketing from them.

Great selection of Kansas university items a and some Kansas state items. High prices on everything it seemed to me but the selection was great.

I simply CANNOT got to Lawrence without making a stop at the Kansas Sampler. As an avid KU and KC fan...its required shopping for all my fan gear. Great people. Great selections for all ages.

Disappointment. Called ahead of time for some shirts. Driving from 30 Mikes away, they said they would hold them for me. I was there in 45 minutes. They didnt. No offer to make it right. Wouldnt do a special order. Not going back. They didnt even care!!! Pretty much blew me off.

I’d give it 0 stars if I could.Rallyhouse in Independence Missouri Called this location to have them hold a shirt for me to pick up. I drive all the way from Independence Missouri to Lawrence Kansas and was told oops sorry we don’t have that shirt 😳😡I said so you guys didn’t check to see if the shirt was in stock when the independence store called.....The very rude sales person said no cause the girl who answered the phone is new.

This place is packed crazy full of everything Kansas, with emphasis on sports teams-- Jayhawks, Wildcats, Royals, Chiefs, you name it. It can be a little overwhelming, but the staff is great. Anthony volunteered to check in the back to see if they had something that might fit what I was looking for and wasnt at all put out when I didnt end up choosing one of the new items. In fact, he and another staff member cheerfully wrapped my small purchases in tissue paper, which saved me an extra stop. I was beyond impressed with the service.If you need a sports or Kansas themed gift, this is the place to go.

Every possible KU item

The stuff they sell is cool, but they price a lot of demographics out of bein able to shop there. Ive even heard Nike had an issue with the prices they were chargin. NIKE! Its also hard to walk through their store without the staff making you feel like you have to talk to them.

We generally go here only on black Friday. There is plenty of help on the floor and behind the cash registers. All employees are friendly and knowledgeable. There are plenty of different gift items in addition to the team clothes. The prices are a little high but typical for these products.

I love the way theyve got all of my Kansas merchandise together.Would I rather not have to look at other schools merchandise, sure. But that wouldnt be the best business model.The biggest variety of Jayhawk branded merchandise youre going to find anywhere including at KU.

The front desk staff went out of her way to help me as an out of towner.. she even looked up the demensions for bags that can enter the game. So sweet! Great selection, lots of help and always the highest quality of clothing around. Thank you!

This place has a ton of Jawhawk things for sale. There are even stuff for Chiefs and Royals fans as well. I enjoy the things that arent sports related but there is hardly anything new added to this section.

Impressive selection of KU apparel and accessories, better than the bookstore on campus in some ways. Fair selection of Chiefs, Royals, and Sporting gear too. Theres some purple junk in the back as well if youre in to that.

Great selection of Kansas sports gear, especially KU fan clothing. This is the go-to place in Lawrence for KU gear. As you might expect, some of the stuff is overpriced, but you can always find sale items as well
