I drive around all over the KC/Lawrence area for work and the dudes that are working here are the most up beat gas station clerks i’ve talk to you in a long time. I came into use the restroom and when I got to the door it said “please ask for key at front desk” I turned around and the gentleman was walking from the front to bring it to me before I asked.

I first visited a Kwik Shop in the summer of 1989 and it just so happened to be this location. Going on 32 years since that first visit, this location remains my favorite.

This location is not one of the more updated stores, but it does have the necessities. If your needing to quickly grab a roll or TP or some milk, this store is just fine. If your looking to grab an iced coffee (from the machine) or fresh sandwiches, look to another location. Store is clean but associates are sometimes not very professional. Parking is always terrible at these stores in Lawrence. Use caution.

As far as has stations go its not bad. Kroger owned so you can use your Dillons card but its no Quick Trip. Generally clean and friendly place.

Perfect sized for a Kwik stop (lol). Customer service is always on par. Sometimes difficult to get a pump though since theres only four. I have never waited more than a few minutes

Gas prices average, store always clean. Good variety of products.

Usually a very nice place. Ive been a regular customer for many years. Although ive noticed a steep drop in customer service with their employee, Xena (Zena?). She is especially rude to a degree ive never known to be acceptable for this store, to not only myself but multiple other customers that ive talked to. Very disappointed that this lawrence business would be okay with such petty and ugly behavior.

The young lady on night shift is wonderful. One day i noticed she had 2 large pizzas I asked her why did she have that much if it was only her? Her response was that theres alot of homeless people here in Lawrence and Im from a small town and I dont see see this often, so I give them a few slices. Ive been coming here for a little over month and I have also witnessed her deal with alot of customers poor attitudes and some also making threats towards her because she is simply doing her job like asking for ID for example a lady didnt have her id so she was denied so she sent her friend in for the cigarettes Zena also denied her friend as well explaining to her why she denied them, the girls didnt seem to understand and were very rude one even said some very racist and nasty comments. I can only imagine what she deals with at night. Bless her heart.

Never work here! This was the worst experience with management ever! I have been trying to work with the management on getting my last paycheck and the manager that i’ve been in contact with is named Jessica, she’s the district manager now and was the manager of the kwik shop on 19th and Mass. She claimed that i had received my last check and that i had sent her a message about it when i had actually sent her a message saying i got part of the hours i worked! I have tried working with her and i’m so done at this point that i’m now looking for a lawyer to sue!

Nice gas station, parking lot sucks though. Supet small and hard to navigate.

Had discounts with Dillons reward card and clean, sanitary.

Go here all the time! Theyre great.

The 23rd and Harper location doesnt have a page. So Im reviewing it on this pageHorrible service!Sent my 19 year old son to Kwik Shop at 23rd and Harper in #Lawrence, KS to exchange our propane tank so we could grill last . Lesson learned. He didnt know how heavy they should be when full. He is given completely empty tank. (To be fair, the cap was on the tank)Two hours later, we go to hook it up for some grilling, and nothing. I sent him back right away because they might remember him. They did. But the clerk that picked out the empty tank was off work. They told him he must have done something to it, or emptied it, or brought back another tank. They said hed have to wait to talk to manager the next day.Needless to say, my 19 year old was angry to have been accused of this 2 hours later when they said they remembered him coming in earlier. He lost his temper and swore at the lady a few times and left with our empty tank.I went there next to clear this up and so we could eat dinner that night. I spoke to some guy there but the manager in charge, Tina, jumped in and started on me. She said my son is not welcome there anymore. I said that is no problem since we dont intend to ever come here again. Both of our voices got louder (while there are customers in the building) as I told her she needs to look on the registers to see that there was a propane tank sold then and paid with cash for the amount. She refused and said for me to come back tomorrow to correct this.She then yelled for me to back from the cash register area or she would call the cops. I said, Do it then. So she did. I waited for about 10 minutes for the police to come where I explained the story again. They said that their hands are tied on this and that I would need to come back tomorrow. So I left.I bought and new tank and paid for deposit at a competitor. But needed to get my money back the next day for the other one.I called in the morning to see when the manager would be there. She said shed be there until 3:00. I went back at noon and Rhonda, the manager, went outside to look at what I had. I showed her and told her I just want the money back (as i dont intend to spend anymore of my dollars with any Kroger business) She said she would do that but I needed to leave the tank. I explained that this is now my tank since they took our old one last night.That took awhile for her to understand, but after a couple minutes, the light went on.Kroger companies need to improve their training drastically or they will continue to lose out to their competitors. Like most any Kiwk Shop. Get gas, coffee or snack, and travel on.

The parking lot is a disaster but the gas is decently priced and they have an air machine for tires if you need it.

Very bi*chy attendant in the mornings, constantly being rude to me and my fiance.
